    GOBI "FRIENDS' PLATTER"

Delicious food, fast service, and they bring out sparklers when you order the dessert platter to elevate the ambiance.

Delicious. My favorite has always been and remains the Eggplant Nigzvit - an enticing combination of eggplant, finely ground walnuts and spices, served with a delectable mustard sauce. The Khachapuri with cheese and egg (combined tableside) is sinfully good. The only dish that disappointed was the Pork Mtsvadi - it was extremely fatty and as a result, overly greasy. But that didn't discourage us from ordering a generous hunk of honey cake to share. I should also add that their wine list is chock full of lovely and quite reasonably priced Georgian wines. Service is alright, they seemed a bit stretched. Atmosphere is quite loud. Don't plan on having any meaningful conversation, but honestly, you'll be too busy vying for the last bite of Khachapuri to care!

Visited early - 5pm - on a Saturday. Made a reservation in advance and had no issues. The outdoor patio is heated btw! The decor is gorgeous and there's plenty to choose from on the menu. We had everything from the meat platter to the dumplings to the potatoes. The dumplings were the star of the show - large enough to fit the palm of your hand. Filled with delicious meat and broth. The meat platter was disproportionately costly for the ratio of meat (limited) to potatoes and veggies. I enjoyed the wine list with the detailed overview of Georgian processes. I tried the orange wine sampler and it was a fun experience. Our server was challenging to flag down once we were ready to pay, which is always frustrating when places aren't too busy. I always tip generously regardless - but it didn't help the cost! Although, overall I found the experience to be pretty underwhelming for how expensive everything was. Perhaps it was a bad day? Would still recommend checking them out especially if you've never had Georgian cuisine!

FANTASTIC!! Everything was phenomenal! Service was friendly & attentive. The lamb chops were especially delicious and the khachapuri will satisfy any cheese lovers palate. An excellent choice for medium to large groups so you can share as much as possible! Also, I noticed the separate bar area which was spacious and tucked away from the rest of the bustling restaurant which looks like a great date spot!

After so long hearing about this place, finally went here for restaurant week and no regrets!! The service was exceptional, we had a nice seat outside. Finally got to try KHACHAPURI, we had that as an appetizer and just as expected, so cheese and the egg yolk on top mmm so yummy! They have a big selection of Georgia wine which was really fun to try. They also have happy hr from 3-6 ;) Will def go back, thanks Supra!

Came here with friends and it happened to be restaurant week. Our server was wonderful and very sweet and motherly. The food wasn't my favorite, but I would come back for the Georgian wine which was very unique and had a full clear taste

Honestly this food didn't stand out. I was excited to try the Khachapuri after trying it at Compass Rose before they closed down and I wasn't a fan. The cheese was too thick where it didn't melt well and the flavor was just okay. The Lula Kabab was fine but the lamb was dense in a meatball format - just on a larger scale. The best thing was the dumplings and the peach Georgian soda we tried. Overall it's a beautiful restaurant and service was great but I just wasn't super impressed.

The food was incredible. The khinkali dumplings were fresh and flavorful, the khachapuri was perfectly baked with rich, melted cheese, and the chicken croquettes were cooked perfectly with great texture and flavor. Even the drinks were unique (highly recommend trying the Georgian pear soda). Everything we ordered was excellent, and you can tell they take pride in both presentation and quality. This place absolutely deserves the recognition it's getting. If you're in DC and want something different from the usual restaurant options, this place is a must-try. We will definitely be back.

The Georgian Khinkali dumplings here are absolutely amazing. I have had Georgian food before that was brought to Israel with Georgian jews and I sometimes make some Georgian dishes at home but this was the first time I went to a dedicated Georgian restaurant in the US. I had the vegetarian Khinkali ones with with cremini mushrooms, tarragon, dill, parsley, and white wine vinegar. These really exceeded any expectation I had (and I am known for my food optimism). First the dough was super thick and soft and oh so tasty. They were big! The filling of Khinkali dumplings has soup in it too like a soup dumpling and they were super juicy and super flavorful here. The vinegar and some spices came separately and it was really perfect. I didn't like the service when I was in but the food was absolutely delicious. I also find the owner, Jonathan, to be very kind, respectful and open to feedback. Note that they charge a 4% service fee (not a credit card fee). I would definitely be interested in going back to try more here when I am in DC and hope the service will be better and more professional next time. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

I really wanted to like Supra -- I've heard great things and was excited to try Georgian food in DC. Unfortunately, my experience didn't quite live up to the hype. Service was okay, and the cocktail was passable but nothing memorable. The biggest letdown was the khinkali. The dough fell apart before I could even attempt the classic bite-and-slurp. The pork and beef filling was juicy, but oddly firm -- more like a meatball than the tender, delicate texture it should have had. The khachapuri didn't fare much better. While the presentation was solid, the bread tasted very American in both texture and flavor. If you're familiar with Georgian cuisine, you'll likely walk away disappointed. If you've never had it before, this is a mediocre tease of how rich and incredible Georgian food can be. It's hard to tell if the issues here stem from trouble sourcing authentic ingredients or simply a lack of familiarity and execution in the kitchen -- but either way, it misses the mark. I might return to try something else on the menu, but based on this visit, Supra felt more like a stylized interpretation than the real thing. Ambiance was nice but typical for an American restaurant, price doesn't equal quality of food and service.

Gets loud indoors, especially in the afternoons. Gotta be because of materials and how sound reflects. Makes it difficult to have a conversation and set a mood when dining. Beyond that, I enjoyed the vibe and the dining experience here. The staff seemed enthusiastic and pleasant. First time trying Georgian Food so I was impressed. Trying their lamb soup dish made me feel nostalgic even though I've never had this cuisine before. But it reminds me of similar hearty soups in my culture. Like I felt that feeling that reviewer felt in Ratatouille's climax. Recommended! I would suggest to try it in the fall and sit outside where it may be nicer and quieter.

    Ask the Community - Supra

What's the outdoor Covid19 dining situation like for winter? Heated I gather, but is it tented or not? (Hoping not, as then it just feels like 'indoor' dining with a closed tent situation which can't be good for Covid..) If tented, is it open air?

It's heated, outdoor seating. Still suggest making a reservation on exploretok.com. They have some limited indoor seating, but outdoor seating is heated and out of the patio next to the restaurant.

I want to support your business. Do you have gluten and dairy free options for someone who has allergies?

A friend with gluten sensitivity (not full-on celiac) very much enjoyed the corn fritters and the pork shoulder w/potato entree along with a tasty glass of wine. He was a bit jealous of the looks of our tasty breads though.

Can you dine at this restaurant without spending 142.00?

Hi Kevin, Thanks for reaching out! You can definitely dine at Supra for less than $142, lunch,…

    Is there a corking fee?

Yes, we do have a $25 fee for outside wines. Thanks for checking!

The waiter was patient with my questions and explained what some of the food was as I deliberated over a unique to me menu. I started with the Tolma, which was cabbage stuffed with very tender and flavorful meat. I next ordered Beets with Walnuts and was surprised to see a dish of three squat pieces of beet and walnut mix. It was served cold and was very refreshing. I ended the meal with the Adjaruli which is a cross between a pizza, dip, and bread bowl. It was the best of all those things! Apparently, I needed to be taught how to eat the Adjaruli because I was trying to cut pizza like slices and dip them into the egg. The waiter corrected me (very politely but emphatically) that I should mix the cheese and egg together, then pull off bits of the outside dough to dip into the center. I was close!

Bread bowl with melted cheese and a raw egg yolk to break an mix in - it was made for the boy. So when we came back home, we Yelped "Georgian restaurants" and found Little Georgia, so we came here for his birthday. There's a front entrance on the main drag, but a big private parking lot out back with an entrance there, so we came in. Two mannequins with traditional Georgian (wedding?) attire are there to greet you, with lots of Georgian art and maps along the hallway as you walk in. It was lunch on a weekday, so not a very busy place. Two people at the bar, a table of teens, and a family getting up just as we were entering. Relatively empty. So I was surprised how slow service was over the whole visit. Our waitress was very kind, but I got the impression it was maybe a one-person show. Unfortunately, we skipped asking for some beverages (beyond water) and dessert because we were worried how long it would take. I would definitely try this place again though, because the food was overall pretty good. My son got his Adjaruli cheese boat and was delighted. The bit I tried was good - salty stretchy cheese with a garlic infusion - can't go wrong! My wife got the Phkhlovana spinach cheese pie and it was huge and delicious. Imagine a spanikopita that's cheesier and more bready than flaky crust. Would get again. My brother opted for lamb chops with fried potatoes and I got the Ojakhuri lamb and potatoes. Both were very tasty with a nice seasoning on the potatoes and lamb with a really good piquant and garlicky sauce. My only complaint is that the lamb was pretty well done, and in my opinion lamb is best medium rare; our waitress didn't even ask if we had a cook preference. The ricey, cheesy "cheese balls" appetizer came with the same sauce. Child #3 was in a picky mood that day, so he only ate half of them. They taste like you'd imagine. Solid, but nothing spectacular. Per a recommendation from our waitress, we tried the Adjapsandali eggplant salad. As good as everything was, this was a memorable part of my meal, and I have a love-hate relationship with eggplant. It reminded me a lot of a Catalan Escalivada - roasted eggplant, onions, and peppers served cold but this had a nice salty-sour dressing with it. Would totally get again. It's a nice place with a cuisine that's hard to find in these parts. Reisterstown 2026 with prices to match. The food was overall solid. I wish the service were a little better, but not so bad that I wouldn't come back. Recommended for sure!

I've been seeing some Eastern European mukbangs on Instagram and thought the food looked good. I'm all for new cultural experiences. So I found this place on Yelp and thought I'd give Russian food another try. I knew Russian food is simple and clean, and I knew the backstory to the Borsch dish. That's all I really knew lol... when I tell you the flavors shocked me! It was so delicious and flavorful. And yes, the meat tasted high quality and clean as expected. I ordered to-go (Manti and Borsch), and my food was smelling so good in the car. I was nervous about the Borsch. I like beets but not that much. So when I took a sip of the soup, it was tangy and very delicious. I'm so glad I got it and didn't chicken out. It tasted like a good beef soup with a slight beet and tangy taste. Perfect and filling! I will definitely be getting it again. The Manti was also very delicious. At first it didn't seem like a lot, but it's packed with meat. I was stuffed for 4 hours straight. I believe it had parsley, dill, onion, and fennel, but I am unsure of what herbs are native in Eastern Europe and Russia. They also have a mini market full of Russian foods and snacks. I think I saw pickled herring in the fridge which I will go back to buy. I see people eating it online and I want to try it myself. I will definitely be coming back here and may bring my friends. The prices are high, but the meat quality and taste are worth it for me. I may go again tomorrow lol. The space also looked very nice and was clean. Give this place a try! You won't regret it! It would have been better to have oversized forks and large spoons for serving some of the dishes (ex, filleting the whole fish was a challenge withy a regular fork even though it was ore-cut) and (2) they did not change out the silverware during the meal. It would have been good to have a clean fork when changing from fish to meat, etc. One of the guests wanted 2 orders of potato latkes to go and offered to pay cash separately. The quickly and pleasantly accommodated her. I would highly recommend this place.

He was even happy to speak in Russian to them the whole time. Their ambience and service is wonderful. Food choices are very authentic and full of flavor. Even if you've never eaten Russian/Uzbek food, I highly recommend you try it out. Their portion sizes are great as well. And they have so many choices. You can even tell that all is made fresh. We ordered plov, manti, tashkent salad, kompot, kebobs and their potato salad (i forget the name of this dish) and their bread. It was all wonderful. Definitely worth the drive.

To my luck, we had great Uzbek food less than 15 mins away! It was a while ago but we ordered the samsa, manti, kutabi, plov, and chohohbli, and I can't recall what else but we loved it! Last night my husband and I decided to dine in. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with cultural artifacts and art. This may just be a me thing but the serveware was envy worthy. It was gorgeous. I'm obsessed with beautiful dishware. There were only two people taking orders and serving food for an almost full dining room so we were understanding of a bit of a wait time. The staff were very friendly and checked in on us when they could. We ordered the khachipuri, samsa, oxtail, chohobli, steamed rice, pilmeni, and hot tea. Both the khachipuri and samsa were flaky pastries: khachapuri filled with a salty stretchy cheese with a cheese pull that tasted better than it was Instagram-able and samsa filled with a savory meat/onion mixture served with a tomato based sauce. Get one per person because you will not want to share. We ordered fried mini dumplings which are filled with meat and also served with same tomato based sauce that came with the samsa. They were delicious but afterwards I saw that you can get them steamed in a broth, I told myself I have to get that next time. The slow-cooked, tender oxtail was served over the best crispy, fat-fried potatoes I've ever had. The chohobli (chicken stew) was fall off the bone into a delicious tomato-based stew. We ordered the rice to sop up the delicious stew. The tea really helped to cut the richness of all the delicious food. I have not shut up about this place since we had this meal. I will rave about it to just about anyone that will listen in hopes that they will come with me next time so we can order more dishes to share.

We arrived around 2:45 p.m., so it was nice and quiet with plenty of seating. By the time we left around 4:45, the crowd had definitely started rolling in, so if you're looking for a more relaxed vibe, earlier is the move. Since we'd just eaten, we kept it simple with a few rounds of cocktails and an order of chips and guacamole. The guac was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. It tasted like it had just been made, and the chips were the perfect vehicle for it. Now let's talk about these drinks! First, I ordered an espresso martini, and shout out to Lucha Rosa for already making it with tequila because that's exactly how I like mine. No special requests needed! I also tried the Lucha Rosa Margarita, and whew...it was SO bomb. It was as pretty as it was delicious, which is always a win. The service was great from start to finish. There wasn't a hostess at the stand when we walked in, so we grabbed seats at the bar. She greeted us shortly after, and our bartender was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer our questions about the cocktail menu. His recommendations did not disappoint. Pricing felt comparable to other rooftop bars in the area, maybe just a touch higher, but nothing unexpected for the location and atmosphere. Speaking of atmosphere...the rooftop is gorgeous. The indoor and outdoor spaces are both beautifully designed. It was blazing hot and sunny during our visit, so we happily stayed inside enjoying the air conditioning, but I'd love to come back on a cooler evening to enjoy the outdoor space. Lucha Rosa is definitely worth adding to your happy hour or rooftop rotation. Great cocktails, fresh guac, friendly service, and a beautiful space? That's a solid combo.

I got the Lucha Rosa signature drink and then a Paloma. Both were great, they were strong but the taste of alcohol wasn't unbearable at all. That's the mix I like. The service is good too with the bartenders attending to you pretty regularly. Their food isn't impressive at all though so I'd recommend eating elsewhere after ge a drink in the sun here. We got beef and chicken tacos which weren't great but filled us up since we were starving.
