Extremely slow. The restaurant was half full and it still took over an hour to get two hamburgers.

First time here. Food was absolutely incredible. Service was prompt and very friendly. Would highly recommend. And they have bloody Mary's and mimosas. read more

Mandy’s Cafe & Deli - This is the smoked brisket Benedict - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Tomah, Wisconsin

Located in a minimall across from Walmart. Seat yourself, front room almost full, so we sat in the almost empty back room. Server smiled and was friendly, good service. Bloody mary was sweet and not spicy. garnish was interesting: comes with pickle slice, olive, mushroom slice, and diced ham. It taste like V8 without the vodka. I would not get it again. Coffee was low quality. Lots of small children were seated around the restaurant on a weekday, and kids menu available. Pancakes were flat. Eggs benny eggs were cooked right but biscuit was also flat. My spouse didn't finish the omlette and felt sick after we left. Not the "diner" experience we were looking for, and I would not come back. Giving extra star b/c the server was really nice. read more

Tried this little cafe on Yelp recommendations during a drive from Madison to Fargo. Thursday morning was busy, but not so much so that we had to wait for a table. I imagine you might have to on weekends. Furnishings were electric and comfortable. I had the power sandwich. Our friendly waitress was not put off by two tweaks I made. I requested whole eggs vs. whites and skipped the bacon. It arrived hot and delicious. The spinach, avocado, and tomatoes were fresh and while my egg was a little runny to be considered over-medium, it was fine -- maybe even better -- because the sandwich was open faced and meant to be knife and forked. Hubs had the healthy oats with both raisins and blueberries. I should mention that the menu is large and varied. It was hard to decide. Prices were reasonable. If we pass through Tomah again, we know where to have breakfast. read more

Our breakfast this morning was EXCELLENT! The price was very reasonable and our waitress, Molly was very nice and enthusiastic. We stop at Mandys every time we are in Tomah, and looking forward to our next visit. We highly recommend Mandy's for exquisite food and superior management and staff. This is such a cute little place and the food is SO tasty! Stopped here while traveling back to Minneapolis from Milwaukee and so glad we did. It's a pretty small place but the service is warm and friendly, that kitchen is cooking some delicious stuff, and it's just a warm and cozy vibe (see pic of the cute Salt/pepper table holder) ;) I had a mushroom, onion and cheese omelette with hash browns and a pancake. The omelette was prepared well and while it may not look pretty on my picture it was Delicious! Seasoned beautifully, perfectly cooked...makes me hungry for it looking at the picture again ;) That pancake....I am usually more of a fluffy thick pancake person but good grief that was a good pancake! Actually had flavor and was tasty as heck!! Yum! Definitely recommend a stop here for a bite :) read more

Stopped by Mandy's Cafe & Deli in Tomah, WI, for a casual bite and found a charming diner experience with some quirky character (just check out that utensil holder!). The place was very clean and had that classic, no-frills diner vibe. Service was on the slow side - took 5-10 minutes for a friendly server to greet me, but considering she seemed to be running the whole show, it's understandable. I went with the club sandwich on white bread and a side of fries. The sandwich was solid - the turkey and ham tasted fresh and flavorful, stacked generously with crispy bacon, lettuce, and tomato. The fries? Surprisingly good, crispy on the outside and just the right amount of salt. This was my second visit, and while the food quality is consistent, the wait times could be improved if they had more help. Still, for the price and quality, it's a good stop if you're not in a rush. read more

What a surprise in Tomah! Found a great breakfast place that serves a very good breakfast and has very friendly and courteous service. I had the scrambled eggs with chicken-fried steak. The young man that served us was very nice and attentive. Strongly recommend Mandi's to anyone in the Tomah area, or passing through. Right off the interstate by Walmart. read more

Mandy’s Cafe & Deli - Biscuits and gravy with side of fruit. Yum! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Tomah, Wisconsin

A hidden gem for brunch in the small town of Tomah! While in town for military training, this quickly became the go-to spot. The menu has something for everyone, with generous portions that hit the spot. The coffee is just what you need to start the day, and the brunch cocktails are a great bonus. The service was quick and friendly--made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. Highly recommend if you're looking for a warm, welcoming brunch experience! read more

Love this spot! A big menu of breakfast and lunch. We ordered from DoorDash this time, but like eating there as well; it's a cozy spot. Prompt service when we picked up. The cheeseburger was delicious. My country breakfast burrito was so good and filling too. You get to pick which type of tortilla. My husband enjoyed his omelet and such a good size. read more

Cute little place that we decided to try for lunch while visiting my family in Tomah. I ordered a lemon cilantro shrimp wrap, and my hubby ordered a cubano. The fries were a little overdone, but the wrap, tomato bisque, and cubano were all delicious! The service was great, and a large breakfast and lunch menu is offered. I'll definitely be going here again someday to try their breakfast or one of their huge cinnamon rolls, yum! read more

Food is still very good as is the service. The ambient noise level is worse than our other visits. Besides the exhaust fan, there are two, large coolers create a loud atmosphere. Special twist on breakfast delights! Charming restaurant owner, Mandy and waitress, Molly. A must stop if you are anywhere near Tomah!

Ordered the smokehouse brisket Bennie! It was very good but they took FOREVER to prepare the food! Sauce was a little bland for me but nothing a little dash of salt can do to save the day. Also, they were VERY skimpy on the brisket, one very thin tiny slice...their breakfast taters were also a hit. Yes, food is freshly prepared so if you're hungry I highly encourage for you to snack on something before hand. Our party was getting restless and the place wasn't even busy when we all went. Anyhow, looking forward in giving this place an additional star when I come back again. The customer service was great! there's plenty of parking as well. read more

Lacked flavor in everything except the tater kegs. I prefer fluffy pancakes. Theirs are very thin and tasted like a crepe rather than a pancake. The corned beef with potatoes was flavorless which is hard to do with corned beef. I asked for scrambled eggs and you see what I got in the photo. The best part of my meal was the bacon and cheddar tater keg! read more

Service & food here were excellent! I got the biscuits & gravy with a cappuccino & both came out hot & perfect! The back room was big enough for a party of 10 & secluded enough to where we didn't feel like we were too loud. Even with being in the back room, the waitress made sure to check on us & was very sweet. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Doing there know!!! Absolutely wonderful uniqe place. The service is wonderful and the serive is super nice.

I had the "average joe" with ham and a pancake... overall the food was great and I would go back.. I read the pancake reviews and don't agree.. it is thinner but has great taste and is the size of 2-3 silver dollar cakes. The edges were a little crispy like a crepe but didn't lack flavor. Eggs are eggs and I added a bit of pepper they could have sat on the grill a bit longer but very acceptable. The ham was thin and 2 pieces or a thicker single slice would have been nice ... but I was full in the end and didn't really need more food. Coffee is your average dinner coffee if you want gourmet coffee stop at the Starbucks across the street. read more

It seemed cute/quaint from an outside perspective and the menu is full of good sounding food. But it was cold like it had sat around for a few hours. My fries were old, cold, burned, and stale. I won't be going out of my way again to stop there. read more

Outstanding heartwarming cooking. The hot beefs were exactly what we wanted. The scalloped potatoes had actual ham in good sized chunks. The broccoli and cauliflower salad used hickory smoked bacon and has a dressing I would love the recipe for as it's better than my own. The brownies were cake like with delicious frosting. (They went great with milk!) The lemon bars were also so delicious and so hard to describe. We will definitely be visiting now that we have found you. Thank you! read more
