I purchased a new HVAC system for our home back in 2019. While their quote wasn't the lowest, what…read morethey offered compared to their competitors was clearly superior and the price difference wasn't even substantial. It was well worth the extra cost. Since the installation, I've only had one issue (which was not their fault), and it was fully covered under the manufacturer's warranty with no out-of-pocket expenses. After the first year, I signed up for their bi-annual maintenance plan, and I have zero complaints. In fact, I'd say I'm very pleased with their service. Every technician who's visited over the years has been professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. After each inspection, they always send a detailed report via email, complete with photos of each task performed. At the end of every visit, the technician always takes time to say goodbye and they're always pleasant and respectful, which feels rare these days! They're consistently on time, and the friendly lady in the office always calls the day before to confirm the appointment. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

We called this company to come out to assess a resident's AC problem and give us an estimate to…read morerepair the issue. They gave us an initial quote that was $858 after the $109 diagnostic fee for a simple repair to replace a fan motor. The cost of the fan motor is about $90 and the labor to install it should take less than an hour. We were in the process of getting other estimates to find another, more affordable vendor, but this company just came back out without authorization and did the work. Then they invoiced us for over $1200 saying that they also replaced the thermostat. The system didn't need a thermostat as it was replaced just a week prior and was brand new. Then they took our new thermostat with them. When we told them they performed this work without approval or authorization, they essentially said that is too bad and you have to pay the bill. I asked for proof that they had authorization to proceed with repairs and they sent an invoice with a squiggly mark (see photo). We were trying to dispute this and see what we can do to get something worked out or come to a resonable agreement about what to do because they did do work, but we would have never agreed to their pricing. The owner just decides that he is going to file a mechanic's lien on the property and does nothing to try to make up for the issue forcing us to pay because our lender would have had a realy issue with a lien. Now we are probably going to take them to small claims court to get restitution. Beware of these guys.

I didn't want to just put a band aid on the problem and have something else go wrong down the road, which I had read others were experiencing. I was given four options to go with, the two cheaper ones, though better than what I had, could still experience problems because of the foam insulation (who knew, and why are they still allowed to use it?). I went with option #2, which also dehumidifies. I can now have the thermostat set a couple of degrees higher, because of how efficient the unit is, and run it from my smart phone. Great that it can be paid off in 4 years interest free. A big thanks to Mike and the crew.

Hunter came out a few days ago to work on our 10 year old HVAC. I was certain that we'd face the…read moresame experience we endured with other companies in the past--lengthy wait times, repeated visits, and pressuring to get a whole new system--But this time was totally different! Hunter was very open and straightforward about the state of our system and got straight to work with clearing out the lines to get us back up and running. And even when I was afraid there might be another underlying issue at play--because again, we've been told in the past, on more than one occasion, that we should replace our system, Hunter assured me that it's running just fine and kindly took time to explain to my mom and I how situations like ours happen and what can be done to prevent it. It took time for the HVAC to acclimate our home, because of the humidity trapped inside, but when it did, wow! It's running better than I've ever heard it run in years. Thank you Hunter!

Bottom-Line-Up-Front, Savannah Air Factory is unequivocally a 5-Star HVAC Company!…read more We all know how brutal the heat can be here in Savannah. This company came to the rescue and really saved us. We purchased a TRANE XV20i from Old Coast Heating and Air Conditioning in 2018. The system is now 8 years old. The service we were receiving from Old Coast was overpriced, they sold us marked up parts, to include a replacement lightbulb for our RGF REME HALO-LED Whole Home In-Duct Air Purifier and would always upsell me during regular maintenance visits with adequate at best service. Additionally, we know now the $27,000 system purchased from them was not installed properly either. *********************BUT NOW???**************************** We switched to Savannah Air Factory after all our neighbors recommended them. They are now our maintenance company and our go to for all our HVAC needs! This company, undoubtedly, has better prices, service, and competency. They have an emergency number and a technician on call after hours (912) 944-8226. James was on call and he came out to fix the system temporarily so we could make it through the weekend until it could be fixed. Monday morning, I phoned their number (912) 665-6898 and spoke with Kaitlin. I explained our issue and that the system was down and she sent out Darren right away. Darren identified the problem, came up with the solution, and contacted TRANE Technical Support to verify it was the correct resolution. He accurately diagnosed a complex set of issues, including a failed evaporator coil, a refrigerant leak, step motor improperly seated, and sensors not set properly. Now, the system is running perfect, the way it was designed! Despite the extensive repairs needed, they handled the emergency seamlessly. They secured all the necessary parts immediately under warranty at no cost, offered transparent pricing for labor with no hidden fees, and replaced everything with absolute precision. Darren is a consummate professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable. They repaired the leak with a new coil, charged the refrigerant, and got our system running perfectly. Within no time, our home was ice-cold and comfortable again. Their emergency service is fast, honest, and high-quality. My wife and family are so grateful for their quick response and highly recommend them for any AC crisis! THANK YOU Darren, James, Kaitlin, and the whole team at Savannah Air Factory!

The first call to this company made the ultimate decision for my family. They were compassionate…read moreand concerned about not having a working AC in 90 degree plus weather. They were prompt in coming to the initial appointment to assess the issue then they were able to have the new systems in place immediately with only a few hours of turnaround between the assessment appointment which was the next day. The process was diligent and efficient. The price for two new units were to be as expected; however, it is a necessary expense and one that I was willing to invest in for peace of mind in the future. I appreciate the after care Canady's provides as well to ensure that the customer is satisfied. They will also do a follow check in about two weeks which lets me know they care about the quality of their services and are willing to stand by their name. They did not leave a mess and everything is in working order which I am very happy.

Extremely Disappointing Experience -- Poor Communication, Delays, and Lack of Accountability…read more We hired Canady's to replace our water heater and address our toilets bubbling when we showered. We were told our pipes were too narrow and needed replacing, and that failing to do so could eventually result in a catastrophic leak or plumbing emergency. Based on these warnings, we trusted their recommendations and agreed to a major plumbing project. We were repeatedly assured by Nate, the salesman, that the project would begin on a Monday and be completed in time for a city inspection before the weekend. Monday: Four employees arrived to replace the water heater, which was completed before the excavation work began, despite being told the opposite would happen. Tuesday: Only two workers arrived to jackhammer and dig through our kitchen, dining room, garden bed, and yard. We were told three employees had called out and the project would be delayed. Wednesday and Thursday: Pipe installation began, but the project was not completed within the promised timeline. With only two workers assigned to such a large job, the pace was frustratingly slow. Even our neighbors commented on the lack of urgency. Ultimately, we missed the inspection window, despite Nate assuring us twice that the schedule would allow the work to be inspected before the weekend. The lack of care for our home was equally concerning. Our kitchen table and belongings were not covered before jackhammering, leaving concrete dust throughout the area. At some point, the crew disconnected our washing machine's hot-water supply and drain without telling us or reconnecting them. When we used the washer, water flooded our laundry room and spread into the kitchen. Additionally, the hole extending to the exterior of our home was left open and uncovered, allowing insects and animals to potentially enter. On Friday, we reported the exposed opening and an active leak in the kitchen trench the crew had dug. Despite being instructed to call immediately if a problem occurred, we were told no one could come until Monday because they had too many emergency calls. We were left facing the weekend with an unresolved leak and no timely assistance. We have called multiple times requesting to speak with management. As of this writing, no manager has contacted us, and we have received no apology for the flooding, delays, disruption, or lack of support. We understand that plumbing projects can be disruptive and unexpected complications happen. However, poor planning, inadequate protection of our home, disconnected appliances, missed deadlines, and the inability to get help when reporting an active leak are unacceptable. We hired Canady's because we trusted their warnings about a potential plumbing emergency. Instead, we were left with a flooded home, an exposed opening, an unresolved leak, and a project that missed its promised inspection window. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Canady's. Customers deserve honest timelines, reasonable urgency, care for their property, clear communication, and a company that stands behind its work when problems arise.
