I thought I wrote a review about here years ago, but I don't see it. This is a dishonest company. They are much better service side than sales, but the trouble is that it's one company. I would give the sales team a rating below 0 if I could. It's nothing but lies and manipulative sales practices on that end. They are disgusting. I'd give service a three if they weren't a part of the same company as the sales team. I settled on rating Suresky a two. I have had issues with service, but this team isn't remotely as horrendous as Midas, for example. I've never wondered if they were making up issues or maybe even causing them. This dealership's work has never made me feel unsafe to drive. The car has yet to make new noises or feel out of wack before I can even pull out of the parking lot. I don't return within days with a list of new problems. The mechanics themselves seem to know their jobs. But it is a struggle to get even a recall attended to. The comments about them claiming not to have the parts each visit are accurate. If you try to be proactive and call to make sure the part is in before showing up for the appointment, it's as if they get offended. You end up transferred from department to department. Get tired of phone tag and just show up and you'll see they don't have the part again. This is just one example of bad communication. They just don't communicate well as a company. I've noticed that sometimes the mechanics are confused about why the car is there because the issue wasn't communicated to them, and they couldn't find anything upon inspection. They'll get the work done once they call to speak to you, but it might not be that day. Things like that makes life difficult for a one car family with a peculiar schedule. The frustrating part is that simple communication would nix the issue. Actual work is usually fine. Good luck when it isn't, but that's typical for the industry. The rare problem doesn't seem intentional, so I'm okay with here until I can find a shop with equal skill but better communication. I will say Suresky is surprisingly accommodating for emergencies. They are probably the best in the area that I've found in regards to that. read more

Third time scheduling a recall appointment because every other time I showed up the day of to be told they did not have the part. No one could call me the day prior so I didn't drive in for an appointment I don't have? 8:45 appointment. Jeep dropped off at 7:30am. I call at 12 and my Jeep was next and would be done soon. At 2:45 I called to check as I needed my vehicle, I was told someone would call me back. At 330 no one called me back. Finally at 4 my Jeep was ready. The person who drove me to pick it up laughed and told me it had been sitting out front since they came back from their lunch at 1. read more

DO NOT GO HERE PERIOD. My cars within warranty, has a TSB for a code P219A. I took it to a quality shop, Freemans in Monroe, and was told that they cannot fix it due to the Technical Service Bulletin and it had to go to the dealership. Called and gave them the info to set up an appointment and was told "there is a $295 diagnostics fee." For a car that is under warranty and HAS a TSB which means Jeep knows about it? I know that time is not free but a repair, under warranty with a TSB is charged a diagnostic fee. Ridiculous read more

Not impressed at all with quality of work, salesmanship and service for my Jeep. Only one key was given to me (salesman stated he would order it and call me next week and never did to even follow up), car wasn't detailed properly and I found Amazon return slips under seat from previous owner, used dental floss under the drivers and passenger side seats. I got caught in snow and wipers don't work but yet they said it's certified pre owned and everything was great. Car was sold to me on empty, and barely made it back to work with the gas light coming on. Text the salesman and was told it's not a new vehicle so they are not required to fill the tank. Have to love customer service. Not impressed with how things went at all. Also advised salesman that I do my work on my vehicle and didn't want any extra added on and $2700 was added on for warranty that I didn't authorize. Did catch it in time and was asked if I had enough time she would take it off but I was already running late for something that I was told was all set and ready for pickup. When they tell you the car you purchase from them has warranty for a 100,000 miles if anything goes wrong with the motor they will fix it,however if you Don't have them do your oil change and do the maintenance on it they don't honor thier word. Even if you have proof of oil changes, We did two of the changes of the oil throughout the two years we had the car ,however they denied to fix our car when their was an issue with the camshaft pin it cost us out of pocket $4300.00 six weeks later before we got the car back. I can't trust the words from thier mouth anymore, Me and my wife had only bought cars from them the past 30 years, never again or will I recommend them to anyone and I sure will let everyone know my experience, so thier eyes will be open to the false 100,000 mile warranty they offer. Third purchase from Suresky over the years at least! We ordered this vehicle to our specifications & could not be more pleased. Our original salesperson left in the interim but the transition was seamless with Dustin's oversight - Gabriel brought it to the finish line! Our trade in value's (2) were more than fair for the changing market conditions & upon learning my husband was a Combat Veteran, we received an additional discount we didn't even seek! We had an extended warrantee on a trade (also Mopar) - Tony handled the cancellation/switch with a few keystrokes - something that would have taken me SOOO LONNGG on the phone. I got 3 cars from this dealership and while their sales department is phenomenal, I unfortunately have to use their service department to service my cars. Brought my car in for a check engine light and was called later and told I have a flat tire but not to worry because they have a buy 3 get one free deal. I told them I have the tire and rim warranty but they said it wouldn't be covered and the flat didn't happen there. (When I left it I had no low tire pressure lights) The floor outside the service garage is littered with screws, not to mention the mechanic then left his greasy hands on my door and trunk and didn't even have the professionalism to put my tools back after using them. AVOID THE SERVICE DEPT AT ALL COST. They keep telling me a manager will get in touch with me but it's been about a week and still nothing. Take your business elsewhere. This service department was a headache from start to end. My car sat on the lot for 2 weeks due to a check engine light. In the meantime I racked up $600 in car rental fees. When they finally looked at the car, they said they had cleared the check engine light when they brought the car in and there was nothing they could do. 2 weeks and $600 wasted due to their negligence. When I went to pick the car up, they tried to charge me $150. For what? I spoke to the service manager, Tony, who actually has his head on straight and he rectified the $150 fee. My new leased overland hybrid jeep has been operating fine. However I got a notice from Chrysler that there could be a problem with the steering wheel joint so I called service to schedule an appointment . Service told me that they could not make an appointment for me and I was in effect BANNED from the dealership. This was obviously because due to the honest review I wrote about my last Jeep lemon from Suresky. Not only have they screwed me once but screwed me twice. They obviously have no conscience when it comes to treatment of past customers! This had to come from upper management who appears to be quite vindictive and without a shred of professioinalism. Over the years I purchased and leased at least 6 jeeps from Suuresky and if they had just done the right thing from the beginning I would not be writing this review. Read before purchasing here!!! Went into Suresky Jeep Dodge in Goshen, Ny to purchase a used 2022 Dodge Rebel. My family has purchased multiple cars from here (one being this past week) with no issues. We had a deal and I went to my bank and got a cashiers check and also had the insurance put on the truck. I went to pick it up today to be told that it had damage to the front hood and that they do not know how it happened. It did not matter to me that there was a dent and a cracked front grill I just wanted them to fix it or give me a discount of some kind and I would get it fixed. They went into a meeting for over an hour and they called me back to let me know that they were going to fix the truck and put it back on the market for MORE money terminating our deal. They said I could purchase the truck in the showroom for over a hundred dollars more a month with an extra 12 months added to the financing. To say that Suresky is extremely greedy and unethical company is an understatement and I do not recommend anyone to go there. If I could give them zero stars I would and this is my second review in 54 years. read more

One license plate light on my 2019 Jeep Compass fell out due to a broken tab that holds it in place. Went to get a replacement (under warranty) and was told that it will be a week and a half to get an appointment to "get the car in for diagnostics", and about two hours' time to fix the issue". I offered to replace the light myself; there's no reason that this should take so long. Service rep wasn't hearing anything I was asking. Instead, bought the $23 light myself and installed it. Completely terrible, I brought my 2020 ram 2500 to them because the truck was drastically pulling to the right. I dropped the truck off the night before the appt (930 am the next day.) when I called to check the status later afternoon on apt day I was told it was not looked At yet. When I asked when it would be and why was there a 945 apt. I was told by service advisor that he has 70 trucks that need to be looked at but does not have 70 mechanics. I was also told the apt was for him to check the vehicle in. It to be looked at.. When asked if it would be looked at that day I was told .. I Hope .... After a few hours I was called by the service advisor, claimed they repaired a track bar But. I left the dealer and drove right back. I took a test drive with a mechanic and he told me it can't be fixed, it's a problem with every 2500 and above ram he has worked on In Last 25 years. Service advisor told me not to take hands off wheel and there will not be a problem. I was charged and told to contact chrysler If I had a further problem I emailed both general manager and service manager with no return contact. I contacted Chrysler , they send me to another dealer who said the repairs they claones they fixed was not the issue. THEY CHARGE FOR WORK that does not need to be done!!!! Go elsewhere !! as for the ram it's still not fixed so beware, as per Suresky all rams 2500 and above have an issue where they pull to the right and can not be fixed mechanically. Place is a joke. Brought my 2019 Ram with 40,000 miles for the sixth time. This time for a bad ac. Said it needs a new ac compressor. Would be in the shop in a week and a half. It's two weeks today so I contacted them yesterday to see what's going on. Advisor called me back this morning and told me it's two weeks out. So at Suresky it takes a month to get a fairly common part to the dealer. So I asked for a loaner. THey said we aren't sure your warranty covers it. They should be covering it. An ac shouldn't take over a month to fix. It's obvious they forgot to order the part or they are inept. Or maybe both. read more

Stay Clear of this dealership! Management and service are horrible. I purchased a Jeep Rubicon Recon edition (2018) and only serviced at dealerships. The front tires are completely worn out and choppy. I was first told they recommended tire rotation but I didn't do it (Lie) then I was told they did rotate the tires twice! (Another Lie). There is no way if the Jeep has no issues (Suspension) that the tires should be worn. FYI back tires just fine (They never rotated the tires) A previous issue was a coolant leak, it took multiple visits to the dealership and in the end I had to find the leak for them (Professional?). We also have a jeep patriot, had it serviced at there, they recommended brakes and air cleaner. I didn't have the time that day so I took it to Warwick jeep a few days later...... Surprise Surprise... It didn't need brakes (70% life on the pads) and the air cleaner looked like new. We have purchased 5 jeeps from them and have always serviced them there, the past year the attitude and level of service has diminished and the business practices are shady at best. Had a wonderful experience with suresky .They where by far one of the most friendly and easy to deal with dealerships. I came in to purchase a 2018 dodge ram big horn. I dealt with paul N and john V they where great people to deal with very friendly and knowledgeable a pleasure working with all around. We came up with a comfortable deal rather quickly and i had loan papers drawn up. I was very pleased and extremely excited. Unfortunately the deal fell thru AT NO FAULT of suresky or anybody else involved. Insurance rates doubled in my particular situation and unforeseen circumstance on my end unfortunately. Even though we where unable to finalize the deal i feel it very necessary to send praise and appreciation to paul and john for all there hard work. I wish it ended up differently. I wanted to begin my review by acknowledging that a Chrysler Crossfire is not a common sight. If you're not familiar, this is a rear wheel drive coupe manufactured by Chrysler primarily with Mercedes SLK components. This vehicle had a limited run, and I most definitely understand that not every dealership may have the same level of familiarity. With that being said, it does not excuse the lack of honesty and respect that I experienced here at this facility. To begin the story, I reached out to Suresky in October 2018 in regards to a no-start issue with my car. I was put through to the Service Department, where Doug assured me that my vehicle could be assessed as they have experience with Crossfires. I was told that their standard protocol is to first perform a 1 hour diagnostic test, totaling $130.00. I was also assured that I would be notified after this was completed, to discuss their findings and to also confirm if I wanted to proceed with a potential fix. My car was towed in that evening with promise it would be looked at the next day. After a few days of silence, I called and left a voicemail for the Service Department asking for them to return my call with an update. Unfortunately, I was given the runaround for the majority of that week. That is until Doug contacted me, and advised that they are very busy and hopefully it will be looked at soon. At the end of the week on Friday, I received an interesting phone call from Jason L. First, he told me that the diagnostic process took longer than anticipated; 4 hours total to be exact equaling $520.00. This is not the "standard protocol" that was reiterated to me before my vehicles arrival. In fact, I was never notified that more diagnostic time was needed. Mind you, asking for payment on unauthorized work is an illegal action as per the NY Department of Motor Vehicles: "A shop may not perform any services unless you give your permission." "If the DMV investigation indicates the shop violated the Repair Shop Act or regulations, DMV will either send a warning letter to the shop or schedule a hearing. If a hearing determines there were violations, DMV will take action against the shop. This may include suspending or revoking the shop's registration and/or imposing fines." After I am told about the diagnostic fee, Jason says that the news on my car "isn't good." It's showing code 207108- a security system issue. According his mechanic, the skreem module, key fobs, powertrain control module, relay control module, and the lock cylinder will need to be replaced. The total cost just in parts? $5,496.00 Shocked at this fix, I asked Jason why all of those components need to be replaced. He tells me "All of these parts work in unison within the security system, and must be replaced at the same time in order for your car to start." To me, this sounds like a sad attempt a shotgun diagnosis. Although I know that I would never agree to this fix, I tell him that I'll have to think about it. At this point, it's 10AM and he begins rushing me to make a quick decision by saying "I need to know by noon today so I can order the parts from Germany! We can have it by early next week!" I'm still not convinced at this point and he recognizes it. That's when his tone changes and he says "I'm soooo sorry sweetie. But I hope you realize that nobody wants to buy a car that doesn't run." Sweetie? Using my name, Emily, would have been sufficient. Not that it could make that asinine statement sound any less patronizing. The weekend is over, and my dad and I drive to the dealership on that Monday with plans to tow my car out. We are immediately met in the parking lot by Jason. He recaps the situation again, and I finally tell him that I'm not interested in fixing my car. I told him that I would pay the 1 hour diagnostic fee of $130.00 and leave. He immediately became defensive and told me that I have to pay for 4 hours of work. My dad also told him that 1 hour is fair, since that's what I confirmed. He blurted out "Well my mechanic needs to be paid!" and then proceeded to stomp away yelling "That's it, I'm calling the police right now!" The owner, Joseph Suresky, heard the commotion from inside and immediately came out to see what was going on. I calmly explained the situation in great detail, and ultimately he agreed that it is wrong to force me to pay for unauthorized work. He had the front desk make me a bill to reflect payment of $130.00. After I paid, Mr. Suresky advised that he didn't think it could be fixed, because there is no way around replacing the whole security system. I thanked him for his time and left. I'm delighted to share that after some persistence, my car is back on the road. This "sweetie" figured out what part needed to be replaced. Suresky CDJR, feel free to contact me. Absolutely the most unreliable and unprofessional Jeep Service Center in the Hudson Valley. So I took my car in for a right side strut repair. I was told after two times of calling for some type of diagnosis that the issue was common and there just trying to figure out which option (A or B) is best on how to fix the issue and availability of parts. I was reassured the issue would be repaired by the next day and be ready for pick up. The next day I call in the service rep I dealt with isn't working Saturdays and I was told by a different service rep that have no idea what wrong with the vehicle and a master tech said I can come pick it up. I explained I was already given a diagnosis of my vehicle and that it was common and will be repaired by the next day. This service rep said she has no notes on the vehicle unfortunately and isn't aware of my issue. I asked to speak to a supervisor and of course he was not available. In a nut shell my car sat there for 2 days with no work done to it after I was told if would be fixed. No type of reconciliation from there supervision. HORRIBLE Jeep Service Center! read more

UPDATED 9/8: So, got my new $52,000 Overland home and the next morning while putting on the tow hitch cover, there is a damage on the rear bumper under the trim piece. Barely visible, but hit enough so the trim won't stay locked in place. My salesman John told me since I left the dealership it was out of his hands and I needed to speak to his sales manager Victor Hayden. That was 10 days ago, and after leaving 3 messages for Mr. Hayden, I have not received a return call. You know, it's very easy to make a sale, but difficult to keep a customer with people that don't care. Great experience buying and financing the car, but no one gives a crap after they get your money. Through my business friends and family we buy lots of cars, but no more from this dealership. He treated both of us with respect, valued our time, and ultimately got The job done... I went in to see the new lineup of vehicles for Dodge... Suresky has a terrific selection of Chargers and Challengers... that makes shopping easy opposed to have one or two choices... I saw the car of my dreams and worked out the best deal... Matt was great during this process... Then, Richard Brown put the icing on the cake... He got the payments and the best car on the lot to come home with me... My trade met and exceeded my expectations... Overall, The dealership proved once again how much they valued my business... I highly recommend them for the best selection anywhere but more importantly, as a customer, I did my homework, and they met me extremely fairly.. Finance was great too... I brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a routine oil change & some issues we were having. My rep Mary Valdez told me there would be a diagnostic charge to look into the issues we were having & the charge would be applied to the repair & gave me a form to sign ... DO NOT SIGN THIS FORM! When given the bill I was charged DOUBLE what I'd paid 3 months prior for my oil change & $110 for the diagnostic fee with no repair done. When I fought the charges Mary apologized but told me they had used a different type of oil then last time without any notice or authorization from me and the diagnostic fee was policy & she brought up the form she had me sign. This from was presented and reads that the charge would go toward a repair .. why would any one agree to pay something when NOTHING WAS REPAIRED. She said she'd speak with a manager & have them call me ..no one called! When I called to follow up the manager Sid Lewin knew nothing about my concerns. This dealership is misleading & dishonest!
