We even called last night and were assured the captain wouldn't take us out IF the seas were too rough. Guess what. July 28th, 2026 the seas were too rough for this to be enjoyable!!! Multiple people puked. We wanted to switch days to Saturday, but were told we couldn't because it was within the 24 hour cancelation window, but we were given the assurance the captain wouldn't take us out if it was poor conditions. He did. He did!! We all knew it was too rough. We have eyes and read the report. We sailed to Molikini and we could not go in. As we knew!! Then he took us to turtle town. I feel like it was a money grab when the seas are rough and there are hurricane warnings...it should be an allowable reason to postpone to an alternate date. You could keep our money and let us go Saturday. Geez..What an utter shame. Murkey waters. No visibility. I'll book with another boat if we ever do it again. One that values the experience and safety. Pray my husband's sea sickness goes away soon. EDIT: Here's something important to note. If the water conditions aren't safe or if the weather makes the water murkey the experienced captain will cancel. I know that is stressful, but he wants us safe and to have the experience of a lifetime. THAT IS WHAT WE WERE TOLD, BUT IS NOT THE CASE.

Captain Michael and crew who led our "Discover Lanai" day were awesome! Super attentive, the food…read morewas abundant, the boat was very clean, and I felt safe out snorkeling even with a pretty big swell shift from the Hurricane. The details: Our tour started by meeting at tree at the Sheraton, which sounds awkward but for us was super convenient and it was fun boarding the sailboat from the beach but you will get a little wet! Captain Michael walks you though the day and then you are off for about ~90 minutes to Lanai. During that time you are served (not a buffet) two meals. The cinnamon rolls were great and the breakfast croissants are now something I make at home. There was also a photographer on board so we took advantage and took some family photos (you buy at the end and I found them a whole lot cheaper and less stress than an actual family shoot). Once you get to the Island you can take a golf cart or take a short walk to the beach where they have all the gear you need. After the safety briefing you have about 2 hours to snorkel with the crew serving as lifeguards in the water. It is VERY easy to lose where you are when you've got your head underwater. I appreciated how attentive the crew was to where the four of us were at since there were a few times we needed some gentle guidance out of a harms way (shoreline rocks). The photographer also captures your snorkel sesh. After snorkeling, you're treated to another full meal of noodles and chicken. Followed by anything you might need for a little seasickness to prep for the journey back . My 12 yo son was pretty full at this point and had befriended the captain who let him help get the boat ready for the return trip. That was very cool! The ride home was a bit bumpy (Hurricane Lowell was coming) but Captain Michael did a great job avoiding anything major and even found a pod of dolphins. We also enjoyed the mai tais! Great experience! We will book more tours in the future. I would have booked another snorkeling or sunset tour during this trip but the water quality really deteriorated with the upcoming storm.

The level of service exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel incredibly well taken care of throughout the cruise. The four-course meal was stellar and much better than we expected from food served on a boat. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and delicious. Between the incredible crew, exceptional service, wonderful food, beautiful ocean views, and Maui sunset, this was the perfect way to end our time in Maui. I really appreciated how they tried to maximize our time spent in the water and not just riding in the boat. It is a small tour (about 20 people max), so you never feel overly crowded on the boat or at the snorkeling sites. We were able to go to 3 different locations (Molokini crater, the reef in front of Molokini and a turtle cleaning station. We saw a ton of fish, a turtle or two, plus a cute little squid and three octopuses. Deckhands Kelly and Josh were outstanding! They were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. They definitely made our day! We would definitely book another trip with Seafire in the future. We spent about 5 1/2 hours out on the water heading to Molokini, turtle town, and the lava caves. The entire experience was absolutely incredible. The snorkeling spots were **sublime**, the scenery was unreal, and the crew was amazing. They were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole trip so much fun. But honestly... Captain Kanoe deserves his own five stars. His jokes were unparalleled, and he had us laughing the entire time. Even when I got a little too personally acquainted with the backside of Molokini , Captain Kanoe was ready with ginger chews, jokes, and enough encouragement to make everything okay again. And then there were the cookies. Thankfully, those were handed out AFTER I finished getting sick. All jokes aside, this was an absolutely beautiful, fun, informative, and unforgettable experience. The crew was fantastic, the snorkeling was incredible, and the whole trip had such a great energy. Would 100% recommend Blue Water Rafting to anyone visiting Maui. Just bring your swimsuit, sunscreen, and maybe a strong stomach. Captain Kanoe will handle the rest.

We recently went on a snorkel tour through BWR and the experience was o.k. A couple of things they…read moreneed to improve. First, they need a simple sign with company name/logo for when people arrive in the parking lot. Many other snorkel firms are there and it would be helpful for the tour operator to hold a sign to direct people arriving. Also, some reason the company website defaults to Turkish language. We had to go through Viator to book the tour because the website is in Turkish and we couldn't book direct. Lastly, what is up with the turkey sandwich in the morning ? The tour meets at 6:30 am and this not lunch time. Nobody ate the turkey sandwich so we all felt ripped off. Simple to have breakfast food and snacks. Please drop the morning turkey sandwich and get breakfast food.

We had the BEST time on the Sea Maui Sunset Cocktail Cruise! From the very beginning, the experience was wonderful. We called to book and spoke with Sunshine, who was exactly that -- an absolute ray of sunshine! She was so sweet, incredibly helpful, communicated everything clearly, and genuinely made us even more excited for the experience. When it was time to board, it was immediately clear that the crew knew exactly what they were doing. We visited during "hurricane" season, so the swells were definitely LARGE -- but that didn't stop us from having the time of our lives! Great music, amazing staff, fun fellow cruisers, drinks flowing, delicious food, and the most incredible Maui sunset. The vibes were absolutely immaculate from start to finish. Somewhere along the way, I also became the unofficial, official iPhone-ographer of the boat and ended up taking photos for sooo many people! One of my favorite things about the cruise was the crowd -- it was truly all ages, and ALL ages were awesome and an absolute pleasure to party with. We met so many genuinely nice people, including a group we clicked with so well that we decided to keep the night going afterward and ended up hanging out and doing karaoke together! That probably says everything you need to know about the fun, friendly, social atmosphere Sea Maui creates. We had such a great experience that I'm already excited to hopefully book a private charter with Sea Maui for our wedding welcome party next year! 10/10 experience. Highly recommend. The longtime keeper of the Maui Fish Pond is Uncle Kimokeo, he is a life long Maui resident who has dedicated himself to preserving the Fish Pond for future generations. You see the Fish Pond was built in the 1600's to create a safe haven for the local fish to spawn and grow. Uncle Kimokeo has maintained the Fish Pond walls using stone high atop Haleakala rebuilding the wall stone by stone. Uncle Kimokeo says he's is entrusted to preserve the Pond and the culture. To listen to him explain all the cultural lore was amazing. He took us out on a Double hull Canoe north and basically had the whole boats singing and chanting Hawaiian songs giving thanks for the permission on the water. The Maui Fish Pond takes out groups daily by appointment for a donation 69.00, consider your donation as a write off as the foundation is a non profit corp. these monies supports all of the upkeep, programs and Youth programs the foundations supports. You can park and soak up the last of the few rays of sun as it sets into the Pacific Ocean horizon. The Kihei boat ramp gives you the ideal spot to either watch from your mustang convertible or from pathway to the beach. I've spent many hours at the boat ramp in the evening gazing into the horizons. And I'll be back for more sunsets.
