The vibe of this restaurant is definitely the best part. The service was slow but sitting outside by the boardwalk in Barcelona near the beach is the best. The food was good. The chicken tenders were definitely the highlight and the burger was a double patty, juicy and cooked to perfection! The milkshake was a little plain but nice that they have dairy free options. Overall, great experience and definitely a favorite in Barcelona.
This spot gave me a the little bit of california i was missing while living in barcelona. The nachos were super good with a such a generous serving. The smoothies were also amazing and it was right outside on the beach so it was a vibe. Definitely elevated beach shack type of place perfect for those hot long summer days!
Not really a 3 Star rating but also not a 4, they have both indoor & outdoor seating and we chose inside because there wasn't a wait. Semi "Surfer Dude" atmosphere with mostly young clientele, complete with fairly loud techno music playing, it was a fun change of pace for lunch - and the food was pretty good! The Rice Paper Rolls was an all vegi sushi roll that could have used something to give it more of a kick. The Tuna Poke over Quinoa,on the other hand, was very good. The bill came to around $35 US with 3 beers.
The good: Wow the food is amazing. Got the beef nachitos which were delicious and the Norwegian poke bowl (salmon) was also just as amazon. Nachos were so good we took what we didn't finish home, came back a few days later ordered them again and again took the rest home for dinner. The bad: The service. It's not bad it's just very unconventional from what an American is used to. They will let you sit as long as you want & there is no rush to turn your table even when they're is a line for tables. That is great as long as you are not in a rush. Every time you want to speak to a waiter you have to flag them down. Unlike in America they don't perceive this as rude, in fact they encourage this. The third time we went there during our Barcelona stay the waiter told us to flag him down when we were ready. This is only bad your first time, and as long as you know what to expect- you will have a much better experience. Overall: Delicious food, albeit a slow meal. Worth going to multiple times. Must order the beef nachitos. Also worth trying the poke bowl, the steak tataki, and the avocado toast.

The veggie burger had absolutely no taste but the chicken one was delicious and so was the smoothie. Plus, they gave us a paddle for 45 Minutes if we spend at least 15€ ! The service is ok
Very chill vibe, with great outdoor seating facing the beach. The truffle fries are top notch for a snack after the boardwalk stroll with lemon beer. Would love to come back next time we are here.
Really delicious food and cocktails, but terrible table service (even by European standards). At around 7:30pm we tried to order nachos, and were told that we had to wait until 8pm. Meanwhile, a couple literally right next to us (who had a different server), received and enjoyed nachos while we were trying to order ours. When we tried to order again at 8pm, our waitress had disappeared for about 20 minutes (turned out her shift ended and she just didn't tell anyone). By the time we were able to get someone to take over our table, they told us we couldn't order because a large party was arriving in about 30 minutes. By this point we'd been trying to order food for over an hour. We finally got it (and it was good), but we had to go inside.
I am usually very very skeptical about places located in very touristy areas. La Barceloneta's water front is for sure one of the most touristy places in Barcelona. However, we were strolling around the beach and found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Food was good, I had some pretty good BBQ ribs and Ana had a Chicken sandwich that she loved. Best of all was their warm Waffle (which by the way be advised that is Belgian-style waffle, not American) with Vanilla ice cream, that was really delicious. I wouldn't say it was mind blowing but the food was good, the prices are acceptable for the location and the service was very attentive. I give it a solid 4 stars for offering a good choice in a place filled with tourist traps. Recommended.
You HAVE to come here for brunch in Barcelona. This was by far the best brunch we've had in a long time. Everything was perfect! We got the tropical açaí bowl to share (absolutely amazing), my boyfriend got the French toast, and I got the breakfast tacos. We were so blown away!!!!! I wanted to come back every morning for brunch. Definitely try this place out! Great service and location.
YUM!!! We went here twice while in Barcelona so I think that alone says a lot. First came for breakfast and ordered an açaí bowl and the House latte (picture) then came back for dinner! Everything is amazing - drinks, food, atmosphere, staff!! The food is so flavorful and there is something on the menu for everyone. Will definitely be stopping by next time I'm in Barcelona!
Stopped in for a coffee. The Surf House is literally planted on the beach like, yeah, I live here now. Coffee with a view and a side of should I take up surfing? Cool crowd, chill energy, and sand basically in your shoe by default. read more
"Surf's up, dude!" I don't know how to say that in Catalan, but that would likely be the appropriate greeting, especially when the long-haired gregarious owner's name is Tarzan. Seriously. A London-based friend recommended this beachy La Barceloneta spot to Jamie W. and me. It's just off the promenade next to the beach. The menu consisted of familiar T.G.I.Friday's-style eats. The eats seemed like the ideal match for the umbrella-covered outdoor cafe. We must've been in a poultry mood because we shared two chicken items. First up was the satisfying 13€ 'Chickens' Sandwich, where in a rustic Catalan bread roll, they stuffed chicken breast marinated in herbes de Provence, sun-dried tomatoes, chopped egg, and arugula (photo: https://yelp.to/XQyWywmMXD). We followed up the sandwich with the 9€ Crispy Chicken Fingers made with panko, corn flakes, and various spices. We didn't think we'd have McNuggets on our vacation, but they were good probably because they had that extra crunch from the Kellogg's cereal. Hey, it wasn't culinary art, but it worked. Located in the heart of Barceloneta, this place has a great menu. It's a bit "basic" but anyone would be able to find something they love, including fruit smoothies, burgers, tacos, açaí bowls, and so much more! It's perfect for walking up from the beach on a hot day (which we did). The pitchers of cava sangria are a bit on the small side. I ordered the arugula grilled chicken salad and it was a bit drenched in soy sauce (the vinaigrette was supposed to be a mix of sesame, soy and lime). I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, but the food and drink portion didn't impress me. read more

Great atmosphere and location - has a very relaxed, lounge-y feel with great music, drinks, and food. We stopped by because we liked the music and the great people watching spot on their terrace. The cava sangria was refreshing and tasty. Headed back later that day and grabbed lunch: their club sandwich was good, nothing mind blowing but tasty and filling. Also had a bucket of beer and just watched the people pass by on the boardwalk. Would definitely recommend. read more

I have found this to be one of my favorite places to eat in Barcelona. The food is delicious and healthy, the drinks are good, and the patio is great with its beachy theme and view of the ocean. So far I have had the tuna poke, açaí bowl, and the veggie sandwich (all great). The only two downsides I have is that the drinks are too expensive and the wait staff is not attentive at all. Both times I have dined there on the patio I have had to wait at least 15 minutes to try and wave down a server, and even though they saw me they didn't come by. I even saw the woman at the table next to me finally wave down the server and ask for a coffee- he responded by staring at her and smiling and shaking his head no. Pretty weird, but still an awesome little restaurant. I will be taking friends there in the near future. read more

Excellent place for a veggie burger and milkshake in La Barceloneta. Good music, friendly staff who were really helpful when it came to allergy advice and an all round chilled out vibe. They have a range of things to eat, depending if you want a snack like a pancake or waffle or a meal. The cocktails are excellent too, best mojito I had in Barcelona. It's always busy so be prepared to wait for a table. Great place to watch the sun going down over the beach and people watch. read more

Blown away with the food!!! See all the pictures I took that what we had. Must have the nachos! So delicious. Layer of layers of layers of cheese.... so delicious!! The salad tasted very clean and healthy, the foccacia with mushroom is excellent. Even the ice tea taste so fresh and yeah I have to admit their overall food and drink are well presented. Anyway, you must try if you are here in barcelona. Highly recommend. read more

Excellent acai bowl and interesting juices/smoothies. Minus one star for the nachos that were just average and lunch menu that didn't start until 1pm (hubby had wanted a burger). Right on the boardwalk/beach, so it's perfect for people watching. Definitely higher prices than other places in Barcelona, but you can't beat the view!! read more
