Great service! After spending several hours trying to get a new tire at AAA Abingdon Car Care Insurance Travel Center, I decided to try another shop. I came across Goodyear, which was barely 0.5 miles away from AAA. I was greeted and welcomed by Felicia Finch, and I quickly got a new tire. I got rewarded by going to Goodyear because I got a free rubber valve stem. (This was due to me damaging its sensor.) I don't think I would have gotten a free tire part elseware. Very friendly employees and convenient to my location. Also very open appointment times which add to the convenience factor. I scheduled an appointment yesterday for a headlight change today. I got to my appointment about a half hour early because I was running errands after work, and it didn't make sense to go back home only to turn around and come back out. But they were able to get me in before my scheduled appointment time and they were quick. They even did both headlights for me and only charged on labor for 1 of them. They also told me some other things I should get taken care of, but I didn't have time today so they scheduled me an appointment for this weekend. Went in to get a flat fixed and a rear bulb put in. Thats all I wanted.Nothing more but nothing less. If they told me they were going to charge to rebalance my tire I would have told them to mark the location of the valve dtem on the tire. I have been working at a tire shop since 1983. I know for a fact thatif that was done. It would have been fine. Plus it was on the back . You can check to see if any weights fell off during the repair. Not to mention the tire has stick on weights that have been on fot years. I talked to the store Manager and he just blew me off. Been stewing over this for weeks. Ask the customer want he wants and do it. The tech does a great job and he just did what he was told. I'm sure with a NEW SHERIFF in town he didn't want to rock the boat. Would I have refunded the cost of the balance YES . Would I risk losing the customer over 15 bucks. NEVER IN A MILLION. Is the ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR that important ? read more

Amazing service. Always believe I was just thinking I need all new tires, brakes and an overall evaluation of my Jeep. I looked at my tires which were Goodyear tires and pow I looked up and Goodyear was in front of my face. I literally get coffee everyday right next to Goodyear so I felt I was guided there. Great staff, no haggle, no getting over, great prices, coupons and just a great feel. I felt taken care of as a lady we get such a raw deal when it comes to car service so I felt very comfy. ** If you are a woman dont go get your car serviced with a man. These people will try to get over ** I visited goodyear to get my headlight bulb replaced. When I got my keys back and started my car my battery light on my dashboard appeared which was not there before. I went back inside and told the service advisor. The technician went back out looked around and pulled my car up to do a diagnostic. They kept telling me it was my car pcm. They were very dismissive and was told to go to the dealership. I went to the dealership after I left Goodyear the technician popped the hood of my car and quickly realized my Air mass flow sensor was unplugged. Which was one of the codes that popped up on Goodyear service diagnostics but no one checked ! It was very visible . I went to get my headlight replace having no major driving issues to being left with my car jerking and hesitating because the technician unplugging my air flow mass sensor. I had to pay a $99 diagnostic fee for the dealership to tell me Goodyear left something unplugged . read more

Getting in with appt. Was fine, I got a wheel alignment done. This shop did one in 3/2020. I had a broken bolt and they replaced it along with several others due to they weren't strong enough and I needed a better grade of bolts. No problem. They did everything good, but my steering wheel was slightly crooked and I didn't have time to complain. 10/2020 I went back to have them re alignment done with the side note to make my steering wheel straight sothat I have easy access to cruise control buttons on steering wheel. They asked if I had any issues and does it drive straight. Everything is was fine just align my steering wheel with the wheels.. few hours later I get a call its done and pick it up. I asked them if they saw anything while underneath, i.e. tires look good. They told me things were good, I paid them. Went got in my car, pulled out of parking spot making a hard turn right and heard a clunking noise. Not even driving 75 feet. I went into Goodyear and told them. I was told they know nothing about it it because I didn't tell them about a noise when I dropped it off. "Well Because It Wasn't Making A Noise". But they clarified they test drove it before and after doing the alignment. They put it up on the lift, It was clear as day that its now rubbing when you make a hard right turn. I took it to a MR Tire where I had to pay for another wheel alignment to fix the issue Goodyear left me with as they told me they won't do anything unless I pay them 1 hour for them to correct it. As they tried to convince me that my driving it made something happen. Thank You Mr. Tire for helping me correct and show me where Goodyear made an adjustment of turns to far/to many turns 1 way in 1 direction. And since I Showed Mr Tire my reciept from Goodyear in Abingdon,MD. They not only fixed Goodyear's mistake but also discounted the price for my inconvenience of wasted time and money at Goodyear auto repair. Never again will they see my cars... What a joke this place is. Worse then sitting in a doctors office waiting to see the doctor. The Good Year on route 924 in Harford County. Scheduled an appointment for 9:00am to have a tire serviced because of a flat. Once I arrived, the person behind the counter said that if I was dropping off car and I replied no I would be waiting for it. Then they said it could take up to 5 hours to repair because they were busy. OK now what is the freakin' point of making an appointment if I have to wait for 5 hours. They said it would take less then an hour to fix ( i would say less then 30 minutes). So how the conversation ended was am I going to wait for 5 hours to have tire fixed (of course I am not waiting). Side note I did take off from work expecting to spend an hour there then be on my way. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOO that did not happen. Another note I have taken my 3 vehicles to this same Good Year to be serviced over the years and have spent thousands of dollars which include oil changes, purchasing tires, front end alignments, etc. Also, I just purchased a new set of tires there for almost 1000.00 dollars. So to make a long story short I left angry and told them to kiss my ASS and will not be coming back to service any of my vehicles. If I could give no stars to this review I would. read more

Worst experience I have ever had at a car shop, I would give 0 stars if I could. Not only did I schedule my oil change, JUST an oil change a week in advance. I made my appointment for 11am (dropped it off at 10am) because it said it would be done by 2:00 pm online which is perfect because I work at 3:00 pm. 3 hours for an oil change is a little much especially when it's literally a 30 minute process of oil running out and then just filling it back up. I call at 2:15 because I still received no call stating it was ready. I was told at 2:15 "your cars up next" NEXT?! What was done for the 4 hours it sat there? What are the appointment times for? Why did I even drop it off? Why does it take 5 hours to change oil? The best I got from Paul was a lame "sorry" like yes I'm sorry you can't do your job and I'm sorry you can't hold up your end of an agreement and lastly I'm sorry that you offered nothing like a discount to come back or any type of real apology. If you go, be sure to ask for Elle. She was very conscious of making sure I was happy. I went for tires and she took her time to make sure I got the best deal. I ended up with a nice set of brand name tires that were the same price as the generic pep boys brand. After I was finished she even noticed my military ID and suggested a military discount. I always forget. I only gave 3 stars just because it wasn't cheap, but compared to the others it was an acceptable price. read more

$52.36 to change a headlight bulb. That's insane. They charged $19.17 for a single bulb and $28.50 for labor when it took less than 15 minutes for them to do. Also when I asked if they could do it the salesman said yes. After he took my keys I asked how long it would take and he told me that he wasn't even sure they could get it done today. read more

What a joke this place is.... I took my car in to have them plug a tire and change the oil. I get a call saying my something was wrong with my oil plug and that it would cost anywhere between $7 - $700 dollars to fix this. They blamed it on whoever changed my oil last, so right then I knew they were up to no good. They said they hadn't touched it and called me as soon as they saw it. I told them to leave it and I would take it back to where I had my oil changed last. Then they call me back saying they can't fix my tire, but they could sell me 4 new one for $700. No thanks. So, I pick my car up and drive home. The next day I leave to run a few errands, and when I get back home I notice a big oil spot in the garage where my car had been parked. I check the next morning, and guess what, still leaking oil. So, I had to use my daughters car to go to work and on the way I stop at Goodyear. I ask for the manager. I tell him how they said they didn't touch my car, and magically my car is leaking a great deal of oil. Of course, him and one of his mechanics disagree and offer for me to pull it in and they will take a look. MORONS - do you think its wise I drive my car around while all my oil is leaking out???? Anyway, I tell them they aren't touching it and I leave. I take it to my regular mechanic (who was the last one to change the oil). He changes my oil and gives me a new oil plug and I walk out with a bill of $39. He also tells me that apparently Goodyear must have stripped the plug, because he found a self draining plug with some kind of blue silicon on my car. I will NEVER take anything to Goodyear again!!!! read more

Well...where shall I start? I took my vehicle to get an oil change and my tires rotated, and let's just say the experience was less than okay. I was initially surprised at what poor customer service they projected. Nonetheless, I am a girl and I don't know how to change my oil or rotate tires so I was left with no other option since it was so last minute. I noticed when dropping my car off that my back right tire had a scuff on it (I think I bumped a curb somewhere along the line) so I knew that upon picking my car up that the scuffed tire should not still be on the back right wheel. They took an hour longer than they had said, and when I got in my car there was a greasy elbow stain on my arm rest with additional greasy finger prints on my stereo and steering wheel AND what do ya know the scuffed tire was still in the same spot. I walked back into the reception area and explained that I had paid for a tire rotation, but that they had not completed it, and the guy looked at me like I had two heads! They didn't offer to take my car right back and perform the tire rotation, instead they said I could make another appointment on the following day to come back - yea, no thanks! They did at least refund me the cost of the tire rotation. I wonder how many times a day they lie about doing tire rotations? If you do decide to get your tires rotated here, make sure you mark the tires with chalk so you can be assured that the job was actually done. read more

I had issues with my vehicle in the middle of the fourth Nor'easter to come across Maryland in March of 2018. I contacted the service manager for an emergency repair and he immediately told me to come to their shop. I arrived there with the snow falling in the wind blowing knowing that the shop might closed because of inclement weather. The service manager indicated to me that they would effect repairs as soon as possible. I received a phone call from them about 2 hours later on a repair that many other automotive places would have really stuck it to me. I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and honesty and cleanliness of the facility. My wife and I will certainly return four tires, brakes and any other issue that might arise with our vehicle and most certainly recommend them to our friends and family.
