I give a 5 for quality but 1 for the customer service and the drive to want to run a business and earn money. Nice clean place with big TV's . This is a great busy location and I'm sure they get a ton of business. It can seem like it got to their heads. I don't think they pick up their work phone after 4 on Fridays and Saturdays. I walked in twice figuring they only do walk-ins with about 3 people working and 1 person waiting and they turned me down. I tried making an appointment but no one would answer. I don't get it, my hair is pretty short. All I need is a shave and line-up. It would take anyone of their skill about 20 mins to make 20-25 bucks. I would definitely not support a poor work ethic establishment like this, but if you do, Jose is the best in my opinion or this review would be a 1. If there's one thing I know about in life, it's fresh fades, tapers, and line-ups. I've been here a few times when my barber is out-of-town or can't fit me in at the last minute and every single time I leave more than satisfied. No ifs, ands, or buts. Reasons to visit Supreme Cutz: 1. The TV is enormous (at least 60") and they always have sports playing. 2. Every barber in the shop can cut. I've only been cut up by Jose and LJ, but I've heard from other reliable, objective, non-confidential sources that every barber on the roster can put in trababjo with the clippers. You won't go wrong with anyone in the shop. 3. Tons of chairs. On everything that's holy, there must be at least 10 chairs in here. Assuming each barber can finish a cut in 20-45 minutes, odds are that you won't have to wait or your wait will be short if you walk in on a random day. Statistically speaking, of course. 4. Flexible. Every time I need to come here, I usually call and make a "day of" appointment and somebody can fit me into their schedule. Because of #2, I feel fine with letting anyone of their barbers take their clippers to my cranium and hit me with a shape up + beard line-up. 5. Fair prices. My mid skin fade costs $23 and my beard line-up costs $5. These prices aren't expensive, but it's not a steal either. It's right in line with prices you'll find in most big markets. read more

I've lived in Seattle for just over 6 years and have been coming here for the last 5 years. They have 8 barbers who are all good. I personally prefer LJ and Ike. Call ahead and set up an appointment or you might have a long wait/have to come back another day. Bring cash or use their ATM in store. Good cuts and atmosphere. read more

This is my go-to spot now in the city. Clearly their target customers are male (I have never seen any woman present there during my visits except for the one time my girlfriend came with me). There are several large tvs and typically they are on espn; last time it was some show similar to "cops". Sam is usually my barber and he is very thorough, and it usually takes him about 40 min to finish, which is quite long for my simple hairstyle. He's not chatty like some barbers which is good but perhaps a little too quiet to the point that it's awkward. Location is convenient and street parking is right out front. It'll vary depending on what time you come in but I've never had to walk more than a minute from where I parked to the shop. read more

Best Barber experience in my short 21 years. For the record, I rarely do reviews unless it exceeds my expectations or sucks at an insanely low level. Anyways, I went in for my first cut at this business today and couldn't be more satisfied with Akail. On a side note I've read the reviews and have been recommended by friends before going, like any business it can get busy. Even though they welcome walk-ins I highly recommend CALLING and setting up an appointment because it's that good and that busy, walk-ins have a very small chance of catching a window. Overall, Akail was a very friendly conversationalist and produced the cut I asked for where in my past experiences have gone south quite a few times. But even while waiting for my turn you can observe the talent of all the barbers in which is talent that's not questionable. Talk about giving a guy a confidence boost with the ladies. I called these people at 5:20 in the afternoon. I know everybody was trying to go home and such but I was looking for someone who could take care of my beard as well as my hair. I asked to meet someone, preferably someone who had a beard, to set a long term relationship. This was too confusing for the person on the phone who was shouting around the shop...anyone want a 3:00 pm on Sat?....obviously not taking in consideration my request for someone experienced in beard trimming. After waiting 5 minutes with no response the phone went dead. Either they hung up or don't know how to use a phone. I asked what time they opened on Monday, and was told "I don't know, I don't work on Monday." I figure I'll just drop in on my lunch break and get a haircut. I used to get my haircut about 1.5 hours north simply because it was ridiculously hard to find a good barber in Seattle. But eventually driving that far had to end, so I ended up spending quite a few time moving from barber to barber. Everywhere is so expensive and finding a talented barber that can cut black hair is tough. After a bunch of calls one day and a lot of failure, I ended up finally asking one of my friends and he recommended here. I ain't gonna lie, I got a little scared when I came in cause I didn't see a black dude, but after sitting in the chair and getting my haircut and just watching the quality of the others barbers haircuts as people came in and got cut, I was convinced...this Barbershop is legit. I go to Jacob, he gets my cut on point! The other guys are dope too though. I definitely recommend them. I was able to go in the first time after calling and they made time for me. Very unprofessional! I called 2 days ahead of time and scheduled an appointment and when I got there (early btw) I found out the barber who I made the appointment with, left 3 hours earlier. He did not respond to any messages sent to him either. It really is pitiful that this is the standard in Seattle, how are you a barber and don't want to make $$. Your classic American barber shop- great haircuts at a reasonable price! I moved to the area a few months ago and was having a tough time finding a good haircut. I stumbled across Supreme Cutz on the 'Booksy' app (if you've never used it, check it out), and booked a haircut with Jose. Since then, I've been coming in for a haircut every week. I generally set an appointment (all of the barbers there take appointments) however walk ins are also welcome if they have time. Absolutely awful service. I'll do the barber a favor and refer to him as 'A'... Starts off by making me wait a few minutes while he had something to take care of, fine. I sit down and explain the cut I want and this began the hour long cut in which I was mostly ignored while A had a conversation about his new career path other than being a barber, frequently stopped to text(!), tried to put a word in edgewise in the conversation, ignored. I figured it wasn't a big deal, I didn't know him from a hole in the wall. The mail arrives and A stopped what he was doing to go open the mail and sell his booth neighbor one of the brushes that he bought online while I sat and waited yet again. I was ready to ignore all of this until I saw how awful this cut was when I looked at it up close in my home mirror. My beard trim is SLANTED... The top of my hair is UNTOUCHED and best of all my hair is longer on the right side of my forehead than it is on the left. Give me a f---king break. NEVER get a cut here unless you want to look like an idiot. Hopefully I'll be able to get my money back so I can pay someone else to do it right, it only cost me $30...... I hope you don't become an EMT because a lot of people will probably die while you're playing on your phone or talking to a buddy or making petty cash. Disgusted is the only word that comes to mind.
