We haven't eaten here before, or at least not as the present restaurant. Apparently, from other yelpers, this place has changed hands a few times. We can only rate it as it is now and that was excellent. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Service, even at noon was excellent with the food arriving quickly. The service was slow and crappy. We were the only table in the restaurant. I ordered egg whites and blueberries in my pancakes. I would have preferred being told they were not able to put blueberries in my pancakes. Received my pancakes and asked if they weren't able to put them in. Waitress returned with a massive scoop of blueberry jelly on my pancakes. My egg whites were slimy. Being a pregnant woman I'd prefer to not have food poisoning from under cooked food. Will not be coming back. Your best off going to Perkins in Tomah. The staff had a horrible attitude and acted as if refilling drinks was an inconvenience to them. This place has had its ups and downs. It's changed ownership and management a few times. I don't think these are the same management and ownership they had the last time I ate there, but the service is good and the food I had was very good. They had a Greek breakfast skillet on special, and I figured with the accent they might do that really well. Sure enough it was outstanding, and I plan to order that again next time I am there. Perhaps in future visits as they regain my trust from past experiences at that location I might try more of their menu items. They are doing a good job now. Very disappointed in this "family restaurant". This restaurant does not have availability to cater to any dietary needs. Ordered an 8oz sirloin steak that was to come with grilled onions as was per menu. They charged extra for the onions even though menu said they were included and was a large hamburger patty. Asked for the minestrone soup and was give chicken broth with a variety of noodles and one small piece of Salisbury steak. Asked to have substitution of a house salad or veggies for the potato. Was told they don't do salads, but another guest in our party order a chicken wrap with all the fixings needed for a salad. Would not recommend this restaurant. read more

Went here for bfast with the family. Read some positive reviews on yelp and decided to give it a shot. The food is not half bad. They have a good selection for bfast. The waitress that was there was welcoming and attentive. The bathroom, although out dated, was clean. The coffee was not on point though. I decided not to drink my cup because it would ruin the meal. Stopped by McDonalds to satisfy my coffee craving. The atmosphere could use a make over. It would make it a more inviting environment. Other than that, good place for bfast. read more

Sunday 1-20-19. Went here for lunch after church. It's been months since we were here last. The wife had some veggie skillet thing and I got two pancakes for 3.25 and added bacon for 1.25. I thought 1.25 was pretty cheap to add bacon even if it was only two pieces. Then I figured it out. They were sliced as thin as Scott toilet tissue lol . But that's ok I need to cut back on my bacon intake anyway. The food was good but when I got the bill it bothered me. The charged me 6.75 for my pancake and bacon that should have been 4.50. But that's not really what bothers me it's the fact that just about every time I come here there's a mistake on the bill for a couple bucks and never in my favor. I don't feel I should have to pull out a calculator and get a menu and check everything. We come here most of the time with other people 5 or 6 times a year and 4 out of 6 there's a problem on the bill. Unlike many other restaurants the food order is always correct it's just there's always a couple bucks mistake here or there.
