In the front of the store where every customer comes in through. Then when I went to find what I was looking for, after almost 10 MINUTES of me standing in the same section someone finally came over to me. I did try finding it on my own but wanted to make sure I was getting the right thing. Tall with dark hair and glasses. I told him I was looking for a cord for my phone charger since mine broke. I showed him my phone and he told me I needed to get the wall base plug as well. I said no I just needed the cord. And then he kept telling me I needed the base as well. I knew he was trying to upsell, and coming from a retail background I totally get it, but please take the first no as a no. I told him forget it and that I was leaving and going somewhere else. When I was walking out again no thank you, no nothing, no "have a good day" . I don't know who trained these employees to have customer service skills. I guess they hire people who have none. Please HAVE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE to EVERY CUSTOMER THAT COMES IN. I'll never shop with this company ever again.

I've had my PlayStation 5 since the console first launched, and up until recently it had been…read morerunning great. Over the past year, however, I started experiencing an issue where the system would randomly shut off while I was playing. The first time it happened, I assumed it was just dust buildup. I watched a few videos, removed the side panels, cleaned the fans, used compressed air, and thankfully that solved the problem for quite a while. Recently the issue returned, and this time cleaning it myself didn't help. After doing more research, I learned about a common PS5 issue involving the liquid metal inside the system Because my console had been stored vertically since day one using Sony's official vertical stand, years of use had apparently caused the liquid metal to shift enough to create overheating problems. I started calling around for repair options and was being quoted turnaround times of 7-10 days. Then I remembered seeing videos from InstaFix on TikTok where they specifically discussed this exact PS5 issue and showed how they repair it. I called their Lake Forest location and spoke with YZ. Right away he was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer my questions. Since the Fourth of July holiday was coming up, I asked about turnaround time and was honestly shocked when he told me most PS5 repairs like mine could be completed in about an hour to an hour and a half. I drove over from Orange County, dropped off my console, and YZ walked me through what they would be looking for and what the repair process involved. True to his word, about an hour later I received a text that my PlayStation was finished and ready for pickup. When I arrived, YZ explained exactly what they found, what they repaired, and what I could do moving forward to help maximize the life of the console. What I appreciated most was that he wasn't trying to upsell me on additional services. In fact, he told me my PS5 was actually in pretty good shape overall and that the repair they performed should resolve the issue. The repair also came with a one-year warranty, which gave me additional peace of mind. The total cost was $150, and personally I felt that was completely fair. Some people may look at that number and hesitate, but when you consider that a new PS5 costs well over $500, the expertise required to perform the repair correctly, and the fact that I got my console back fully repaired in about an hour, the value was obvious to me. In a world where it's becoming harder and harder to find businesses that combine expertise, honesty, fair pricing, and excellent customer service, InstaFix absolutely delivered. YZ treated me with respect, communicated clearly throughout the process, and got me back to gaming the same day. If you're dealing with PS5 overheating issues, random shutdowns, liquid metal concerns, or any other console repair, I would not hesitate to recommend InstaFix. This was one of the easiest and most professional repair experiences I've had in a long time.

After meeting with Mario and pricing out the parts and build for a new PC, it was clear the PC purchase would have been over budget. Mario recommended a prebuilt PC from them called PowerSpec. He showed us the G535 and it had everything we wanted in a gaming PC but for almost $500 off the retail price if we had PC built. I asked why was it cheaper and Mario told us the PC was built before the rise in prices on the memory and GPU. We then met with James Tran who showed us the G535. I noticed they had an open box PC. James explained to us the open box was a return for resale at a cheaper price. It was $100 cheaper. We bought the PC and took it home. Unfortunately all was not well with the PC. When playing two different games, (Marvel Rivals & Ark: Survival Ascended) the PC freezes for 10 seconds and reboots to the desktop. I tried troubleshooting by playing two different Benchmarks and lowering the GPU graphics, deleting and reinstalling updated drivers and lowering video resolutions but to no avail. Every time my son would play the games the PC froze and rebooted. This lead me to believe there are hardware issues with the PC. Luckily the PC was still within their 14 day return policy for returns, exchanges and refunds. We decided we did not want to have their techs try to diagnose the problem with the PC and just return and exchange for a new one. MC's return and exchange process was very simple. You go online to their website, log into your account and file a return. You are given a QR code and just then head to MC. When we arrived (the nearest MC is Tustin which is 2 hours away), we met with James Tran again who helped us with the process. I explained to James what the issues were with the PC. He told us the option of walking over to their Tech area of the store and having their guys try and diagnose the PC. I told James we would rather just exchange it for a new one. James understood our situation and spoke with his manager who allowed us to exchange the return for a new PC at the open box price so we did not have a to pay the difference. MicroCenter staff especially their managers (forgot their names) along with Mario and James Tran were awesome. They truly satisfied our experience at their Tustin store and made our teenager son very happy. So far everything is working properly with the replacement PC. I'll do a follow up if things change. Searching around online, it seemed like it could have been the charging port. I called around to some places, and searched online, and the prices I was quoted at other places were significantly higher. I thought about scrapping my iPad, but it does have some sentimental value since it was bought for me by my husband after I passed my CA real estate license exam. After searching some more, I stumbled upon RXTech Repair in Mission Viejo. I sent a request via their online form, asking if they also service my older model iPad. I received a quick email reply, stating the price for replacing the charging port. I had to make sure it was including both labor and the part, as his price was so much more reasonable than other places! When I told Abdullah I would bring my iPad in, he gave me very detailed directions as to where to find the shop. I'm so glad he did, because it's in a shopping center at the corner of La Paz and Marguerite, and there are several shopping centers around there. Even told me where to park! He told me he would try to look at it later on that day (Friday) since he has shorter hours on Saturday and he's closed on Sunday. Sure enough, it was the charging port. He contacted me later that day, telling me when the iPad would be ready for pickup. I went on Saturday before my open house. Paid cash since I didn't want him to have to pay for credit card fees (even though he doesn't charge extra), and I refused to take the $1 change from the cash I gave him. My iPad now works great! Abdullah was so pleasant to work with, took care of my issue quicker than I expected, and I have been telling anyone who will listen to me that it is worth the extra drive from the RSM area to MV for tech repair, as he gives spectacular service at stellar prices!
