Wow! I was concerned about finding healthy, gluten-free, vegan food options in this small Midwestern town while on a business trip. Fortunately, I found this Mexican place that had a vegetarian option with rice, corn tortillas and chips. And wow is that a lot of food! Didn't even come close to finishing it for dinner. It was tasty, flavorful and hit the spot. The service was incredibly fast, especially given that the restaurant was fairly full even for an early dinner. The locals must know what is good!

We went here on a busy Friday evening as a large group of 15. We called ahead and they put together some tables for us to all sit together to enjoy our meal. Cancun Bay recently moved to a much larger location, and it's amazing. I love how it looks like a little city in here. The prices are great, and the food is delicious! One of the best seafood chimichangas that I've had. The mixed berry margarita was a nice treat as well. The service was wonderful for a busy Friday. We'd definitely stop here again while visiting in Tomah.

We had a group of 12. We went to the brand new location. Had it reserved for a week. When we got there they acted surprised. I look at the calendar behind the counter and had to point it out that it was on the calendar. We were seated in a table area that had food scraps on the floor and chairs. Some chicken, some limes, napkins, other smashed up unidentified foods. We ask to be seated at the cleaner area 5 feet away. That lady walked away and never came back just totally ignored. The server came and we asked if they normally seat people in dirty areas with food waste all over, napkins and greasy prints on tables and chairs....the server looked me right in the eye and said "yes,it's normal. What do you want to drink". At least he was honest I guess. That's the last money they will get from the people in the group. If they are not ashamed to sit customers in a dirty area in the dining room.....what does it look like behind those kitchen doors. Avoid this place if you like to eat in a clean environment.

Lunch fajitas

A great spot to grab some Mexican food. It's a small place, but the service was great and the food came out super fast. They have a lunch menu we ordered from and the chicken lunch fajitas were delicious! My husband got the fajita quesadilla and really liked it as well. Very reasonably priced too.

An absolute hidden gem in the small town of Tomah! This Mexican restaurant on Main Street delivers fast, friendly service with some of the best authentic flavors I've experienced--and I've traveled a lot. The margaritas are incredible (and you can even order them to-go!), and their lunch deals are a fantastic value. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and every dish is packed with authentic flavor. Truly one of the best Mexican spots I've ever come across. A must-visit if you're in town!

Chimichanga

This restaurant was recommended by a colleague and did not disappoint. The have complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were warm and the salsa was fresh and chunky. I ordered the shrimp (Large) and crab chimichanga (imitation crab). It came with refried beans, rice, pico de gallo, guac, and a little slide salad. The food came out quick and it was a nice family friendly atmosphere. I didn't order an alcoholic beverage but they did have a list and looked good on other tables. The price was good. Overall, good experience

Lunch sized steak fajitas

I love when I find an unexpected jem like this. We drive through Tomah all the time and this place always has a bunch of cars, so today the timing worked out for lunch. Glad it did. Homemade chips and fresh salsa to start... chips are warm and crispy, and the salsa is chunky and flavorful. I had a lunch sized portion of steak fajitas and they were absolutely perfect. Hot, flavorful, and served as expected with rice, beans, lettuce, a little guacamole... all fresh and delicious. Wife had a beef tips burrito that was enough food for 2 or more, but also very good. Huge chunks of a very tender beef..probably chuck, and covered in a nice sauce. Remember to slow down, and hit these unexpected places in small towns all over the place.

We stopped in for a quick lunch, place is clean, food is so yummy, and service was friendly.

The service is fast and prompt. The food is good, especially with the limited options in the area.

I'm in town for one night because it's a location for a film shoot. I decided to try this place…read morebecause the guy at the motel recommended it. I'm giving them an extra star in deference to their remote location. Put them in a major city with a significant Mexican population and they would be out of business almost immediately. But the crowded parking lot attests that they are well liked and have a real local following. I had one of their signature Margaritas. A Margarita is so easy to make well. Decent tequila. FRESH lime juice. Some dry curaçao or triple sec. Shake vigorously and serve immediately. They used a good Patron tequila but despoiled it with a cocktail mix reminiscent of Kool-Aid. Their steak chimichanga was minimally seasoned chopped steak (only) in a limp tortilla. The tortilla wasn't fried. The accompanying rice and refritos were unremarkable. No hot sauce of any variety on the table. The servers were nice, personable, and prompt. Extra point for that! The food was alright, but with just a tiny bit of extra effort it could have been good. A good Margarita overcomes many other shortcomings. Unfortunately, no.

Really good!! We are camping nearby and I wanted something different. They had a large menu and…read moresomething for everyone. Now, with Mexican food I'm picky and I only really like chicken burritos. So we were able to create something I'd like- shredded chicken burrito with red sauce and cheese sauce. It was SO good. My kiddos quesadilla was good as well. The chips were warm and fresh and the salsa was good. I do NOT like cilantro and I was glad there wasn't too much. Would definitely recommend.
