Went to Benny's on a busy Friday in SLO, enjoyed the live music while we waited for our pizza. Pricey for pizza and they were "out of all pasta" but overall good experience and likely return.

Best pizza on the central coast Amazingly delicious and completely unique Detroit style pizza

A lot of places lacking cheese.

To be honest I should have known to keep my expectations low. All Ive heard from the select few who know about Bennys is how phenomenal it is. And I think part of it was the thrill of the exclusivity of Bennys prior to having a brick and motar. We ordered a classic benny with double pepperoni and extra cheese. And took it home. Its good - dont get me wrong. But it wasnt $35 good. And for paying for extra cheese I was thinking it would be fully covered with cheese - which it was not. Ill give it another go - maybe its a 5 star pizza hot out the oven eaten on site.

Great food and great service. My go-to for pizza everytime I'm in town. If you get a chance to meet Benny, he's a great guy.

I love the concept behind this restaurants. I'm always a fan of variety and their menu being…read morestructured around combing small items like sliders, sides, and salads is perfect for me. I opted to do a trio with the bahn mi, tip o' Argentina, and the garlic fries. The food was good I forgot to take a picture! The tip o' Argentina was solid with the garlic aioli and the chimmichurri perfectly complimenting the steak and the lettuce and tomato adding a little bit of freshness. The buns they use for all of their sliders are soft, slightly sweet, and don't fall apart while you're eating. The Bahn Mi was even better. I love pork but was a little skeptical about pulled pork on a slider riffing on the flavors of a bahn mi. To my surprise and delight, it tasted just like grilled Vietnamese pork, which was perfectly complimented by the fresh and pickled veggies and surprisingly hot jalapeño. Finally, I got the garlic fries which were a massive portion, crisp, and very garlicky. Everything was good and with such a large and customizable menu, I'd definitely return if I was in the area again. I also want to give a shout out to the bartender, Kelsey. I sat at the bar and her service was attentive and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. We got the opportunity to chat for a bit and I loved her vibe, so definitely consider sitting at the bar if you're dining solo or with a friend.

It is a bit off the beaten path I thought, in a seemingly industrial area and parking was hard to find at 12:30 on a Monday. We had to go down the street and around the corner since the lot was full. I got a Gouda Burger, the summer crunch salad, and garlic fries. My wife and kid also had a slider but did Italian Sprouts, mac and cheese with bacon, and sweet potato fries. The slider was good- tasty but a little messy to eat. Both servings of fries were really generous. The salad was a good mix of ingredients. However the mac and brussels sprouts were a bit disappointing. For some there is no such thing as too much bacon but for us both of these dishes definitely had too much bacon- so much that we left a lot of the bacon! And don't get me wrong, I do enjoy my bacon. Overall, a good concept but we'll definitely try some non bacon dishes next time!

Why, why, why have we never dined here before?? We started…read morewith the truffle fries (hard to stop eating them), then hubs had the Napa Chicken Sandwich, and I had the Fig Burger (actual name escapes me, satisfaction level never will). Fabulous meal, so delicious. The flavors, the presentation -- off the charts. Lucas K. was the best server. Here, not here, but with perfect timing and in the perfect ratio, know what I mean? Asked the bartender if they had a good stout. He let me taste test the one they had on tap -- Ales Smith Speedway Stout (out of San Diego). Notes of chocolate and coffee.... Oh...sooo good. Went straight to my head. Do you see me complaining? We will MOST definitely be back.

Pretty basic menu menu - skews towards burgers and sandwiches - and they do these well. Budgets are solid - and they make great fries. Most recently had a chopped ribeye Philly - which was super tasty! We had a nice salad before dinner that was also fresh and tasty. Eureka also ha a great beer selection, and make a slew of tasty and interesting cocktails. Service can be a little hit or miss, and when they are busy (most of the time) it can get loud - but it's good for groups and odd say the kitchen is on the grove. Reluctant to give them five stars, mostly for repeatedly having mixed service.

The mac was very cheesy and really spot on, it's got some bacon pieces that gave it a crunchy bite here and there. We also tried the chicken tortilla soup which was equally good and the arugula salad was refreshing. They have a small outdoor seating where we grabbed a seat. Will def recommend.

We went all the way to the back to check it out. We eventually found very tight seating outside against a wall corner. A waiter came by to take our order but told us they don't serve food outside on the patio, only drinks. We were a little bummed by that since we were hungry. We debated staying and my husband went to the bar to grab drinks for us. Not sure what his conversation was with the bar staff but he flagged me to come sit inside and they'd be able to serve us there. The waitress was kind and apologized for the miscommunication. To be honest, I still wasn't sure what the miscommunication was but she took care of us and was super helpful so I was appreciative of the service! The burger was just okay but their Mac and cheese was good. I'm a huge Mac and cheese person and their Mac and cheese was pretty darn up there on my ranking list.
