Wow this is some good stuff better than any donut place in carson.. The drinks are yummy ... I'll see you soon ;)

They have an ATM machine as well

I'm giving them a 4 for lots of reasons, but they have to keep the windows to the donut area closed because there was a fly in there landing on every donut which caused me not to get a donut. Tgey keep the front door open as people are constantly in and out so flies and insects are bound to enter, bit they should monitor this better. They have an A rating, so I trusted that their back kitchen area was clean and ordered freshly cooked food instead. So here's why I still have them a 4: 1. Food- ordered the Ham cheese egg bacon and (added ham) croissant. The croissant is freshly baked and omg it's excellent! The eggs are cooked flat like an omelet and folded into the sandwich. Ham is not grilled just placed on the egg and bacon cooked well and cheese not melted so let the sand which sit wrapped while warm for a bit so that the cheese can melt. I'd come here again, maybe not go out of my way, but if here during breakfast hours and have a breakfast sandwich craving, I'm coming here. Fairly priced. Large sandwich as well. Photo only shows one half of the sand which. Didn't get the donuts but the plain glazed and plain glazed twists looked moist and fresh. 2. Lotto- apparently this is a local lotto hot spot. I just picked up in that as I was there because many people came and went all buying lotto tickets or playing while sitting inside. They have the TV screen up too fir playing. Apparently this is a whole culture I'm not hip too lol bit many people that are a part of it were there! Lotto was $415NM that day so I bought one for everyone living and dead in my immediate family which is more than 10. I'll let y'all know if we won lol! 3. Seating - if you want to sit indoors they're open and allowing people to do so. They have about 6 table that seat 4 each so plenty of room and there were only three people sitting while I was there. 4. Parking is easy. Typical shopping plaza lot with lots of parking. This is across the street from the mall on Avalon just at the 405 so easy freeway access as well. 5. Service- the two women working were super nice and very communicative about the status of my order. I see some old reviews from 8 Mos to 2-3-5+ years ago. I experienced no negativity whatsoever. These guys deserve a better rating despite the fly issue. I'd just come early in the day and get my donuts fresh before the flies wake up lol! Lastly, the outdoor signage reads Donuts Supreme, but the actual name is reversed, Supreme Donuts. They had to adjust the sign from years past as the shopping plaza expanded so the sign worked best this way even though it doesn't read as it is actually named. Sharing so you don't get confused like I did lol!

Donuts are okay. Flavor is a little bland and the texture is dense. The chocolate icing was flaky and falling off the donut.

The atmosphere feels so homey with the elderly people just sitting around and enjoying each other's company, playing the lotto.

I don't remember if he called it US DONUTS like it is nowadays, but that's what I remember about this spot growing up, so it already holds a lot of local nostalgia. As years gone by to this day, the newer owners through the years have pimped it out with different decors, ice creams, sandwiches, Lotto, etc.. It still feels like the old mixed in with a new school Asian-owned donut shops, minus the classic smoking inside by the owners and older folks like in the 80s. The parking is always in free abundance as it always has been before. The donuts themselves have actually improved because there's a little more variety along with the classics, plus their donuts taste wayyyy healthier and lighter while not losing flavor! Not as oily as it used to be by past owners! I personally love their crumb and blueberry donuts because they have that delicious texture that turns to fluffiness in the middle. Customer service has always been awesome. Nowadays, instead of an old lady or old man, you have a younger pretty lady helping you with your order. The place isn't too big or small, plus you it's cool to get a donut here after getting a Starbucks or some foods nearby in this same stripmall. It's like a perfect spot for some classic, homely desserts!

I've had a sandwich made once, and, I remember the croissant being wonderfully buttery and flaky. Their croissants are huge! By 10am, there was only 1 person working. I didn't have to wait in line. There are only a few tables here. It's best to take your food to-go.

During my freebies birthday run yesterday, I was planning on going to Old Ferry Donut after picking up a boba next door, only to find the shop closed. \(`0´)/ Known for unique flavors & vibrant retro-pop 70s branding (cute hamster mascot with bold orange & brilliant blue colors; it's featured on 2-/4-donut boxes), this Korean-inspired premium donut shop originated in Seoul a decade ago before expanding to several S. CA locations, opening in Torrance a couple of years ago. OFD's donuts are popular for its rich creams & chewy dough; Butter Pistachio & Crème Brûlée are just 2 of their signature flavors. I was going through a donut phase when I initially stopped by Old Ferry Donut. Large windows let lots of light in, & once you step across the threshold, you're hit with a strong K-pop vibe & loud music. They even had a collab with SEVENTEEN last fall during their tour with 2 flavors: Marble Strawberry & Blue Coconut! Unlike the regular mom & pop's or commercialized donut shops, they don't offer a discounted 1/2 or full dozen box. After asking what's their most popular picks, I chose Butter Pistachio & Crème Brûlée, & added Lemon Poppyseed & Raspberry Ring for myself, Cookies & Cream & Boston Cream for the kiddos. Service was alright... I didn't need a sales pitch, but would like some info on the donuts to make an informed decision since they're at a premium price even though they're not "freshly made" (every hour or less) like SD&C just down the street. The Butter Pistachio is a major hit... fluffy & light, a slightly chewy yeasty donut stuffed with a mildly sweet whipped pistachio cream filling & topped with a salty-sweet buttery streusel... how can you not be addicted? And totally worth it! Crème Brûlée is also popular for its delicate, crackly caramelized sugar crust & airy brioche dough that's filled with a rich vanilla custard. Good flavor, but maybe on the older side? Since it's been sitting for awhile, it lost that fresh fluffy texture & was kinda dry. I really liked the Lemon Poppyseed; it's right up there with Butter Pistachio. The lemon glaze is just the right amount of sweet & tart, & the donut was fresh & fluffy! The Raspberry Ring is pretty good, matching that sweet & tart of Lemon Poppyseed, but I like the citrus zing of the latter more. What's different is the former has a raspberry jam filling in addition to a glaze & the latter is just a yeast donut with fruity glaze. Kids didn't say much about Cookies & Cream & Boston Cream... I figure you can't go wrong with these flavors. The filling might have been a bit much as I saw the cream oozing out of the donut & onto my LO's face & shirt. His sister was slightly better at containing the custard blob. LOL With premium prices, It's debatable if Old Ferry's donuts are worth it... quality, freshness, & size. Hmmm... I like them & their creative flavors, but they're a tad too sweet & not as "fresh" in comparison to SD&C. Sad to see Old Ferry Donut permanently gone from the South Bay, but they still have locations in San Gabriel & Buena Park if you're willing to take a drive.
