This area hasn't always had the best track record when it comes to keeping places clean or well-maintained (I'm thinking of that old movie theater down the road), so I wasn't sure what to expect. But, truthfully, I have no major complaints. The rink was impeccably clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole place just felt upbeat and well-run. Even the food was surprisingly good, granted its hot dogs and pizza. I did not strap on a pair of skates and take my big booty on the rink, but the kids (and adults that were braver than me) had an amazing time - nothing but laughter. One slight thing that I didn't like is that those hand roller thingys kids use to prevent face planting cost extra, and it was both overly costly and created a logistical nightmare because everyone was stealing each others (not sure the kids understand they had to be paid for so if they where around they just took one) Overall though, solid roller rink.

They were greeted and helped by the very nice staff who picked up 21 kids for an hour and 1/2. Only 3 could skate. What a work out. Their time and effort was much appreciated. Empire State Karate left with all but 2 that could not navigate the rink at all. The rest learned to "walk n skate" with out falling. Progress was made thanks to the helpful staff. The website is tricky to navigate because there is also a site inHauppaguge with different times. There are only 10 lockers so don't expect any to be available. there's really no place to store your belongings unless you wear a backpack while skating or unless one person sits on the side and watches all the purses, wallets and extra "stuff" (assuming you don't want to leave it in the car). Even more tricky if you own your own skates. Also the parking lot is pretty small, so leave plenty of time to find parking in the catering hall lot next door (Danfords) or in the town parking lot (a 5 min walk away)

It's located right next to one of the parking lots so it's very convenient to just park and walk to the playplace. They accept credit card or cash ($25), you sign the waiver and you're good for the whole day. If you wanted to leave and return, you just tell the staff member and they'll give you a bracelet for reentry. There are cubby holes for your shoes at the entrance and a gate separating that area to the indoor play area. The indoor play area is pretty big and very clean with a cute jungle theme. I went there recently when it wasn't busy and the one staff member that was there would tidy up every so often. They have a trampoline, slides, ball pit, tricycles, little cars, etc. There's also 2 bathrooms in the back. There's several seating areas along the side for the adults and two small tables with chairs at the front to the side if you wanted to sit down to eat a snack. The place also sells some little trinkets/toys, small snacks and has some refrigerated drinks as well as some freezer goodies. Overall, this is a great place for a little one to expend some energy! For the price of $25 per child (one adult included), it's a great deal especially since you can come and go for the day. P.S. Remember to wear your own grip socks otherwise you're going to have to purchase.

My daughter had a great time, and all of the other kids seemed to be having a blast too. The place also appeared very clean, which I definitely appreciated. There were a few things that made me uneasy though, especially with a younger toddler. Most indoor play places have some kind of gate separating the entrance/check-in area from the actual play space, but this place doesn't. When we arrived, I had to put my daughter down to sign the waiver on the mounted screens, and she immediately ran right into the play area before I could even follow her in. That was stressful. I also really did not like that the front door was left open the entire time we were there. For a place full of small children, it felt way too easy for a toddler to wander out. Another thing I noticed was that there were no employees anywhere throughout the actual play structure. Staff stayed near the front entrance, but inside it was mostly up to parents to manage everything. Since many parents of the older kids were not inside the structure with them, I found myself constantly having to step in when bigger kids cut in front of my toddler on slides or knocked her over. I understand kids will be kids, but I do think the place could benefit from having staff occasionally monitoring the play areas and reinforcing basic rules. Overall though, the actual space is incredibly impressive and really fun for kids. With a few improvements related to safety and supervision, I think it could be even better.
