To Management and Corporate:…read more As a loyal, 3-time customer, I was subjected to unbelievable disrespect, predatory tactics, and the unlawful seizure of my vehicle. Ten days after buying a used Nissan, they demanded it back because they failed to secure financing due to their own massive markup ($9k selling price on a $3k book value). When I previously tried to return it due to buyer's remorse, management refused, claiming "no buyer's remorse." Yet when *they* failed to hold up their end of the deal, they demanded the car back immediately. When my son and I arrived on 7/23/26, we were shuffled between Sales and Finance 3-4 times before anyone spoke to us. Salesman Edi tried aggressively to sell us another car. When that failed, he took my keys under the deliberate lie that he needed to "check the mileage" -and I watched him drive my car away before I had even spoken with anyone. We were dumped in Finance Manager Albert's office, who sat in silence on his phone for five minutes before admitting he was just a "middleman" and tried to coerce me into signing away my rights. When I refused, he claimed my car was "up at the top" and wasn't coming down, calling key confiscation "standard procedure." Albert eventually returned, saying Manager Jesus approved reimbursement for our costs and told us to go back to Sales. Walking back, we confronted Edi standing outside to ask who ordered him to lie and steal my keys-he refused to answer. We finally met with Jesus, who admitted they unwind deals "all the time" due to failed financing on their end. When confronted about taking my keys without signed paperwork, Jesus absurdly claimed the car was "yes and no" legally mine. They illegally detained my property without any signed unwind papers and forced me to leave empty-handed with only a "check request" - not guaranteed funds. Avoid this dealership at all costs unless you want to deal with predatory pricing, total lack of transparency, manipulation tactics, and extreme disrespect.

Review of Service Department…read more We've had our fair share of bad dealership service departments, but this one takes the gold. I've had a couple great advisors here, but Ken is the guy! He is easy to work with, quick communication and updates, and good energy. Easy to make appointments, quick check ins, good discounts, and a great waiting area. Ken will be my go to guy!

My Experience with BMW of Murrieta…read more I want to make it clear that this review reflects my personal experience. Every customer's situation is different, and while my experience was disappointing, someone else's may be completely positive. My intention is simply to share what happened so others can make their own informed decisions. I placed what I understood to be a refundable deposit for a future vehicle allocation. When I later decided to cancel and requested a refund, the process became far more difficult than I expected. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter directly with the dealership, I was unable to obtain my deposit through normal communication. It wasn't until I escalated my concerns to the corporate office of the Hendrick Automotive Group that the situation changed. From my first interaction with the corporate team, I felt that my concerns were taken seriously. They were professional, courteous, responsive, and genuinely committed to understanding what had happened. Rather than simply dismissing my concerns, they reviewed the circumstances, communicated with me throughout the process, and ultimately resolved the matter by refunding my deposit. Their level of customer service was outstanding, and I truly appreciate the professionalism and integrity they demonstrated. They restored a level of confidence that I had lost during my experience with the dealership, and for that I am sincerely grateful. Since then, I purchased a BMW M3 from another BMW dealership. Ironically, BMW of Murrieta is by far the closest dealership to my home for routine maintenance and warranty service. However, because of my experience, I now find myself hesitant to bring my vehicle there. I want to be clear that I have no evidence that I would be treated differently, but the experience left me concerned enough that I question whether I would feel comfortable servicing my vehicle there. As a result, I am considering driving significantly farther to the dealership where I purchased my M3 in Santa Ana simply because I have greater confidence in the relationship and service I received there. My disappointment was never about changing my mind on a vehicle purchase. Rather, it stemmed from the customer service I experienced and the difficulty I encountered trying to resolve what I believed was a straightforward refund request. I believe transparency, clear communication, and honoring commitments are essential to building trust and maintaining strong customer relationships. Again, this review reflects only my experience. I recognize that many customers may have had excellent interactions with BMW of Murrieta, and I genuinely hope that continues. My goal is not to discourage anyone from doing business there, but simply to provide an honest and respectful account of my own experience and how it has affected my confidence as a customer. At the same time, I believe credit should be given where it is due, and my experience with the Hendrick Automotive Group corporate team was exceptional. Their professionalism, fairness, and willingness to make things right left a lasting positive impression on me, and I sincerely thank them for their assistance.

From start to finish, every person I worked with was absolutely amazing. My salesperson, James, was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely focused on helping me find the right vehicle for my needs and budget. I never felt pressured only supported. The finance representative who completed my paperwork was incredible. I wish I could remember her name because her customer service was truly outstanding. She made the entire process easy, comfortable, and stress-free. What impressed me most was the service department. During my purchase, the associate I believe her name is Sara identified an issue with the vehicle that I hadn't even noticed. Instead of ignoring it, she immediately stepped in, arranged a loaner vehicle for me, and made sure everything was taken care of while my car was being repaired. I've purchased vehicles from several dealerships over the years, and I can honestly say I've never experienced this level of customer care. The team at CarMax treated me like a person, not a sale. Their honesty, professionalism, and commitment to doing what's right for the customer truly set them apart.

@CarMaxVictorville We went to CarMax Victorville on…read moreSaturday, June 27, looking to trade in our car. We found a vehicle we were interested in, and when the salesperson pulled up the Carfax report, we noticed it showed 3 previous owners and a reported accident -- but this was never mentioned to us before we asked. When we asked what happened in the accident, the salesperson didn't know, and simply told us "just to be sure," implying they don't sell cars with frame damage. That's not reassuring when the report is sitting right there and no one can explain it. As buyers, we expect the person selling us a car to actually walk us through its history, not hand us a report and hope we don't read it closely. If we hadn't asked, we wouldn't have known any of this. Be sure to ask direct questions and read the Carfax yourself before you sign anything here. @CarMaxMurrieta We visited CarMax Murrieta today to get an appraisal on our trade-in. We are the original and only owners of this car and have never been in an accident -- no claims, no repairs, nothing. So we were stunned when they came back and told us there was "frame damage" and asked if we'd been in an accident. We know our car's history better than anyone, and this simply isn't true. It's hard not to wonder if this is used as a reason to lower trade-in offers. If you're bringing a vehicle in for appraisal here, get a second opinion elsewhere before you accept what they tell you about your car's condition.

A complete disaster. Fake CPO inspections and nonexistent management…read more What a disaster! I have owned a Mercedes for over 8 years (bought in the Bay Area) and love the brand. Because of that loyalty, I brought my wife to Mercedes-Benz of Temecula to upgrade her vehicle. We bought a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) GLA250. I always buy CPO for the warranty and peace of mind. In fact, my current Mercedes was a CPO--it is now 13 years old and has never had a single major issue. This car, however, has been plagued with problems from day one and should never have qualified for CPO status. The previous owner clearly mistreated it, and this dealership absolutely skipped the rigorous inspection they claim to perform. When I confronted the Service Manager about it, he admitted they just looked at the computer records, saw a service history, and "figured it was fine." That is a blatant failure of the CPO promise. Yes, we have brought it in three times, and yes, they covered the repairs under warranty. But because of the constant issues, I reached out to three different people at the dealership expressing how nervous we are about the vehicle's reliability. I asked what they could do to make this right. The result? Total silence. Not a single solution, zero help, and zero accountability. If you want proof of how little this team cares about customers once they have your money, look at the review history here. Management routinely ghosts people, ignores emails, and fails to return phone calls. At the helm of this operation is General Manager Garth Blumenthal, who sets the tone for the entire establishment. When I finally got a response, I was met with zero interest in resolving the issue and a massive attitude. It is clear that customer satisfaction means nothing to him once the check clears. I have received better service at Wal-Mart. We are so dissatisfied with this vehicle and the atrocious lack of service that we are now taking the car to a reputable, independent mechanic for any future work. I will willingly pay out of pocket just to avoid dealing with this untrustworthy staff again. If you are in the market for a Mercedes, save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. They do not care about your business, they do not care about your safety, and they do not earn your hard-earned dollars.

I recently purchased a 2018 Genesis G80 from Affordable Imports Auto Sales in Murrieta for my son,…read moreand it was, without question, one of the best car-buying experiences I have had in more than 40 years of buying cars. The vehicle had 200,000 miles, yet the Carfax showed a meticulous service history--oil changes practically every month--and the car's condition reflected that care. It was exactly as described over the phone. No surprises, no games. After my son detailed and waxed it, the car looks flawless and the paint was like glass. I had been searching all over Southern California for weeks trying to find a reliable car under $7,000 for my son to drive to work, and everything else I looked at was junk. The price on this Genesis was incredibly low, and I kept expecting to discover a major issue later. Three months in, the car has performed perfectly. The sales experience itself was fast, friendly, and refreshingly straightforward. Mike handled the sale and was outstanding--no pressure, no upselling, no last-minute add-ons. Just an honest, fair, respectful transaction. He treated me like an old friend, not a sales target. I later learned he is a decorated, honorably discharged veteran, and it shows in the integrity with which he runs his business. I also noticed that the other cars on the lot were in similarly clean condition and priced very reasonably. I would absolutely return to Affordable Imports Auto Sales for another vehicle in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality used car without the usual dealership runaround.
