I am the fool who had not yet purchased my own spare tire, so after calling their useless roadside assistance line, I decided to utilize AAA. My beloved, reliable AAA. S & J was dispatched and after a while, an angel appeared. That's how it felt, at least, because the truck's headlights were shining behind him and it felt very godly in the moment. Anyway, my girlfriend and I were so exhausted and Rafael towed us 45 minutes home. For a tow truck, it was actually pretty comfy, which is VERY MUCH not what I experienced last time I had to ride in a tow truck. Rafael was really kind and very friendly and nice to chat with! Genuinely the best experience I could ever hope for in a situation like this. My AAA plan covers up to 100 miles of towing, so I didn't have to pay a dime. Thank you, Rafael! As soon as I got in the car with the other driver from the day before, we found FRIES SPILLED ON MY CENTER CONSOLE. We cleaned it up right away and brushed it off *Issue #2: I noticed my car started acting funny that evening. When I turned on the car, it was fine though when I let go of the brakes, it jumps. I then drove to a stop sign, stopped, but when I pressed the gas it jumped again. We looked under the car and noticed that I truly believe that SOMEONE AT S&J TOWING LOOSENED OUR MOTOR MOUNT NAILS! WHY? Because there was nothing wrong with our car before it was towed to their location in POMONA. I have looked up reviews on S&J TOWING and there is a pattern on customer complaints and possible unauthorized vehicle tampering, willful misconduct, or malicious damage. My friend who currently is in a Coma is apparently a joke for them as they keep saying we're not allowed to access vehicle and when asked for manager the respond is "my boss is not here, private information for his phone number Bs." Guess what? The manager was sitting right next to her and she kept lying after been arguing with her for days! 6 days of letting the car sitting is apparently a cost of above 2000 dollars according to their manager. On top of that the woman who works there is laughing at us for going through this struggle. The battery had died, and although it would jump start, the vehicle was in 'limp mode' and not safe to drive that distance. A driver from Davidson's (Mauricio) arrived to tow the vehicle. Mauricio was very congenial, but obviously not well trained. Since the vehicle had been shut off while my wife and two of her co-workers waited for the arrival of the tow truck, Mauricio was going to jump it again in order to shift the vehicle out of park and release the electronic parking brake. Mauricio discovered that the jumper box on the truck was dead, so he hooked up a pair of jumper cables to the Mazda which immediately caused large sparks and smoke to emanate from the engine compartment. He stated that wasn't normal, and ultimately had to manually place the shift lever in neutral and drag the car on the ramp with the parking brake engaged. Unfortunately, the car did not get delivered until after midnight on 9/23, and we did not discover that there was damage done to the electrical system of the car. Not only were there five small fuses blown, but a fusible link bus bar that supplies 12V to the entire car was irreparably damaged. This required several hours of diagnostics, parts replacement, and clearing of a multitude of error codes to make the vehicle operate normally. Further, when the car was delivered, the driver had to "slide" the car off the rollback ramp due to the electronic parking brake not being able to be released. This is accomplished by putting sliding blocks under the rear wheels. Unfortunately, he began to apply the blocks to the front axle, and when I asked what he was attempting to do he asked if the car was rear wheel drive. No, it is front wheel drive, but the sliding blocks still need to go under the rear wheels as that is where the parking brake actuators are on virtually every modern vehicle manufactured. Again, the driver was very congenial, but very young and obviously in need of further training by management. I even tipped him and engaged him in conversation about the mechanical aspects of front vs. rear wheel drive vehicles, which hopefully will help him in the future. To reiterate, we did not realize there was electrical damage to the vehicle until the next morning. I called Davidson's Towing at 909-800-3131 on 9/23 and spoke to a gentleman named Frank. He stated I would have to call back on 9/24 and speak to "Kevin". I called on the morning of 9/24, again speaking to Frank who stated Kevin was unavailable but would return my call shortly. I waited until after 5 p.m. on 9/24 for a call back, but unfortunately it appears customer service is not a strong suit of this company. Unfortunate. A simple phone call would have done wonders. AAA will be notified and at this time I cannot recommend this business.

We parked briefly while ordering drinks, and before we could even finish our order, someone came in to warn us that multiple cars outside were actively being towed. The signage situation is completely misleading. From where we parked, there were only two small signs meant to represent the entire backside wall of the apartment building. We did not park directly under a sign. We were later told that there used to be a sign under every parking spot stating "no parking," but those signs were removed. They also claimed there was a sign at the entrance to Summerfield, but that sign is not a legitimate or visible warning. It's bent halfway backward, nearly unreadable to incoming cars, and despite claiming to provide contact information in case of towing, it lists none. When confronted about all of this, I could tell the worker felt ashamed because they couldn't give me a direct and straight answer, unable to make eye contact with me while communicating and just darting their eyes around because they knew what they were doing was wrong, purposefully targeting people who were unaware, they were straight spawn camping us. If a business can't afford to install clear, visible, and properly placed signage, they shouldn't be towing vehicles. This felt less like enforcement and more like predatory behavior. We were forced to pay $730 just to have the car dropped on the spot, which is outrageous, unacceptable, and straight theft. We also witnessed their carelessness with other cars. When they would unhook the car, they dropped it from so high that a loud bang sound could be heard, which could very well inflict damage on the cars.
