I've been to doctor's in the past that are in such a hurry they are thinking about the next customer rather than the one they are working with. At Dr. Kim's office you'll find the opposite. Their staff schedules appointments with a good time gap allowing them to gather themselves before the next patient. So far I have had 6 cavities, all filled by Dr. Kim. None of bothered me after that. Also I have had my teeth cleaned twice, and I'll tell you that I have pearly white teeth afterwards both times! The best part about this dentist office is they don't try to uncharged you. I was in between on whether or not I should buy dental insurance and waiting 6 months before I had my cavities filled. Dr. Kim did not try to persuade me to have them filled at my first visit, but just told me to come back when I was ready. That was great because you would imagine the doctor to force you to get it filled so they can make some quick transactions! That let me know immediately that is a dentist with morals and ethics! I find the staff pleasant and kind, and it's awesome that the dentists and their children are part of our Dunwoody community, going to Dunwoody schools and participating in area sports. As an adult patient, I felt welcomed. I could choose anything on Netflix to watch on the ceiling during my cleaning. Things ran on schedule. And when I returned to get two small cavities filled by Dr. Starnes, it went well with no issues. My estimated prepaid amount for the fillings was a bit higher than my portion ended up being with insurance, but they contacted me promptly to issue a credit back to my credit card. My boys have been to other pediatric dentist offices under our prior insurance plan that were not as patient and kind. This was their best experience by far. The Whole Tooth has new, current equipment, which was especially great for my 8 year old with sensitivity issues because the panoramic x-ray doesn't hurt at all and the bitewing inserts were smaller and softer, so they caused a lot less discomfort. He hated his prior bite wing x-ray experiences so much that he cried when it was time to go to the dentist. But no more! Dr Bongiovi and the hygienist took extra care to show him and let him know about everything they were doing and the tools being used, which helped his nerves a lot. They were patient and kept checking in with him to make sure he was doing ok. Lots of flavors of toothpaste for the kids to choose from, my oldest really liked the marshmallow flavor. And there's a fun prize machine to use their great visit tokens to select their prizes.
