When we went to pay, our bill was $48 for two chicken dinners and two coffees, which seemed very high. When I questioned the charge, I was told that the extra wings were used to make my quarter portion equivalent to a half. I understand that restaurants sometimes need to make substitutions, but customers should be informed and given the opportunity to approve them--especially when the substitution affects the price. The lack of communication was disappointing, and the bill did not seem reasonable for what we ordered.
