Jordan spent a significant amount of time testing everything from the attic components to the outside condenser, including the circuit panel in the garage. Of course, the problem did not occur during his visit, but he took extra time to diagnose the issue. His suggestion to replace the circuit breaker seems to have mitigated the problem. Jordan even called back several days later to check on our system. No other company has ever done that. Highly recommended.

We called this company to come out to assess a resident's AC problem and give us an estimate to…read morerepair the issue. They gave us an initial quote that was $858 after the $109 diagnostic fee for a simple repair to replace a fan motor. The cost of the fan motor is about $90 and the labor to install it should take less than an hour. We were in the process of getting other estimates to find another, more affordable vendor, but this company just came back out without authorization and did the work. Then they invoiced us for over $1200 saying that they also replaced the thermostat. The system didn't need a thermostat as it was replaced just a week prior and was brand new. Then they took our new thermostat with them. When we told them they performed this work without approval or authorization, they essentially said that is too bad and you have to pay the bill. I asked for proof that they had authorization to proceed with repairs and they sent an invoice with a squiggly mark (see photo). We were trying to dispute this and see what we can do to get something worked out or come to a resonable agreement about what to do because they did do work, but we would have never agreed to their pricing. The owner just decides that he is going to file a mechanic's lien on the property and does nothing to try to make up for the issue forcing us to pay because our lender would have had a realy issue with a lien. Now we are probably going to take them to small claims court to get restitution. Beware of these guys.

This company came to the rescue and really saved us. We purchased a TRANE XV20i from Old Coast Heating and Air Conditioning in 2018. The system is now 8 years old. The service we were receiving from Old Coast was overpriced, they sold us marked up parts, to include a replacement lightbulb for our RGF REME HALO-LED Whole Home In-Duct Air Purifier and would always upsell me during regular maintenance visits with adequate at best service. Additionally, we know now the $27,000 system purchased from them was not installed properly either. *********************BUT NOW???**************************** We switched to Savannah Air Factory after all our neighbors recommended them. They are now our maintenance company and our go to for all our HVAC needs! This company, undoubtedly, has better prices, service, and competency. They have an emergency number and a technician on call after hours (912) 944-8226. James was on call and he came out to fix the system temporarily so we could make it through the weekend until it could be fixed. Monday morning, I phoned their number (912) 665-6898 and spoke with Kaitlin. I explained our issue and that the system was down and she sent out Darren right away. Darren identified the problem, came up with the solution, and contacted TRANE Technical Support to verify it was the correct resolution. He accurately diagnosed a complex set of issues, including a failed evaporator coil, a refrigerant leak, step motor improperly seated, and sensors not set properly. Now, the system is running perfect, the way it was designed! Despite the extensive repairs needed, they handled the emergency seamlessly. They secured all the necessary parts immediately under warranty at no cost, offered transparent pricing for labor with no hidden fees, and replaced everything with absolute precision. Darren is a consummate professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable. They repaired the leak with a new coil, charged the refrigerant, and got our system running perfectly. Arctic Air was recommended by my contractor who stated, "I've used Arctic Air for 20 years and…read morewould use no one else." Initially, Arctic Air made repairs for various A/C issues with no complaints. A discovered wet ceiling due to duct work issues, however, had us calling Arctic Air for extensive work. Rudy explained the issues we were seeing due to very old, inefficient ductwork, how to correct the problem (replacement), and the time frame to complete. His crew spent a week to remove and replace our attic full of old, outdated and inefficient ductwork with new. My house in the summer has never been so cool (cold, honestly), my room vents are no longer dripping water (condensation) and black from the resulting mold and this allows my A/C to run very efficiently. I would use no one else. Also, they have on call personnel during the weekend. This business is Better Business Bureau approved with an A+ rating as of 9/21/26.

All the service guy wanted to do is sell me a new unit based on his diagnosis which was wrong. When I tried to reach out to the Tech by phone and text he would not answer. Then I tried to contacted his boss the owner by phone he also refused to return a call. The second company came out and replaced a $50 part and two weeks later the unit is working fine. The real issue is that somehow all the freon was gone and I had to recharge the unit at a cost of $425 for the Freon . No Idea how that happened but the Arctic air tech commented that is was a bit low on Freon but not completely gone. Bottom line is that is that the problem could have been fixed for less than $200 instead of $900. This could have been resolved by Arctic air but they would not return a call. Buyer Beware!
