I called up JT Auto as soon as my check engine light came on and I was connected with Lisa, who is an absolute gem! She was able to get me an appointment for the next day and walked me through the whole process. I had to come back more than once in between my meetings, and Lisa was very considerate and informed me that because they were experiencing a delay, she could stay open a little late so I could pick up my vehicle. The first time I checked in, she informed me that the wrong part was sent over, but Lisa expertly navigated calling the right folks to ensure that I got the right part! When picking up my car, JT was able to answer all my questions and recommended some helpful service tips that may save me from some grief in the future. The second time I went in was for routine maintenance and the whole JT Auto team was able to get me in and out ASAP! I can say with confidence that JT Auto is my go-to location for all my car needs. I had a few questions which were answered with no problem. I confirmed they could replace my tire and agreed to have it completed. They took my keys and got my car in right away, even though there were other customers in the lobby. The lady at the front desk was very courteous and took the time to explain everything to me that was being done. She even noticed another issued and gave me a quote that seemed fair to come back and address at a later time. Overall, it was a great experience. The shop wasn't as shiny as the chain shops, but they would honest and had great pricing. Overall, I will be going back and recommend others use them as well

We made an apt and they picked us up from the shop and took us home, and when done, they would do the shuttle in reverse. They no longér do loaners & no discounts. When we got the car back, the a/c did work, but had some residual gaps, and it cut out. They said bring it back for another go over, it finally began to work correctly. I chalked it up to new parts. Like everybody, I waited patiently in your thimble-sized office, navigated your comically undersized lot, and quietly appreciated the humor of your staff through the years. Thank you for that. So why today was I met by two new faces at the service desk with such a strikingly different attitude? I was surprised to hear oil changes require advance appointments, and you now prefer online. I mean, sure, I can do that. But when did that change? And why was a technician I've never seen before so condescending about it? He was downright hostile. Then the other guy chimed in and accused me of interrupting him. Honestly, gentlemen, I asked myself, "Is it worth it to schedule an appointment with you, if I know it's going to be you calling me to tell me any additional work that may need to be done? Do I trust the two of you?" The answer in that split-second moment was no. The arrogance, sarcasm, and belittling behavior by this pair made me realize I wouldn't trust these two to be the communicators of my mechanic shop. When I asked where the two old guys went, Kyle said with a smirk, "They went where all old guys go." Um, did they die? No, they retired, thankfully. Old guys from the desk, you are missed by your customers! Maybe it's the same great mechanics working behind closed bay doors at Hollenshade's, I don't know. Two guys I've never seen before told me things about how the business works that I've never heard before and treated me in a way no one at Hollenshades ever treated me before. Which leads me to the conclusion that this is not the same Hollenshade's I've trusted for over 20 years. I'm genuinely disappointed that I need to find a new mechanic.
