Supreme Buffet is a large restaurant with decent selection. There is a lot of potential but in a lot of areas it falls short. The Hibachi is great but the sushi bar is stale. The rolls are bland and I didn't see anyone even look at it the whole time we were there. They offer many American Chinese and other Asian cuisine. Nothing really stood out. Your typical buffet with a salad and fruit bar. If you enjoy Chinese buffets you won't be disappointed. Don't come here with high expectations. It's average food with many selections. read more

It's nice to be able to have a place close enough to go to that has such a varity of delious entres and other treats. The amount of Items maybe 300 in total is enough to make the trip worth it. We had been shopping all day and my husband was STARVING!!! He knows I'm not a fan of buffets, especially, Chinese buffets. It just never works out. Too much oil, too much "gravy", typically blah. Disappointed. They was good plenty of choices. Food wasn't a real problem. Couple questionable things but no a big deal. The problem. With checkout. The staff got extremely rude. They were pissed I brought there coupons. Then I drew a line thru tip and she hands it back to me like oh I didn't write one in. I'm like no it's correct. And gave me the look of death. Donna was our server, very friendly! There is a little something for everyone here including: hibachi (build your own and have it grilled in front of you), hand made sushi, fried foods including scallops, shrimp, chicken, French fries, and they even have a fresh fruit and dessert station! Probably the Chinese buffet that I have been to the most in the last several years . The Asian "inspired" food is ok by buffet standards but if you are used to the real deal of course you have to take the reasonable cost to eat here into consideration. A very pleasant surprise is the amount of seafood available, multiple shrimp, crab & fish offerings, plus baby octopus at the salad bar. If you have picky kids or someone who doesn't like Asian "inspired" food, there is enough typical American food to cater to them. The service is usually attentive, but today I didn't get a water refill even though I am done with my 3rd plate. So a ding against the server today. My mom and I went to this place on thursday of opening week (it opened on a tuesday), and the food here was excellent! The Grill was excellent, the sushi was very delicious, and so was the buffet. The only problem is, is when good buffets pop up around Hagerstown after a few services to get their feet wet, their standards seem to drop. The buffet now-a-days is ok, the Sushi is still good, but what really stands out of all the buffets I've been to is the Grill. I have recommended this to many friends, particularly the grill. Also, I have been a little dissapointed with service lately. When I first went there, the service was amazing. But the last few times my family has been there, we have to get up to get ice for our water. The waitress does take our plates from the table, but usually forgets us about refiling our cups. This place has a whole lot of potential for a small town known as Hagerstown. I just wish they would keep up their standards as they did when they first opened. As far as Chinese buffet's go - this is really the best you're going to get in the area. It's HUGE and there's an endless selection. They have a lot of sushi options (like 15!) that are kept cool and made constantly throughout the day. I mostly go to pig out on the sushi - no fancy crazy rolls, but for 8 bucks or whatever it's a great deal. They also sometimes have sesame balls which I never see at any other buffet and I love those things. Never had a bad experience with their food. read more

The steamed white rice seemed to have a fermented taste to it, but as many people prefer the fried rice, perhaps its a slight oversight. For $9.99 this buffet is a great deal. There are numerous food stations/tables including a hibachi section, a sushi section, and the usual buffet tables filled with Chinese and American fare, salads, soups and desserts. The service is great, with our waitress appearing at our table one step ahead of us. She promptly brought me hot tea in a real tea pot and a glass of water. I then walked straight to the sushi section, where I loaded up my plate with neatly prepared fresh sushi rolls galore. While the selection of fish is not extensive, the restaurant has created a multitude of different sushi rolls using the ingredients it does have, plus some offerings not usually seen at typical buffets. I haven't tried the hibachi yet, but it looks like there is plenty from which to create a great stir fry. Also, if you're one of those people who has just got to have mac and cheese and meatloaf for dinner (ugh!), there it is for you. On the other hand, if you want a lot of seafood, that's available, too. I usually go this route---first lots of sushi, followed by some excellent steamed flounder, clams in bean sauce, gingered crabs and stir fry baby bok choy and noodles. The restaurant offers about 3-4 different kinds of shrimp, steamed clams, too. Dessert is a bit lackluster, except for the above average ice cream and a nice fruit selection. When eating here, keep in perspective that this place only charges $9.99 for a decent buffet in a comfortable, clean environment and throws in good service too, and you will find this to be a great buffet deal, as well. read more
