This place is a must stop whenever we are in Flag!…read more I've tried a couple of different sandwiches and they're all great. Last time I went, I tried the Cuban. There was a perfect ratio of meat and toppings to bread. Also, they have some of the best fries! Definitely give this place a try. It's a little pricier, but you're definitely paying for the high quality.

As someone who finds it difficult to finish a whole sandwich and side I appreciated the option to order a half sandwich. I had the cheesesteak and it was very good - with a heaping pile of meat and a soft hoagie roll. The housemade chips are tasty as well and they give you plenty of those to snack on. The restaurant has an open, industrial feel and it's a cool fit for downtown. I saw at least three other sandwiches I'd like to try on a return visit if I make it back to Flagstaff.

He gave me and my sister the run down of each section. He went over the different types of olive oils and made sure we knew to sample those we wanted to try. I sampled several different flavors, but I made a purchase of the Harissa olive oil since I was completely out of the one I had from a different company. At the time of my visit there was only one other person browsing around. Then after my sister and I arrived, a few more people came it. It was quiet with low music playing in the background. It was a really great first experience thanks to Tommy.

We were looking for some food souvenirs to purchase as gifts and came across the Sweet Shoppe Candy…read moreStore. This is a candy shop that's small in size but bursting with a ton of different confections from all over the country. They have the Goo Goo Clusters from Nashville, Moose Munch from Medford, Hammonds from Denver, Claeys from South Bend, etc. It's certainly an eclectic selection, well appreciated for variety, but we were looking for locally made items that could keep well in the Arizona heat. We ended up purchasing some prickly pear cactus candy and their in house made mountain bark. Mountain Bark ($5.25 per square) - This is essentially an improved rice crispy treat crossed with fudge. There are tons of crispy popped rice bits interspersed with soft gooey marshmallows, some chewier melted white chocolate bits, and plenty of peanut butter flavor. It's a denser cake vs. a light and fluffy rice crispy treat, but is, dare I say, more delicious. (4/5) With such a wide variety of delicious treats, Sweet Shoppe Candy Store is definitely a great place to pick up some candy.

**July 2026: Sunday Night**…read more My friend and I wanted something healthy and nutritious, but still fast and easy to enjoy at home, so I found Wildflower and was immediately interested in their menu. The potato cream cheese soup was so comforting and delicious, and I loved how creamy and smooth it was. We ended up sharing a few items, and everything came out quickly once we ordered at the counter. We tried the Citrus Beet salad, which had pretty much all of my favorite ingredients: beets, arugula, candied walnuts, and more, along with a bowl of potato cream cheese soup and a tri tip sandwich. The sandwich was good, but the soup and salad were definitely my favorites. Everything felt fresh and satisfying, and it was exactly the kind of meal we were looking for. Wildflower is kind of like Stonefire Grill in Southern California in that it feels like a reliable casual local chain with a lot of good options, and I LOVED that there are several locations around Arizona. If Wildflower were to ever branch out to southern California I'd probably visit monthly and I'd happily return to try more of their refreshing items.

I heard that the local Prickly Pear Vodka (I think it was a vodka at least) is amazing.
