I was searching forever for a reliable repair service for my iPhone XS (the back was completely shattered). Cameron was able to fix my phone in a day and the service was wayyyy more affordable than any of the other stores that offer to fix cracked back glass. Camron saved my sanity with an 8 day loaner after my 2017 SE got water damage. Took 7 days to get my new 2022 SE delivered (just launched). Thankfully, loaner kept me connected. We tried to dry out the older SE without success. Gave me a protective case for new SE and made sure loaner was wiped. Also advised on chargers not needed for new SE, and screen protector for new SE. Camron, who says he is the owner, quoted me $85 for one hour of work. I told him the national average is $60 and he says "you get what you pay for." Then I arranged the appointment anyway and because I questioned the price, he suddenly says that we are outside the range of service even though his clearly outlined Yelp range includes Mission Viejo. Really disappointed in the immaturity and childishness displayed when trying to do business with this company. What do I expect from an owner who can't even spell his own name correctly? I urge anyone to keep looking if you want to pay a fair price and have good service. Addendum: after the owner reached out to me to remove the profile and give them one more chance, I decided to do just that. However, the tech came out and examined the computer and told him that it would be an upgrade of $300-$800 in order to make it work the way we wanted it. I got a second opinion from Runnerboys and the tech was at my house within one hour and fixed it completely for $120 and it works perfectly. read more

I wish I knew about TechFix before I took my iPhone 12 Pro Max to a different repair place. I recently dropped by phone from a second story and it destroyed the glass. After the first place replaced the glass, the phone still didn't work. They had my phone for over a week saying it needed a new frame too. I was over it at that point. A friend of mine then said go see Sherwin at TechFix at the Chevron station in Aliso Viejo. Sherwin took my phone found out there was more damage than just the glass. There was so much damage inside, he said it's best to just get a new phone. This is where the madness began. First off, I couldn't remember my Apple ID password, so I was locked out. Sherwin was extremely accommodating, as he didn't want me to be without phone for two weeks, during the Apple wait to restore my password. He took my SIM card and put into a loaner phone for me. Right then, I knew Sherwin was a legit dude. Sherwin backed up my phone just in case Apple wiped it clean due to me forgetting my password and making several attempts to get into my phone. I was super impressed that he did this to save my data. Finally after getting a new iPhone 14 Pro Max, I took it back to Sherwin so he could sync the backup onto it. After a week dealing with Apple and finally getting my access back, Sherwin was able to get my new phone dialed in. I appreciate everything Sherwin did for me. He saved the day!
