The first time I went to this place it was fine. The second time I had a horrible experience after the threading. I started getting white bumps on my brows and had to see a doctor. It was an infection from the threading I had got done here. I'm still dealing with it after a month. Now having to go see a dermatologist. Make sure they wash theirs hands before touching your face and that they are gentle with your threading. read more

Different lady, although she wasn't rude she just wasn't happy to see a client walk in either. Requested the facial massage and claimed she does not provide the 5 minute facial massages, because she doesn't know how to do that. Only the other ladies. I've been going here for years and usually wait for the same lady to do my eyebrows because I know the result of what I'm going to get. I stopped in on my birthday(yesterday) and the regular lady wasn't there but I really wanted to get my eyebrows threaded so I went ahead and was greeted by a younger woman who basically left my skin completely scabbed after. She was rough and not experienced. I was flinching so much that she even asked if I was okay. Not only did she thread my skin and leave it so raw she also left one brow way thinner than the other. I'm extremely annoyed that you would have someone so inexperienced tend to paying customers. read more

This place is awesome. I've been a loyal customer since they opened. It is a hole in the wall so if your high maintenance go somewhere else. I always request Gina, she is just the sweetest little lady and always exceeds my expectations. Ive read up on other reviews and yes from time to time she does have her little daughter there watching tv. Thee little girl is adorable and obedient . She never interferes w/business and isn't this big brat that isn't disciplined. We all have to make a living and it so happens to be Gina brings her lil daughter, big deal! I don't mind it. Always happy when leaving here. This was my first time going back after it being opened up again since COVID and my only concern and reason for giving 4/5 stars is because they did not clean or disinfect in between customers. One got up and she wanted me to sit down right after, same with after me. I just suggest alternating chairs while one is drying from being sprayed down maybe use the one next to it in the mean time. read more

So annoyed I came here. The entire time she was threading my eyebrows I could feel her like missing hairs or simply just cutting them with the string, not even taking them out! I knew I was gonna hate them but I just let her keep going. Once she was done, they still looked messy. I told her and she totally just ignored me and said "do you want trim" and she did that crappy too. I was extremely clear at the end that I didn't like them and she still made me pay. Someone that wants a returning customer should have just said, it's free. Since they screwed up. Never coming back here and NO I don't recommend! To make matters worse, I have a wedding in two days and I'll probably have to get them done within a week cause the hair is basically still there, just short. read more

Would never visit this place again. Went for threading and the worst salon that I have ever been. The lady is so rude, highly unprofessional and impatient. She quickly hovers over with her thread, it keeps on breaking every 2 seconds, then she pulls your neck so badly that I sprained myself. Once done, I checked my eyebrows and there were so many hair strands left outgrown that I had to tell her to thread over them and she got irritated and asked me to make payment because she has to address others as well. This place is relatively new, its popped up within the last 5 months as this small shopping center on mulberry and la mirada boulevard has been revamped and remodeled. I had always been curious about it and was in dire need of an eyebrow shaping, so I broke tradition and gave it a try. I'd have to say, the place is really nothing special, and its very unprofessional. The women who were threading had their cellphones out on the work counters, and their kids watching cartoons in the waiting area. When I explained to the woman who helped me what I wanted, I specifically said that I wanted my eyebrows cleaned up, not too thin, and given a more distinct arch. As I explained, she nodded away, and was quickly trying to get me into the chair. She spent about 5 minutes and said I was done, and already started asking for payment. She had done none of the things I had asked for. I gave this place 2 stars because it was cheap, and my eyebrows are at least a little cleaner. Other than that, this place is nothing special. Disappointed that I didn't find a hot new eyebrow spot. Save your money. read more

I have received many compliments on my eyebrows. Regardless of which of the girls has attended me I'm always happy with the result. I'm typically in and out in about 15 minutes each visit. The facility itself is not a 5 star spa - but considering the reasonable price, customer frequent card (free threading on 10th visit), and quality work, $7 seems like a great deal to me. read more

Never returning again. Why? I arrived at the place at 4:58 PM. Sat down in a chair right away to get my eyebrows, upper lip, and sides threaded. The lady starts threading me and it is taking such a long time. At a certain point I figure she must still be in training because the other lady is giving her some instructions. I am a really patient person, so for a while it wasn't a huge deal. At a certain point I started to get frustrated because it had felt like forever, and I was hoping to get in and out quickly. We are finally done, I pay and I leave. The time? 5:50 PM. Unacceptable. Ridiculous. Never again will I return to this place. If this girl was training, at a certain point they should've switched over to an experienced person so that I can get out in less than an hour for a simple threading job! read more

I tried this place for the 1st time and the owner was the one that threading my upper lip.. I left very unhappy due to her leaving 2 cuts above my lip area that were bleeding!! I told her you cut me as I was using a tissue to wipe the blood off my lip, she didn't know what to say.. Never going back to this place! Been here a couple of times and I'm very pleased with the threading. The lady that I got both times isn't very friendly and quiet, but I like how she does my eyebrows. I even asked her to make it a little thinner, and she did without overdoing it. I never have to wait, which is perfect, cause at other places I would wait 30mins up to an hour. She also gave me a little temple rub after for a few seconds which is just an added bonus! Price isn't too bad, about $7. read more

2nd time I've been here. Nothing special with their threading technique and I literally felt like she was going 3 layers deep when removing eyebrow hair. Cheap. But you get what you pay for. I get my lip, sides and eyebrows done and let's just say I only go here sometimes because it is so close. They are OKAY at eyebrow threading, but don't expect to get them shaped. When she did my sides it was extremely painful and I she just took random sections off of my face resulting in what looked like tiger lines of random hair spots on my face... Suuuper disappointed. When given the chance I go to little India and Ziba with nilofer. This is NEVER my first choice read more

No air conditioning so get ready to sweat while you wait. There's usually only 1 person working so you usually have to wait. I also had to ask the lady to use hand sanitizer before touching my face (the girl before me had just had a phone conversation about having laryngitis that was not responding to antibiotics).
