This place is great! The restaurant dining area is standard, the place is clean, and I haven't actually dined in just takeout so I can't really speak on the service. The food though, is excellent! I usually get either a Chicken or Beef Shawarma wrap, and let me tell you, this meat is delectable. Really just tender, savory and juicy. They don't put too much sauce in the wrap so it doesn't get soggy or have pockets of just sauce. The tahini sauce is SO good. The wraps are pretty good sized, one fills me up. At about $10 for the wrap, the price is just right in my opinion. The front counter is always friendly and quick! read more

Second time we ordered to go. Great falafel, Shawarma, and gyros. The baklava are small be really good: Honey, not sugary. The salad is good. Sizes are appropriate. A little shy on the tomato, cumber, and olives, for my taste. But the lettuce is crisp, the onion is fresh, and the dressing is good. I suggest getting the dressing on the side unless you like a lot of dressing. We will definitely go back!!!! Haven't tried the kebabs yet but they smell amazing. read more

Was super excited to try this place. Reviews were good and food looked amazing. I got there 5 min before opening and already 6 people in line. Good sign. Doors Didn't open until 5 after 11 Ordered the Gyro Supreme plate even asked the girl at the counter if I could sub salad for the fries she said no problem. I said good been really wanting the Greek salad and I can't eat fries. 30 min later my number was called. I double checked my order and they gave me the Gyro Plate not the Supreme. The plain Gyro plate comes with Rice and humus which I also didn't want. She took it back and apologized and said she rang up the plain Gyro plate not the Supreme. (Same price) She gave it back to the cook he then remade it and bagged and handed it to me. I asked him. Is the salad in place of the fries. He said yes. So no fries ...yes again. So shame on me for not checking cause I took his word for it. Get back to work and no salad...fries. I get it that they were busy but when you have to check and double check...even triple check and wait over 30 min for an order its not worth it in my book. Delicious. This is a small gem on the Chandler/Tempe border. Great falafel, fried crispy with a light tasty center. This is some of the better falafel we have had. The chicken shawarma is also very flavorful and moist with great seasoning and more than a typical dry chicken. We arrived at 6:30 on a Friday night with a long line. We ordered and took a seat at a table. We didn't mind the moderate wait for our tasty food. The owner was very considerate and noticed the wait and gave us free Lentil Soup. It was quite nice. My food typically comes with delicious soup that I did not order. Hospitality lives! Ali, the owner, does a high volume of business but makes customers feel like they are all his favorites. He's certainly one of mine. And when a restaurant that serves Iraqi street food attracts loads of Arabic-speaking customers, you know the food is the real deal. So far, service is personal yet fast. We met the owner walking into the business and he was very friendly. I can guarantee you that the food here will not only fill you but also taste delicious. My wife and I ended up having the Chicken Shawarma Plate that we shared, along with two lentil soups, stuffed grape leaves and the chicken shawarma wrap (to go) The stuffed grape leaves were great, moist, very tasty and a great way to start the meal and experience. The lentil soups were so creamy and seasoned well, just the right size to get you ready for the main course! The shared Chicken Shawarma Plate was a big winner here. Not only were the portions large, the seasoned rice with turmeric I believe was delicious along with the salad and humus with pita. The real star of the fish was the chicken shawarma, it really was Supreme! The taste was unique to Iraq and very authentic. The to go Chicken Shawarma Wrap ended up having a bite by my wife before we left the restaurant. She was in love with this and couldn't believe how amazing the garlic sauce was, she wished she had two! Finally something important for any restaurant, customer service. They went above and beyond to be friendly and inviting, the owner is an amazing person that truly cares about his business and the experience of the customers. First of all, the place looks and smells like it's cleaned on the minute every minute -- bathroom too. Cleanliness in a restaurant matters a lot but especially during covid and flu season. Can't stand it when you ask for direction and someone gives you 5 options. At this point I'm growing more impressed with each minute that passes. As I sit down at a table that they just sanitized/cleaned for me (w/o me having to ask) I realize the music that is playing is chill lounge music. Great vibe. That same gentleman walks over with a cup of lentil soup on the house that was delicious and reminded me of my grandma's lentil soup that I was raised on. I'm beginning to glow at this point Then my beef shawarma wrap arrives and the presentation is beautiful, the size is perfect, and you can taste the high quality ingredients. The meat is perfection. On the outside, it looks like any schwarma place, but don't be fooled. Food is great! When we were waiting for our food, they gave a bowl of their lentil soup. Yummy! White pepper, giving it a kick. The fries are awesome. They coat it in something, and it has a crunch and doesn't need ketchup. it tastes good in their sauce when you have kabob. I tried it on a whim. I had the meal, but was able to substitute the salad for the fries. I'm hooked. The bathrooms are clean and fresh smelling. They took the time to decorate it a bit w/ plants. Ordered the kefta plate and chicken shawarma wrap. So first, small place and it was packed so we were more focused on making sure we got a seat than the menu or what we ordered. Mistake number 1. The person at the register, while nice didn't seem to have muck knowledge of the menu so questions weren't really answered. Mistake number 2. Because there was a line behind us and questions were going unanswered we ordered as noted earlier. Mistake number 3. Shawarma wrap shows up pretty quickly. Keflavik plate shows up about 10 minutes later. Not really happy but it is what it is. As for the food, it was ok, possibly approaching good but overall the experience was a bit disappointing.
