I find the staff pleasant and kind, and it's awesome that the dentists and their children are part of our Dunwoody community, going to Dunwoody schools and participating in area sports. As an adult patient, I felt welcomed. I could choose anything on Netflix to watch on the ceiling during my cleaning. Things ran on schedule. And when I returned to get two small cavities filled by Dr. Starnes, it went well with no issues. My estimated prepaid amount for the fillings was a bit higher than my portion ended up being with insurance, but they contacted me promptly to issue a credit back to my credit card. My boys have been to other pediatric dentist offices under our prior insurance plan that were not as patient and kind. This was their best experience by far. The Whole Tooth has new, current equipment, which was especially great for my 8 year old with sensitivity issues because the panoramic x-ray doesn't hurt at all and the bitewing inserts were smaller and softer, so they caused a lot less discomfort. He hated his prior bite wing x-ray experiences so much that he cried when it was time to go to the dentist. But no more! Dr Bongiovi and the hygienist took extra care to show him and let him know about everything they were doing and the tools being used, which helped his nerves a lot. They were patient and kept checking in with him to make sure he was doing ok. Lots of flavors of toothpaste for the kids to choose from, my oldest really liked the marshmallow flavor. And there's a fun prize machine to use their great visit tokens to select their prizes. Oh, and leave a bit of time at the end, there's even a game room part of the waiting area with video game machines. Highly recommend for adults and kids!

BEWARE! When I called to make my first appt., I asked, "Do you accept Dental Dental?" The woman…read moreresponded, "yes". According to my policy, my plan, should have covered 100% of the cost, but when I received my EOB, it only covered 80%. I called the office to investigate and the woman who answered the phone was the same woman who scheduled that first appt. and she said, "We accept and file it but we are not in network". That is very different from "Yes. We accept it". Not being in network, meant that I would be responsible for a greater portion of the bill. I feel as if I was purposely misled to get a new patient on the books. I was going to transfer my care to Dr. Hedlund as he was very pleasant, took his time and the staff was all very nice but given the circumstances, I probably will not.

So much love for this place! THANK YOU!

The care provided was thorough (X-rays, photos, 3D imaging, cleaning, exam) but also gentle. I never felt in pain or uncomfortable. It was also nice to have a hygienist who examined my gums without shouting out numbers and stabbing me, and there were no condescending lectures - just good care and pleasant conversation. Dr. Patel was also very pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable and seemed to be genuinely interest in what was best for me. Upon leaving I was given a nice welcome gift of not only the standard tooth brush, toothpaste and lip balm but also a cool tumbler. So glad I found this practice - so, Much better than the last place I went to!

The office is above Haven restaurant and has plenty of free parking in the back lot. An elevator takes you right to the front entrance on the second floor. All of the employees are super friendly. I had two separate visits. My first visit was for X-rays and a dental cleaning. My second visit was for a filling to be replaced. Dr. Menendez and the dental technician were awesome. They clearly explained what was covered by my Cigna insurance and what work would be done. I'm extremely happy with the cleaning and my new filling. I don't have any sensitivity to hot or cold beverages and the filling blends well with my teeth. I highly recommend this dental office!

So disappointed and now very angry. We trusted Restoration Dental with our family's dental care for…read moreyears. They kept telling us that our children needed a special toothpaste to remineralize their teeth to avoid cavities, but every 6 months they needed multiple fillings, sometimes multiple sides on a tooth. One child had so many fillings (10-12 teeth) that I finally called to check which teeth had gotten done before. Some teeth had been done more than once, but they told me they were different spots on the same tooth. My youngest was leaving for college last year and yet again they told us he had 3 teeth with cavities, but they could "squeeze" him in right then. That way he could be done before he left for college. We took care of them. Those three teeth were $1042. Fast forward, he returns from college, goes for his cleaning and now he has 3 more teeth with cavities at an estimated cost o $975. He was home for summer, so they scheduled him for a while later. Luckily for us, we moved and found another dentist near our new home. We forwarded his records to the new dentist and scheduled an appointmemt to take care of the 3 teeth that had multiple cavities. My son went to the appointment and came home in less than 30 minutes. The dentist looked at his X-rays, took new ones and said they did not see any cavities! In fact they looked at the cavities that had been filled PREVIOUSLY on the X-rays and said they would not have filled most of them. They showed him and me what to look for on an X-ray, so we could see for ourselves. Going to Restoration Dental cost us thousands of dollars in unnecessary fillings. Nevermind the trauma that my children had to endure with getting shots and further tooth damage for the unnecessary drilling that was done to "clean out" nonexisting cavities. Now my children have the good fortune of looking forwards to possibly having these unnecessary fillings weaken their teeth over time and potentially cause broken teeth, more painful procedures and bigger bills as they get older. I have attached a copy of the last estimate for my son (look how many more teeth they were "watching"). LET ME REPEAT THAT THE NEW DENTIST DID NOT SEE ONE ISSUE THAT WAS ON THE ESTIMATE, AND LOOKED AT HIS PREVIOUSLY FILLED CAVITIES AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT HAVE FILLED MOST OF THEM. If you choose to go to this dentist, don't trust what they say, have them prove it to you. Btw, I noticed there is another review complaining of the same thing. This practice should refund my money and pay me for damaging my children's teeth. I am trying to see where I can legally report them.
