This was my regular spot as they always do great work, until today. I generally work with one woman, but was seen by someone different and OH MY GOODNESS - the pain!! I told her she was hurting me and she just kept going at her same pressure and pace! Not to mention my eyebrows are noticeably different!! The complete disregard is what mad me write this review. I don't get how you can do that! Will NOT be coming back. read more

I had just grown out my eyebrows and went in to get them shaped. I specifically told the lady to not make them thin, and what does she do, makes them hella thin AND crooked. She wanted to take out more to even out but I stopped that real quick. They offered a refund, didn't take it because a refund is way besides the effin point. They just don't know eyebrows. I wish I would have taken before and after photos but they did a great job on my brows and my lash lift. I just went in to get my brows done and I saw they offered the lash service so I said why not try it. Glad I did. My eyelashes don't curl no matter what I do. I went to this place because of the good reviews. Showed up as a walk-in. The lady helped me right away but she rushed because she had another appointment waiting for her in the back. She took less than 3 minutes and said she was just able to do a clean up job. She handed me the mirror and I couldn't believe how uneven my eyebrows were one is shorter than the other. She does great work on eyebrows, but the other days experience was extremely painful. I come here often and have never had a bad experience until now. I understand she's working alone and has other clients to attend to, but she was very aggressive--so much so that the thread snapped three times from how hard she was pulling. My eyebrows don't grow very much so I only get them done every 4/5 months. I drive 30 minutes to come here and get them threaded because the owner does an AMAZING job. I came the other day and Z did my threading, I called ahead and confirmed she had time for me, once I got there she had me wait for 10 minutes before coming out and completely rushing on my eyebrows. She said she would only clean them up, but made them so small, and uneven. This makes me so sad because I love the job her mom does. It will take me 6 months to grow these out. Sadly I won't be back, unless I can confirm that her mother is there to do them. read more

Therefore, I found this place on Instagram and decided to give it a try. I saw the prices advertised ($28 for Full Face Threading and $33 for Full Face waxing). I went in as a walk-in asking for the Full Face Treading. The technician who was helping me commented on my "missing hair brow" hairs and that I should try castor oil when I have naturally thick brows and no other technician has ever commented on that. The she proceeded to tell me that she cannot "thread my sideburns because the hairs are too hard" and then proceeded to wax it. She was rushing and ended up charging me $32 instead of the advertised price. Mind you, she only waxed my sideburns and then proceeded to ask me for a tip. I gave her an extra $5 and she was surprised. It was my first time at this salon and I expected quality customer service, but they just shrugged me off. She did a good job on the brows and the threading, but customer service should be better. I just felt like they were just trying to serve as many customers as possible. The salon is nice, however you get what you paid for. The salon I go to charge way more, but she is more methodical and detail oriented than this place.

Sophies threading is the best threading in town! I have been going to the salon for 4 years and I will never go to anyone else. Z does magic with my eyebrows. Both girls are really good at what they do. I have brought my family and friends over and everyone loves them! My experience other places made me with threading has not been good. They sell jewelry and also do eyelash extensions that are amazing. I will recommend this place 100% read more

I was referred to Zee through a friend for lash extensions and I've been a loyal customer ever since. She's been doing my lashes for a little less than a year now and she always does an amazing job. She always makes sure it's how I want them and makes any changes I ask for. She's also always up for a great conversation or if it's a rough day, a quiet session with relaxing music. Quality service with a price that can't be beat! I just started going to Sophie's a few months ago and have just kept coming back. Threading is quick and high quality every time. I have thick eyebrows so it can be a little painful, but never too much so, and the results can't be argued with. The staff is always so nice and accommodating as well. 10/10 read more

And now whenever I visit my fam in Pomona, I can visit there other store named Jazzy's Threading & Boutique, Sophie's has really good jewelry and a good selection of Jewelry! I really like Sophie's salon. They did a wonderful job with my eyebrows! It was quick and easy, and you do not have to make an appointment either. and it was only $6! I recommend this place. it's really good. read more
