Lately I have been revisiting Round Table becasue of their great Lunch Buffet!! I just wish it had better hours since I often don't eat my daily meal until after 2:00. They have an all-you-can-eat buffet that is $16.35, including a drink!! Included are a couple of pizzas (Hawaiian and Pepperoni), bread twists, and a salad bar. Such a deal. I love that the greens in their salad bar are crunchy and they have some good toppings. They also have some side salads like mac and potato. I wish the bread twists and pizza were warmer, but I probably got there later and they had been put out earlier. The Hawaiian pizza was good. Their drinks are Pepsi, wish they were Coke products, but you can refill for free. One time their CO2 was out but she didn't tell me when I purchased the lunch. She was able to give me some drinks in a bottle that time. Weird, though, that she didn't tell the customers before they paid that their carbonation was down!! But she made it right, so that is good. I will definitely return here and might start ordering my home pizza from here again. read more

Absolutely not. I've been ordering pizza from Roundtable for 20 plus years and this one here in Morro Bay has recently changed ownership and they have gotten so thin on toppings. It was skimpy with little sauce and hardly any toppings. I called and spoke with them and they said they would make me another one. Then someone called after 30 minutes of waiting and told me that they would not be making me another one. I said they I want a refund and you can have this pizza back and he told me no. I have never been this disappointed and I will never ever order another item from this place. Horrible new owners that want to save a penny but cutting away the topping. I will contact my credit card and fight it. You've been warned. If I wanted a skimpy pizza I would have order Domino for a lot less money. 35$ for a large all meat. read more

The last several deliveries all well past an hour beyond scheduled delivery time.. tonight it didn't come at all. Nobody ever picks the phone up down there so not only are you forced to use the online app which is fine but their particular app doesn't process the reward points so why bother having a loyalty program if you're not going to reward the customer that uses it. Just stopped here, my wife and I have been going here probably 15 years whenever we pass through town. We got a medium pepperoni/artichoke and two drinks and ate inside. $38. Round table has always been expensive, it was expected. Our pizza was outstanding and the service was as well. I saw a couple reviews recently and I wanted to put our two cents in because we have never had a bad time here in many years. read more

Sad that a once great pizza spot has gotten soo bad. I've been ordering from this location for years and it's clearly under new ownership that cares very little for what they put out. Last order was super skimpy on toppings and cheese. Let's not forget that this pizza is the most expensive in the industry. So maybe it's just me or maybe it's the times we live in but almost everywhere you go all the staff are brand new and you have to expe t delays. This place is no different with multiple new staff, computer errors, and all kinds of items not available. Ordering the pizza took longer than it did to cook it. The wife and I came in for dinner. Pizza was good. While we are sitting in the dining area a bus load of junior high kids and the six chaperone all sat down and was getting ready to order. A few others came in for their online orders, a couple of people came in and for to go orders. Now mind you the "manager" just left for a delivery after taking our order. This entire time the poor girl working in the back is making ALL the orders, answering the phone with tears in her eyes from being so overwhelmed because she is the only one working in the store. The guy who went out on delivery has been gone for about an hour. Really?! On a Friday night?! Who does the schedule for this place anymore? My heart breaks for this girl. I hope she gets all the tips, at the very least, from tonight. At least the people who have come in with a bad attitude flipped the switch on that after they found out she was all alone. read more

I have been a big round Table fan for years, until last night in Morro Bay. Went in to make take out order. Ordered large 5 topping pizza. Was told to cost was to be $57.00. could not believe the cost. Was told each ingredient was $2.30. asked about set combination deals and was told that's the way they do it. The young counter boy did not seem to bright. We left with no pizza. Went to local Mexican spot and had great meal for two including two beers. Cost $45. Sorry Round Table you are just a walkin shop, don't go crazy with price. read more

Terrible place to eat. Expensive for no reason. The owner pays employees $15 an hour to work EVERY SINGLE position. Having to cut toppings, answer the phone, bake the pizzas, stock the salad bar ect. Service is horrible. Erica and pizza maker with red hair are both rude and disrespectful. Erica has zero customer service and is not up front with the customer. We waited an hour for a pizza that was never being made after being told it would be 8-10 minutes after we arrived. We finally got a refund and left, only to hear "your pizza will be ready in 7 minutes and you don't want to wait", from the red headed pizza maker. Great pizza, fairly timely delivery and easy ordering over the phone. They always get the unique half and half pizza order we love right! The only complaint would be the truly dreadful churro twists we ordered for the first time. Burned, tough and I'm taking the 2 out of the 3 I ordered back to the store with the receipt for return. We ordered a pizza for delivery tonight. We wanted a small pizza and the only crust option through the app was gluten free for that size pizza, which I found odd, but OK. I didn't see GF represented as a photo on the website so made an assumption it would look like the regular crust. Oh how wrong I was. I will say that this assumption was MY mistake, I should have called and asked questions about the GF crust, and request a regular one. The pizza arrived quickly, but seemed cold-ish despite it being in an insulated carrier. Unfortunately, this pizza was one of the worst I've ever tasted. The crust was thick and dense and gritty. One bite of the crust and I was OUT, as was my husband. To the hotel trash can it went so we didn't have to smell it in our room. That said, the service was fast, the driver was nice and friendly. The large plain cheese pizza goes for $22.99, which is more like what you might pay in a quality restaurant, which this is not. I ordered a medium cheese and pepperoni tonight ($14.99 with discount found on Yelp ). The guy on the phone (Michael) said it would be ready for pick up in 15-20 minutes- and it was. The pizza was tasty, no complaints there. Here's what gets me about the deal: my receipt breaks it down as $19.99 sub total minus $4.16 discount ( should have been $5.00) for a new receipt sub total of $15.83. Add $1.23 tax ( should be .07 less) for a $17.06 total. So Round table Pizza took me for $ 0.91 more than they should have. I hate to be nickeled and dimed like that. Just sayin'. And yes I did talk to the guy about the total when I placed the order. His explanation was it was California taxes. Not so. I did reach out to them, per their comment, but's it's been 2 days and no reply from management. Speaks for itself.I did receive a call from them on 3-24-20 that resolved the issue. The pizza is decent but 5 out of the last 6 times we have ordered here, our order was made wrong. It's either missing ingredients, the wrong size, or just the wrong pizza all together. The owner won't issue refunds but tries to just send out more pizza to make it right, which doesn't help when you have to wait another 30 minutes on top of the 40 minutes you have already waited. Tonight is the last time we will be order from here, and I expect my refund to be back on my card by tomorrow since the manager or owner decided to argue with me about it and send his driver back to pick up the pizza instead of just fixing the charge. read more

I just ordered a large King Arthur, garlic twist and 10 piece boneless chicken wings with 2 flavors. After receiving my order, it had all one flavor of wings. I called the store and a female manager/or so she claimed and told me I could come pick them up when they made the mistake. When I told her I had it delivered she told me that I guess I will have my driver go out of the way to deliver the right ones to you. When I tried to talk she said rudely that she didn't have time to talk to me anymore and then the phone went silent. I said hello and she said I'm busy and have to go. Then she hung up on me. I was going to tell her to just save it till the net time but she never gave me the chance. She was extremely rude and now I don't want to eat the wings she will be delivering since they probably will spit in them. I have never been treated so nasty from anyone at this store and will be contacting the regional/ corporate manager about her total disrespect and rudeness. I will demand an apology or I will never order from this store again and will spread the word. I also hope that they demote her or fire her for being so disrespectful to me just for letting them know of a basic mistake. I wasn't mad but now I'm pissed! Order was on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 6pm. I order from Morro Bay on Quintana every week! This location is the best round table I've experienced. Kind employees, good customer service, punctual ETAs and made with care. Great pizzas, quick delivery, can't ask for more than that! We ordered up a few pizzas this evening for delivery and they got here before the predicted delivery time. Ordered right through the Yelp app and got ourselves a large Guinevere's garden and a large cheese pizza plus some of the garlic twists. Everything was cooked perfectly and delivered hot and fresh. So many toppings and perfect amounts of sauce and cheese! I loved that they included all the sauces we asked for plus napkins and parmesan and red pepper flakes without us even asking for them. The front employees were very friendly. (The only ones we spoke to.) Kept asking how we were and taking our trash and plates away for us. Place clean and pizza hot & fresh. A little pricey compared to our local Round Table but will definitely go back. Kind of small inside but had TVs and a couple of games for the kiddos. read more
