They also had baseball and surfing on some TVs. There's a pool table too. Creative cocktails. Nice, older crowd. After the game, the bar has karaoke. And ALL of the singers were excellent!! (I was just a happy listener!). Met some nice people. They have bands from all over other nights. Turned into an unexpected and fun evening. Oh, they also serve food, but I had just eaten. I did get French fries later, which were seasoned and yummy!

It was listed as linguini Vongole White (clams) but the waitress got the kitchen to go with my simple order. A very pleasant end of day and you can tell by the prices why families come here. Very reasonable. I will mention that they pride themselves as having great steaks. Ummmm. We will see. Highly recommend DiStasio's for a casual, relaxed evening without having to mortgage your house to pay for dinner.

Their drinks are Pepsi, wish they were Coke products, but you can refill for free. One time their CO2 was out but she didn't tell me when I purchased the lunch. She was able to give me some drinks in a bottle that time. Weird, though, that she didn't tell the customers before they paid that their carbonation was down!! But she made it right, so that is good. I will definitely return here and might start ordering my home pizza from here again.

Unfortunately, their sandwiches are about the same - at least the one I try. I ordered a turkey on a roll with lettuce, cheese, and mayo. The bread was still SO DRY that I couldn't like the sandwich at all. I did order a small pizza and a hotdog. These are new to the menu since I was there last. After waiting an incredibly long amount of time to get my order, I was at least happy with the pizza and hot dog. Glad to have a hot dog option next to the theatre so I can sneak one in!! I ordered extra cheese on the pizza but I didn't need to. I am happy to upgrade my star rating to 3-stars for those two new items. I am picky about the bread for my sandwiches and honestly the only one I liked was when you had the sliced wheat bread option available one day as a fluke. I will go to Mr. Pickles for my sandwiches from now on, but I might stop in for a pizza or a dog.

We had to try this place, not only due to the overwhelmingly good reviews, but also due to the owners confidence in his product- he replies to every single 1 star review! (there are relatively few, but he definitely keeps a finger on the pulse). I thought, for an owner to really keep an eye on and respond to each once says a lot about the pride in his product! From the moment we entered the restaurant, it felt like we were at a friend's house. The vibe was island relaxed with the reggae music and floral curtains. Sponge Bob entertained our kids on the big tv. You can tell it is a family establishment run with love. We passed bikes and skateboards parked to the side of the front door. The server, who I'm guessing was "Mom", came out and gave us menus and water quickly, and also let us know that they were very busy with to go orders and if we wanted pizza, it would be about 45 minutes, but salad would be quick. That wasn't a problem at all since we were in no hurry, and we had planned on salad and pizza anyways. We ordered a wedge salad for the family, and it came quickly and was really delicious. No skimping on the blue cheese dressing and bacon. It also included thinly sliced tomato and iceberg lettuce. As my 4 year old daughter was enjoying looking through the back kitchen pass through at the owner, I'm guessing "Dad", toss pizza dough in the air, she said she wished she could go back and help. No sooner had she said this, then "Mom" brought out an adorable Melissa and Doug wooden pizza party play set, which kept our kids entertained for the duration of the wait on the pizza to be finished. Now we need one for home because they loved it so much! This place is obviously very popular with the locals as we saw about 6 or 7 folks come in for pickup and they seemed to be regulars. Out pizza did not disappoint! We ordered half combo (sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, olives) and half Hawaiian (pineapple and ham). The crust was very good. Thin enough that there was a good ratio of crust to toppings, but not cracker thin. Also it had a good flavor. The sauce was also flavorful and you could tell it was made freshly. The cheese was perfect! There was a lot, and it had a great stretch and consistency. As we finished our dinner a little after 8:15, the owner's kids started coming in, and you could tell they were used to helping out, as they began turning the signs around to say closed. Everyone was so comfortable and friendly and we really enjoyed it here. We recommend this place and we will be back! read more

Surfside never ceases to delight us. Great vibe, kind of old school Morro Bay with a surf overlay. Great menu from traditional favorites pizza to hip new pizzas. Good choice for families with kids. Salads are generous, pizzas are perfect! Chef Shawn has got this down. Astonishing crust: thin and chewy with a sauce that is balanced and flavorful. Surfside rules the central coast. Avoid those other crappy pizza joints. This is where you get the real pizza. read more
