They did a plumbing estimate and I was already to go but noticed that it was missing a few things I had wanted done. I called back and when someone finally me called back they said the guy who did the estimate was no longer there and they'd have to come back and do an entirely new estimate. I asked if I could just tell them the few things that were missing and they could re-submit but they said no. So instead they were totally Ok with wasting another hour of their customer's time to do another estimate. Note: if your business model just involves doing multiple estimates with no contract signed it probably isn't a very good business model. read more

He took the necessary time to explain the details to my wife and I and answer any follow up questions in a timely and complete manner. The lead tech Uriel (Eddie) did a terrific job of helping to come up with and finalizing the design (re. air handler, returns and supplies) and leading a team to complete the work effort spot on and ahead of schedule. There is no doubt that these technicians are qualified and talented. They are expensive, however. We requested an electrician to come to our house because several exterior outlets were not working. Within 10 minutes of arrival she was wrapping up to leave, as the solution was as simple as flipping a breaker in our main panel for the GFCI. We later received an invoice for $266. Seems excessive for dispatch and 10 minutes of their time. read more

I have used Superior for YEARS. Like ten. Something seems to have gone wrong with these guys, and they really let me down. I'll never use them again. Long story short, the last 12 months their quality has really lagged. It was to the point where someone else had to come out and fix a system they didn't successfully fix. I asked the owner, Dave, whom I know pretty well, to reimburse me and he ignored my email. Not satisfactory! I have spent probably $30k on numerous systems over the years since I am a landlord. I am giving these folks a 2 instead of a 1 because they did *try* to fix it, they just didn't succeed, and as I said I had to pay money to another HVAC outfit to get it fixed in the end. p.s. note how many reviews I have done over the years, all four of their other reviewers have completed very few actual reviews. The central Georgia office which services Lake Oconee and Madison area struggles to staff with capable and honest technicians. Our installation was fraught with trouble and required several visits, and a finally a replacement technician to solve all of the problems. Recently the service staff was dishonest with the customer regarding extent of semi-annual inspection items that were performed. Perhaps the Bluffton SC office that services Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach has more capable technicians. read more

These guys (and gals) are great!!! The office staff is so friendly and were so accommodating with my schedule. I'm always a little nervous with work people coming into my home but the tech was so nice and explained everything that he was going to do (which exactly matched what I called about). After 2 odd experiences, to say the least, (bad experiences to put it more appropriately) with other Heating and Air companies, we reached out to Superior Air. Superior was helpful and understanding from the first phone call and came out to give a 2nd opinion at no charge (after one company pulled our power and then never came back, and another I had a flag about for reasons beyond what seemed to be a ridiculously high estimate for repair). Sure enough, Superior gave us a quote that was hundreds of dollars LESS than the other flagged place and explained everything in detail, unlike the other place. From the dispatch and billing gals (Melissa and Anita), to the Technicians (Matt & Reed) to the Service Manager (David) we felt we were being dealt with honestly by a caring team of true professionals who performed with excellence and know what it means to provide the type of customer service that will win them new, loyal customers (which seems to be horribly lacking on the Island). Needless to say, they won our business and once the new part we needed was in, they were, again, on time (a bit early in fact) and we had our AC back in working order within an hour.
