I said there was not feel it it's all fabric. The rubber was left at home. There was no rubber on the backing. This rug is engineered to be washed. It's large and I don't have a big enough wash that's why I have taken it here in the past. Suddenly, though I've washed MANY times before, this man tells me I cannot. He needs to look up high quality washable RUGGABLE rugs specially engineered to be washed. I didn't just bring in your every day rug. If you have a ruggable to clean do NOT visit this place they will not believe you even if you've been there before.
