The first call to this company made the ultimate decision for my family. They were compassionate…read moreand concerned about not having a working AC in 90 degree plus weather. They were prompt in coming to the initial appointment to assess the issue then they were able to have the new systems in place immediately with only a few hours of turnaround between the assessment appointment which was the next day. The process was diligent and efficient. The price for two new units were to be as expected; however, it is a necessary expense and one that I was willing to invest in for peace of mind in the future. I appreciate the after care Canady's provides as well to ensure that the customer is satisfied. They will also do a follow check in about two weeks which lets me know they care about the quality of their services and are willing to stand by their name. They did not leave a mess and everything is in working order which I am very happy.

Tim did an excellent installation. Pricing was an entirely different matter. To be fully…read moretransparent, Tim did disclose the price prior to beginning the work. The shower handle set was reasonable, servicing the two 50gal hot water tanks, which including draining them were very reasonably priced. However, the price to install the simple bathroom sink faucet was outrages...$572 and I provided the faucet. The shower work and Hot water tank maintence were separately less than half of the sink price. I know what you're thinking and you're correct. I could of declined the work. But I truly wanted the faucet installed. I informed Tim, that I would like to have four additional faucets, two more shower handle sets and an overhead shower installed. You'd figure with the pending amount of work. The price would lessen... nope, not one penny budged. If its one thing I've learned from this ordeal is that i will not allow Canady to install any more of my sinks.

On 9-2-25 at 9:50 am their worker with a long beard, in a red truck and trailer, was heading to…read moreSkidaway Island in the right-hand lane when he abruptly pulled over in front of me into the safety space I enjoy keeping from the auto in front of me, but definitely NOT the size of his truck/trailer combo! I had to brake to avoid the accident and blew my horn to let him know what I thought of him, and to verify my assessment he immediately slowed down to 42 mph in the 55 mph zone traveling over to the island. I am providing the company a great deal of free advertising and feel I have already made an impact with many potential clients. Had I been hit by their rude and dangerous driver the company would definitely have been sued. I suggest the owner have a performance review with the driver, which may save them a great deal of money in the future if this his typical driving manner. It definitely does not speak well of the company. Unfortunately, one star is as low as this program allows, but -10 STAR would be more accurate.

I received a call from Savannah's Water Co. informing me that my water meter reflected that I was…read moreusing 84 gal. of water an hour and had used 23,000 gal. of water in the past 25 days. I immediately called Henry Plumbing Co (in Savannah, GA)., which I had trusted and used for years and always recommended to others, to see if they could find a leak. The scheduler at this company is always accommodating, and she had 2 of the company's plumbers at my house within a couple of hours. After spending around 2 hours inspecting the interior of my home, I mentioned there was standing water on the back lawn, which I had never seen previously. They said they would take a look around exterior of my home, \ after checking out the interior water sources. After their outside "inspection," the plumber-in-charge told me that they could NOT find a leak anywhere. Therefore, I had 2 options: 1. They could check for a leak, before leaving, with a "leak locator device." The cost for "this service," as I recall, was close to $500 and not guaranteed to even locate the leak. I was later told that American Leak Detector charges a flat $350 to find a water leak, with the guarantee they WILL find it. 2. I could have my 30-year-old home, which recently underwent major improvements and is in stellar condition, totally re-piped (which, I have since been informed, would likely have cost approximately $75,000-$100,000k for the re-piping and then all of the repairs in my 3.5 bathrooms, laundry, and kitchen as walls and pricey wooden floors would have to be removed. And, of course, there was no guarantee that a leak would even be found inside after all of that. Nevertheless, this was VERY obviously the route they were recommending I "choose"--even though not 1 sign of needing re-piping (listed below) was present. **Frequent plumbing leaks, Noisy pipes, Visible pipe corrosion, Discolored water, Bad-tasting or bad-smelling water, Fluctuating water temperature.** Before the plumbers left, I paid my bill of $264 for "looking for an unfound leak" and putting new flappers on 2 toilets. I feel like it was money thrown out-the-window, except for the 2 flappers. Shortly after they left, I called the gentleman who had checked my irrigation system (in my new home) the week before and shown me how to use it. After I explained the situation to him, he told me that what I had just experienced was outrageous; he would be at my house within a couple of hours, and then he WOULD find my leak and stop it. And that is just what he did. He effortlessly found the leak right outside my kitchen door in less than 5 minutes, by which time my side lawn was like a small swamp. In less than 20 minutes, he had stopped the almost month-long flow of water the two plumbers could not even locate. No wonder Henry Plumbing Co.. It is worth noting that Henry Plumbing is NOT certified by the Better Business Bureau! Once the leak was found and stopped, I sent an email to the plumbing company telling them about my leak being located and repaired in less than 30 min., along with pictures . I also mentioned that I had a faucet I needed to have installed on a mud sink in my garage--and I felt, after all the unnecessary stress I had been exposed to by their plumbers, that I thought it would be an act of goodwill to a long-time, loyal customer if they would install my faucet at no charge. Though the owner of the plumbing company was sent my email, I never received the courtesy of a reply from her. I called someone else to install my faucet, and I will never again deal with Henry Plumbing Co, of Savannah, GA and will warn others about my experience. Regardless of what Henry Plumbing may say to justify what happened, I consider their modus operandi a "scare tactic" used about what could possibly happen if I did NOT decide to contract for the re-piping of my home. Of course, I feel certain they would say they were just "doing their job" by outlining the possibilities available. I can't help but find this plumbing company's promoted motto an oxymoron: "Your Home's Best Friend."
