Surf City Pools did an outstanding job replacing our pool pump. They went out of their way by recognizing and replacing old electrical system without needing to ask. They were responsive, punctual, professional and very friendly. We highly recommend them for your pool service needs. read more

This company services our community and promised amazing service prior to getting their contract. Upon receipt of their contract, they do not respond to calls from our management company or from anyone else. When they are on site, they are sitting under the umbrella on their phones. (Not work related when you scroll for more than 10 minutes). We are not all stupid to accept that garbage excuse. I personally requested they check on a particular issue that continues to occur on a daily and costing the community a lot of money. The issue is not resolved. If you are looking to throw away your money, this is the company for you. read more

this is in response to your response to my review. i never would have needed to write a negative review if you would have just responded to my request for help. it took the negative review to finally get a response from you. and yes you said you would service my filter at no charge but you charged me $450. to open my pool. it had a new liner so it was just a matter of taking off the tarp and putting the anchors away and filling the pool and adding chemicals. under normal circumstances most companies charge half the price. you were no bargain. read more

Delaney came out to find a leak in my pool/spa. I was very impressed with her attention to details in diagnosing my issues. I was equally impressed with how she kept a neophyte like me with what she was doing and what she was looking for. I learned a lot from her. She is very thoughtful and attentive to details. read more

Our HOA of 40 units uses Surf City. They are extremely responsive to text and emails when we need service or repair. Nicolas & Edward have helped us to maintain our pool and spa in excellent condition. The office staff is right on top of any issue we have. As a member of our HOA board we have agreed that they provide service and value and quick turn times. read more

Delaney claims I was at the pool yelling at her to the point that she had to leave the property. This is a perfect example of not only the incompetence, but also dishonesty this company holds in its low standard and low level of professionalism when you claim a customer living in a community as large as ours was at the pool yelling at you ,you should know who that person is what they look like, and be sure that it was them, I have actually gone in the time and labor of my companies website through our HR payroll department and received a full copy of my time punches for that day shows I was not even in the city of Oceanside, which is where the property is located upon reception of this false claims since it's not the first time she's done this I have asked for a copy in writing of the time when she was on site, nobody could get this from this vendor, therefore, how is it possible that you're being honest. This is the most dishonest and untruthful and definitely lowest performing pool company I have seen in our community in the 17 years I have lived here. I would recommend this company to no one For would definitely recommend running the other way, she can keep nothing working. She can't even put a pool light in correctly the first time and if she doesn't like someone in your community. She will make this false accusations without even been able to back them up. read more

I am so lucky I found them! It's Sunday and my husband is out on the fires in CA. My husband is my "pool guy," but the heat and him being gone, the pool started turning green fast! I don't want my husband to come back to MORE work. I called a few companies- no lucky- busy, don't work Sunday, referred me- blah blah....NOT Surf City Pools. They called back fast and I am thankful they were in the area and came out the same day...today! I was given honest information. They are coming out again Tuesday to check in on the pool. I have not enough words. I highly recommend this family business. Thank you Surf City Pools! You all are TOP NOTCH! Professional, fair pricing, quick to respond, helpful, and I will recommend you to anyone needing pool support. I am so grateful! read more

I'm very satisfied with the filter Dalanne installed for my oversized fountain. The fountain was a custom job installed in the model home prior to us purchasing it, and had many obscure parts/little info about its origin. Dalanne was very knowledgeable, thorough, and put in the work to find all the necessary specialty parts. I definitely recommend her services! read more

We couldn't be happier with our pool service. We have gone through countless prior pool services who are consistently unreliable, unprofessional and over priced. Outstanding pool maintenance service. Been with them over a year, and they do great work.

Surf City Pools has been amazing. We had been having issues with a reoccurring smell coming from our hot tub and Dalanne went over the entire hot tub to troubleshoot the issues. Since we brought Surf City Pools on our hot tub has been amazing working order and super clean. I highly recommend them! read more

Dalanne took the time to explain what was happening with my equipment and she made it seem less overwhelming. Maintaining a pool as a new pool owner can be a little scary but she helped me understand what I can do as a homeowner which was very helpful. I'm so glad I found this company, just one less worry for me! read more

Needed someone to drain and clean a 500 spa and was recommended to call here. Dalanne was amazing! She arrived within the 1 hour window she promised and kept me updated beforehand when she would arrive. Once she arrived she did an amazing job cleaning the spa. Me and my wife were extremely unhappy with Dalanne's pool service. She said every other week that something was broken and had to charge us extra. Even though we had changed out and updated our entire pool cleaning system only a year ago. Also, she makes you pay for the month of service before you even receive the service. read more

Our experience with Dalanne was terrible. She did not do the job we paid her for. And didn't show up for our pool cleaning service many times. I would not recommend her to anyone. read more

Surf City is the first pool service we have so far and never changed since then, they are cheaper than others who offer the same service. They are honest and always give the proper suggestions. They always informed in advanced if anything need to be noticed and shows up within 1 hr window every week. Good service! read more
