Went here with friends, and we all ordered different dishes to share. Most of the comments around the table was that their quality differed from before and some things tasted off. Starting with the most disappointing dish. Oh. The chicken and shrimp pad Thai was such a disappointment. I didn't mind the strange pinkish hue, but the flavor wasn't really there. There was even a slight sweetness. This sweetness didn't enhance the flavors at all. And there were two shrimps. Two. Maybe three since I'm giving them credit that one was hiding underneath the noodles somewhere. Some of the other dishes like the coffee pork or yen ta fo sounded intriguing but were also so so. The coffee pork didn't have strong flavors. I thought the meat itself would be more tender, but it wasn't. I truly didn't get teh yen ta fo. The assortment of tofu, fish ball, pork, squid were a random combination that didn't add to any sort of flavor. To me, they were random ingredients floating in the broth. I think I heard a comment that this version was different. The beef masaman and spicy crispy catfish weren't amazing nor bad. They were just average tasting. The beef curry was basically what it is: beef chunks, carrots, and potatoes. Nothing too unique to report. The catfish was indeed spicy, but I'm not too sure about the crispy part. These dishes were average imo. But certain things got a tad better. The pork from the Chinese broc crispy pork was great as it was super duper crispy, but the Chinese broccoli was very meh. Our friend commented that he has had better versions before and tastier variations in Thailand. The kao cluk kapi wasn't too bad. Though this was a rice dish, the pork belly and Thai sausage were really tasty. The red onion slices were actually delightful in adding some additional flavors and textures. And lastly the saving grace dish: The nam tok beef was really tart and flavorful. The boneless ribeye was so chewy and juicy. Combined with the sticky rice, it was wonderful. I think the nam tok beef was the only solid dish of all the things we ordered. Overall some of the dishes were a hit and some were a flop. Overall, the food was okay.
I felt like the quality has dipped. I've been here before and lately, I came with some friends and ordered a good amount of food but my wife was almost angry about the Pad Thai. She's a Pad Thai nut. It was almost too sour and the color was off. The beef massam curry was the best. I a fan of most thai curries in general. The fried catfish and coffee pork were good also. Everything else was good but didn't really stand out for me. I think we paid $32 per person after splitting the bill. 9 dishes and 7 people so the price was decent. We were all stuffed. At least the decor is pretty and the service is great. Would I come here again? Nah. I belive Tom Puk Puk and Bangkok Street food are better options.
TLDR: Pad Thai was really lacking in flavor and drunken noodle was too salty Used to really like this place but I feel like it's never been as good as the first time I went. The pad thai was really pale and had only a bit of wet sauce at the bottom. At first it just tasted like the noodles itself and a slightly sour(?) taste. I asked for some more sauce and the server was pretty nice about bringing me a small bowl of sauce. It helped a bit but not enough. The drunken noodle here is usually pretty good but today was overly salty. Pretty disappointing to say but I'm not sure if I'll come back for a while.
Last night in town, on business and I decided to order delivery (UBER Eats), so I could get some rest before heading to Atlanta Airport and face the long lines. I opted for some appetizers: Squid (Calamari), Fresh Spring Rolls & Chicken Satay. Everything did arrive hot and the sauces that accompanied them was good (seasoned & cooked well). I would definitely order from them again or go to their actual restaurant.
Finally got around to checking this place out. They are kicking out some solid food with decent spice levels. Plus sides-the place is cute and well lit and the older gentleman we had as our server was super nice. The AC wasn't set at a comfortable temp and because of windows and the summer heat it was a little toasty...BUT it would be hotter if we were at a hawker stall on the street so on to the food! Chinese broccoli was a little under cooked at the stalk and over cooked at the leaf-pork was super tender and flavorful...and the brothy sauce was salty and light-had the stalks cooked longer and the leaves been tossed in later it would have been a perfect dish...didn't stop us from eating it mind you, but it's something to note. Basil rolls were standard, well made and all the ingredients were crispy, chilled and fresh-zero complaints. The dumplings were house made, but needed some seasoning within the meat mixture-they were pretty bland and the bottoms of them got soggy from being in the liquid at the bottom of the bowl. I wouldn't get them again-but A+ for the effort of making them in-house! Chicken Larb was perfect...I really appreciated the fact that it was minced chicken and not ground chicken. There is a difference in texture and the way the sauce coats the chicken that I can tell the difference in. The sauce was spicy and umami and all the veggies were right at the balance of being crisp but tender from being in the sauce-it's a balance and they got it this time. Isaan Sausage was good, nice ratio of fat to meat, little bit of heat and wasn't dried out. Sometimes the sausage has a tendency to be dry and dense even with all the fat...but this variety was nicely done. Spicy beef was slightly tough after it sat and came to room temp. We still devoured it, but it required some hearty chewing. Other than that little set back, the rest of the dish was delish. Nice heat, umami was there with a hint of sweetness on the front end. Veggies were crisp but tender and we love purple(red) onions on anything. We enjoyed our meal and might find our way back in the future.
I would classify this your average Thai place, but the food was actually very good for good prices. Went there for lunch, I had the chicken fried rice & it was so tasty. Good service & quiet atmosphere at 2pm on a Saturday, not crowded & food came quickly.
The food was reasonably priced with extensive menu. The flavors were good but a bit on the salty side. The interior was nice, clean, there's a large covered patio. They also have a full bar. Our server was very welcoming ,very friendly.
THAI-ME TO BE HONEST | Surina Thai was just ok. After the previous restaurant Chom Chom, shut down, Surina took over - maybe because I loved Chom Chom, I was expecting so much more from Surina Thai. We started with some Thai Milk Tea since I was in desperate need of caffeine. We were a group of 4 so we decided to try quite a few dishes. Our favorite was the drunken fried rice, which was flavorful and hearty. Everything else we tried was pretty mid, including the Thai Fried Chicken, the Larb Chicken, the Papaya Salad, the Pot Stickers with Red Curry, the Surina Noodles, and the Hainan Chicken Thai Style. I think maybe my expectations were just too high for food that was mediocre, based on fellow Yelp reviews and ATL Asian Eats shoutouts. I may give them another chance one day, but will probably avoid the dishes I've already tried...
I was very very craving Thai food and Thai taste. Srithai never disappointed me. Some of Thai street food you can find from here. Good service by Amy, she was very enthusiastic with her service and smiled all the time.
My recent visit was lovely and quiet. Going mid-week during the afternoon can guarantee a quiet lunch peaceful lunch. The green curry was very flavorful with a hint of spice. The crab fried was tasty, seasoned well. I loved the perfect crunch on the shrimp cake, it paired well with the sauce provided. I would visit again to try a different dish and drinks.
I was happy to finally visit the restaurant after driving past it every day on my way home from work. There were only a few diners when I arrived and I was allowed to choose my table. In the warmer months there is an outdoor patio that must be lovely but tonight was cold and I sat indoors by the window. I started with hot jasmine tea which was light and comforting. There is a full bar and a large cocktail menu, but I preferred warm drinks this time. I ordered Kao Moo Dang from the house specialty menu and it was delicious. Pork three ways: fried pork belly, pork sausage, and roasted sliced pork with sweet gravy. There was also a boiled egg and sliced cucumber, and a dish of jalapeno soy sauce, all over white rice. I enjoyed every bite, the flavors and textures were great. Then I was offered dessert: either crème brûlée or mango sticky rice. Well, who wouldn't have the mango sticky rice? It was fantastic. The rice was warm and creamy, the mango soft, sweet, and juicy. Ah! I am glad I stopped for dinner. It certainly was the highlight of my day.
Really good Thai food! I came with a group of friends on a Friday night, and we were seated immediately. We tried a couple of different dishes, and they were all really good. I really liked the pad see ew and pork over rice, but everything was honestly so good. The mango sticky rice was also really delicious, especially the mangos. I would definitely come back for more Thai food here!
Surina Thai is located on the corner of Buford Highway, so it could be easy to miss while driving, but it is a solid casual spot for Thai food. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated with chandeliers, and the staff are friendly and the service is fast. I ordered the Chicken Pad See U and while it tasted good, I felt like the sauce was a little too sweet. My friend and I also split the Crab Angels which were pretty tasty and it also came with a yummy sweet chili sauce. The portion sizes were pretty large as well!

Surina Thai is on everyone radar. Nothing but good reviews. First no Thai restaurant off BuHi and now there's two! First Tum Pok Pok and now Surina Thai. Surina Thai is located in same plaza as Mamak Vegan off Chamblee Tucker Road. We came in at 11 am to beat the lunch crowd and thank goodness we did! By noon, people were waiting for tables! I ordered the tofu Basil. I opted for rice instead of noodles. I asked for Thai hot and the spice is there. I could've handled more but decided not to. My friend got the Tom Yum and Isaan sausage. I drank the soup and Tom Yum is delicious. I like how sour it is and enough spice. There are bits of fresh red Thai chili's inside. I cleaned up my plate. Service is amazing! Interior is nice. Gives an elegant feel. Liked the Siddhartha Gautma aka Buddha statue. I have to admit I enjoyed myself here more than the other Thai place down the street! Coming back! 96/2021 read more
Great Thai spot in the Magnum complex! Service was really good - the waitress took time to explain thai words to us in the menu and we picked a couple of things we hadn't had before. We ordered: - Coffee Pork - Jowl Pork Meat marinated in coffee served with homemade spicy sauce. This was the bomb diggity. The pork was thinly sliced and fatty and omg so tasty!!! The subtle earthy coffee flavor offset the punch in the face sour sauce that i really enjoyed. - Spicy Beef Salad - Grilled marinated lean beef, tomatoes, red onions & cucumber tossed in spicy lime sauce with romaine. Perfect combo of sweet, spicy and sour. Beef was cooked well - not chewy and had a good bite. - Tom Kha w/ Chicken - Lightly garnished with cilantro, mushrooms & scallions. The red chilis kicked my ass in a good way!! - Basil Leaves w/ Beef- Fresh basil, bell peppers, green beans, and hot chili sauce. Savory and filling. This comes with a very generous portion of rice - good for two people! Why'd it take me four years to come here after i moved nearby? Glad to have rectified that clear mistake. read more
This Thai restaurant is located in a kind of hidden plaza. There is plenty of parking and plants everywhere: inside and out! A plus for me because I'm a crazy plant lady. The inside is beautifully decorated. They even have a mini replica of The Reclining Buddha which can be found at Wat Pho (temple) in Thailand. There is plenty of regular and large party seating and very kind and attentive servers. My hubs and I ordered the Calamari, Papaya Salad/Som Tum, Sticky Rice, Rad Na and Yen Ta Pho. The calamari breading was super crunch but the squid inside was a little chewy. I didn't mind it but my husband was not a fan. For the papaya salad, we ordered medium spicy, isaan style. I really enjoyed their papaya salad. They added more lime in comparison to other restaurant which gave it a little more tang. I love that they put Thai eggplant in it as well. Sticky rice is.. sticky rice. I don't think you can go wrong with that. Rad na is usually my go-to at Thai restaurants but I felt like the gravy just tasted too chicken-brothy/bouillon, not enough soy sauce. The Yen Ta Pho was PERFECT. Best Yen Ta Pho I've had at any Thai restaurant. We'll def be back to try the other dishes! read more
There is parking by the restaurant, however, can get packed especially on the weekend. This is close to the Buford city market shopping plaza. Inside is spacious and the staff were all wearing masks. Tables are decently spaced apart. Because the restaurant is still kind of new, I believe they are waiting on their alcohol permit. It looks like there will be a full bar from the way it's set up. Satay beef: tender and flavorful. Fried chicken: very crispy but two pieces were literally just the fried dough, no chicken inside. Papaya salad: was delicious and refreshing. Perfectly offsets the more heavy flavors. Slightly spicy. Potstickers: lacked in flavor and wasn't very hot when it arrived at the table. The red sauce was nice but I feel like it doesn't go with the potstickers. Wouldn't order it again. Spicy seafood soup: was delicious!! Slightly spicy. Had a good amount of seafood inside. Crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli: flavorful, but the pork was a bit too crispy for my liking. Spicy crispy catfish: tasted good, nice crisp to it but fish was still nice and soft on the inside. Not spicy at all in my opinion. Drunken noodles: delicious with a nice amount of spicy level to it. Here's another post about Surina Thai . We went last night for a friends birthday since we've been seeing soooo many good posts about it, we had high hopes. We ordered the papaya salad, Thai sausage, Tom yum Kang, diet glass salad, sausage salad (?) Y6, chicken curry, drunken noodles, nam tok, and three flavored flounder, 3 Thai milk tea, 1 Thai lime black tea. Everything costed ~ $143 without tip. All in all, I think they're okay, it didn't wow me like Tum Pok Pok, but they're not bad we agreed on a 7/10. Read on to see a more detailed post on each item and how I, myself, rank each dish. This is all my own opinion except on the fish and curry since I didn't try those. Papaya salad - it was okay, this one didn't have the eggplant in it which I usually like. It's very normal if you can't stand the shrimp paste. Tum pok pok is more pungent, and I like that. Thai sausage - um, I mean I feel like it tastes the same everywhere? Tom yum kang - wow oh wow, I never eat coconut soup but I liked theirs. It wasn't too coconutty, it was sour, too sour for some of my friends but I loved every bit of it. 10/10! Just me though haha Diet glass salad - this was really good, it's a small dish. The shrimp was huge, the squid perfectly cooked, I enjoyed ever last morsel. 10/10 Sausage salad - it's more like Chinese sausage mixed with papaya salad. 5/10 Chicken curry - some like it, some didn't. It was too sweet for my boyfriend. Drunken noodles- good flavor, big shrimp, but it didn't wow me. I had drunken noodles for the first time at tum pok pok and it floored me. It had that Smokey flavor. Nam tok - 10/10! 10/10! 10/10! Meat was tender, juicy, sour, I added extra pepper flakes, and it was the best. I poured the juice over my rice while waiting on our soup since they forgot about it and brought it out last. Three flavored fish - on the sweeter side, but very crispy, and on par with Thai of norcross but better? Like it was fresh. Market price was $26 which was really cheap compared to other places that serve this dish. Thai tea - wasn't great. It was super sweet, still the best at iluvhotpot Thai lime black tea - overly sweet, I had to mix with half a glass of water. Overall, it's okay, I feel like it's very Americanized not authentic because the flavors weren't as strong but it's still one of the better Thai places. I do wish portions were a bit larger at these new Thai places. I gave it 4 stars because of the rice refills! read more
My nail place is right next to this restaurant and I finally got to try it! The interior is gorgeous, and the patio looks like a great place to hang. There's a bar, and plenty of tables. The staff is very courteous, very attentive. I got the papaya salad thai style and I'm so glad I did! In my opinion, a good Thai place has to have a good papaya salad. My husband got the duck curry and it was so flavorful. I had a craving for drunken noodles with tofu and they were nice and chewy, slightly sweet, stir fried perfectly. We are thrilled to have a good Thai spot close to us. Surprisingly there are not a lot of noteworthy Thai places in Atlanta. There's plenty of options, but mostly mediocre. Lovely spacious place. Liked the food and the people. The prices compared to other Thai restaurants are reasonable. Portions are great for sharing. The services was also very fast. I tried the following: Kanom Jeeb: Chicken n shrimp dumplings. Tasty but served with sweet soy sauce. Not a big fan of the sweetness. Will order without the sauce next time. 3/5 Thai Fried Chicken: Crunchy and super delicious. Not very sharable as it is only a few nugget sized pieces. Eat it for yourself. Definitely recommend. 5/5 Tom Yum Kung: Coconut Chilli Soup. Great for sharing with 3-4 people. No skimping on the shrimp and mushrooms. Beware there is a good kick from the chillies. 5/5 Chicken Panang Curry: Awesome flavors. It has a sweetness and it is delicious. Comes with and perfect with white rice. Also great for sharing. 4/5. Drunken Noodles: Very tasty flat noodles, lots of beef strips, super flavorful and great for sharing. Definitely recommend. 5/5. Show this new establishment some love. Everybody has been raving about this new Thai restaurant in Chamblee and it is pretty good! I have always felt like we do not have great Thai restaurants (I used to love Thai of Norcross but it has gone down over the years) but we got 2 new great additions in the area and I have not been disappointed. It is located in a small complex, but there is plenty of parking and the interior is modern and clean. We ordered multiple dishes to share and I really enjoyed the following: Fancy Thai sausage salad Yum glass noodle salad Roasted duck red curry (very smooth curry) Drunken noodles (super flavorful) Three flavor fish (super crispy and topped with a flavorful sauce) I would say it did not seem 100% authentic but it is good. I definitely want to come back and try more dishes. read more

I went for the first time yesterday. I always order the basic Thai noodle dishes when trying a new Thai place. I order Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Thai is one of my favorite cuisine so I have it at least once a week. This was the best Pad Thai and Pad See Ew I've had.....ever. It looks rustic, but the flavor is all there. Just make sure you ask for chili powder on the side as the 3 red hot chili pepper order tasted like it was left out (same as other people's comment). The best part is that both dishes were only $10 (same for dinner and lunch) This is my new Thai place. read more

We had a party of 7 and we didn't called ahead. We were seated after 10min wait so it was really good! I didn't catch our waitress's name but she was so nice and knowledgeable regarding their menu and what we would like. We end up ordering the following dishes: Coconut soup Three flavor fish Papaya salad Thai style Hainan chicken dish Kha moo Beef drunken noodle Crab and shrimp fried rice Everything was delicious! Nothing was too salty and everything tasted fresh. I love the crab fried rice and the three flavor fish the most. Also, they have a special concoction of Thai tea with strawberry milk and it was delicious! I definitely recommend Surina. Also, portion was huge and price was very fair! was looking for a thai spot in the doraville/buford highway area and found surina thai on yelp! tldr; generous portion sizes for really great prices! the restaurant is very large and spacious. i came here on a sunday afternoon for lunch. the menu is extremely reasonably priced: noodle dishes are $10 and really big. PAD THAI ($10) i got the pad thai with chicken. it was a very generous portion and i got 3 meals out of it. the dish was tasty--a bit on the sweet side. there's some chili flakes on the side you can mix in. DRUNKEN NOODLES ($10) my friend got the drunken noodles. he said it had a nice spice to it but wasn't too spicy or anything. again, very generous portion and had vegetables and beef. overall, food was great especially because of the prices! restaurant was spacious and service was friendly. the only two things to point out were 1) when it came to pay for the bill, the waiter pressed the tip for me and asked if "that amount was okay". i guess it kind of made me uncomfortable because i would have preferred to complete the transaction myself. when someone chooses it for you and then asks you if it's okay while they are holding the card reader, it makes you feel obligated to whatever they put in. 2) though there was practically no one else in the restaurant, the waiter seated us right next to the only other party. with the pandemic, i would have preferred to be spaced out more. read more

I have heard so many people talking about how good of this place and finally I got a chance to tried Surina Thai today! Here are what I ordered; Shrink cakes, kanom jeeps, look chin pinh, kang jued tap hop, Yen ta do, and just hub. I really likes the Yen ta do noodle soip!! It's the best one I've ever had in the USA. I definitely will be back soon!! EXCELLENT service, Very nice people! read more
The papaya salad lacked a depth of flavor and the Tom Yung soup also lacked flavor and was extremely salty. The Drunken Fried rice was delicious and the fried cat fish (not pictured) paired perfectly with some white rice. All in all I would be willing to try this place again. read more

the place is pretty on the inside. the service was ok. the food was nice to look at but it wasn't as good as i thought it would be. the flavors were just off. in i haven't been back and won't be going back. probably why the place was practically empty. the food was just not great read more

We found this place because it was near my boyfriends haircut salon, so it was a convenient place to stop by. The food was actually flavorful and there were a few dishes that aren't normally on Thai menus. I think my boyfriend was explain this was a different region of Thailand then the Thai restaurants we usually go to. We usually find ourselves in Thai restaurants that have Issan style dishes. However I would not recommend this place nor would I go back. Our experience here was not worth it. Service aside from food play a big role in wether I go back to a place. Nobody wants to go back to a place they weren't welcomed in. The older asian lady with blond hair ruins this place. She is SO RUDE. Dirty looks and horrible attitude. I really wanted to speak to the manager or whoever the lady that looked in charge was but we were running late and had to go to our appointment. Please try other Thai places. They are much friendlier and can taste just as good in this area. read more

Good food for solid prices. No complaints - you won't be disappointed. It won't be the world's greatest Thai food - but for the pricing - you're getting a good deal. Everything tasted delicious or had nice textures to each bite. Can't go wrong with coming here! read more

In an assuming strip mall is some of the freshest and tastiest Thai I've ever had. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. Spacious, bright, and very open. We were greeted immediately & sat. It took a while for someone to come over and start our orders, however once our server came over he was cheerful, accommodating, and attentive. He knew the menu well and helped us make decisions. The menu is extensive, just eating a few apps alone would be enough for a meal. We tried the pork larb... DELICIOUS. Some other highlights: THE SEAFOOD SOUP... the broth was so flavorful & complex ... so good. The server recommended the fermented sausage app and it was definitely one of my favorites. I was impressed at how fresh all the dishes were. The prices were reasonable and all of the food came out quickly. We truly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service. We Will definitely return. read more

I was very impressed with this place when I first visited the establishment for dinner. The restaurant is huge and nicely decorated with ample parking. They're located next door to Mamak Vegan restaurant. Our group was seated right away by the wonderful hostess and was offered water as we seated. I think our server was new since he appeared shy and there was a miscommunication with him when he thought we were asking for our checks, but haven't even gotten our entrees yet. For apps, we shared chicken satay - it was very flavorful and the peanut sauce was delicious, also came with a side of pickled veggies. My one critique is I wish they would have grilled the satay longer and get the smoky flavor from the grill. As an entree, I ordered the veggie delight with shrimp and my friend order the Nam Tok beef. Veggie delight came with tons of veggies and 8-10 pieces of shrimp in a light sauce. I do believe they don't serve their entrees with rice so that is extra. Overall, I would go back to this place and try the rest of their menu. Update 9/15/21: I returned here for my second time and our service and food remained awesome. read more

This has become one of my go to restaurants in Atlanta. I saw a lot of good reviews within the Atlanta foodie community and happened to be craving Thai food so we gave it a try. The food that we ordered were mostly all amazing. We loved the roasted duck red curry and the three flavored fish the most. The Tom Yum Kung soup was delicious as well! We also tried the Tom Kha soup on another visit and that was also a great choice. The other items, in my opinion, were average but still a bit better than other Thai locations I've been to. We got a combo side that came with a cute basket of plain sticky rice, fried chicken, and their papaya salad. I wish they had mango sticky rice on their menu so hopefully they'll consider adding that to their menu in the future. The service was great! Every employee was really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The inside is spacious and clean. There's plenty of parking in the lot too. I've already been back twice so definitely recommend it! read more

We have been wanting to try Surina Thai for the longest time, but just haven't been able to get there. We finally managed on Saturday afternoon. I really wanted a cocktail and some great snacks and wow, Surina provided on both counts! We started with the fresh basil rolls, which are different than Surin's usual basil rolls. If you go to any of the other Surins, they typically have vegetarian fresh basil rolls, which aren't bad but these had shrimp and homemade pork sausage inside of them and they were delicious! Way better than the vegetarian ones even though we like those too. By this point, I had lost count of how many things I had ordered, because I ordered way too much, but I didn't care because it all sounded really really good! The next item to come out of the kitchen was the fried beef jerky. I really didn't know what it was but on the menu it really sounded good so we got it and wow, it was good! It is a marinated beef dish that is then deep fried lightly and it is just savory and delicious. I'm not sure we can ever go back and not get this again and that's with knowing how much of the menu is outstanding. We absolutely loved this. The next dish that came to us were the dumplings. I don't have the menu in front of me, so I'm not sure what these are made of, but I know they handmake them there and I know they have shrimp in them. I believe they have shrimp and pork, but they may be a shrimp and chicken dumpling, I'm not certain. If you have food preferences, religious preferences, or food allergies I suggest you ask or consult the menu. These dumplings were served sitting in a sauce that was a little bit sweet and a little bit savory and garnished with green onion curls. They were absolutely delicious. One of the items that very few Thai restaurants in the area serve are either fried shrimp patties or fried fish patties. Typically they are made with ground shrimp and/or fish and have Makrut lime leaves finely shredded into them along with, typically, small bits of long beans in them. They're deep fried and served with a bit of sweet chili sauce and they are a perfect snack to have with cocktails. These were made using only ground shrimp, I believe, and they didn't have the lime leaf or the green bean in it. They were shaped into small, donut shaped rings, and covered with panko crumbs before being deep-fried. They were absolutely crispy and STELLAR! This is another item that I will never be able to get away from when I come here again. So delicious! Another absolute hit on the menu is the deep fried chicken thighs on a skewer. These are served with a sweet chili sauce and they are crispy, delicious and almost greaseless. I don't think I have had better fried chicken anywhere and the fact that they use thighs means that they are so much juicier than anything using breast meat. I mixed the sweet Thai chili sauce with some of their house made hot sauces, and was just in heaven. We got the grilled pork meatballs as well and while I liked them very well. my husband was not as big of a fan. These are another homemade product and the ground pork is kneaded to provide a bouncy texture. I realize that talking about a bouncy texture may put some people off, but it's standard in some cultures and I particularly like it. They were brushed with a sweet sauce that provided a nice foil to the rich pork. The last item that we got was the green papaya salad. I am in love with green papaya salad and will get it anywhere I go if it is on the menu. My husband, not so much. He likes the Vietnamese papaya salads better because they tend to be a little sweeter and not as spicy. There used to be one at a restaurant, called COM that he just loved but it's out of business now. I like the funky Thai salads better so I ate that one myself, and I would get it again in a heartbeat. All in all, we had a great time. Delicious Thai food with a very relaxed ambiance. I enjoyed the Kanom Jeeb and the Panang Curry with Chicken. The service was attentive and the staff was very kind. I enjoyed my experience and would be happy to return to try other dishes on their menu. read more

I drove 45 minute round trip because this places has the best reviews for Thai in Atlanta. I order the crab angels, mango sticky rice and drunken noodles . The crab angeles aka the crab wanton was 3/5 it wasn't any crab or seasoning just cream cheese. The mango sticky rice was the cool but I've had way better . The drunken noodles was trash. I asked for jr vegan (so tofu) and they still put egg. I picked the egg out and the veggies were frozen veggies not fresh (good Thai always uses fresh veggies) and I asked for it Thai hot and it was t spicy at all. The man working the door was also rude, a stand off ish vibe when I was asking about iteams on the menu. I wouldn't drive back, and they gave me to go bag from a kitchen store, I'm all about recycling but I don't want my food in a used bag. Very disappointed read more

I had an emotionally difficult day and wanted Thai food so my guy found this place for us to try. It was around 3-4 pm on a Saturday and it was a quiet, beautiful sanctuary. The service was quick and friendly and the food was sooo fresh and wonderful. I also enjoyed their sweet iced tea. The whole experience was a huge comfort to me. No, not at this time, but two different staff told me they plan to add outdoor seating eventually. Not sure when.
