The staff was also lovely. The gentleman helped my daughter feel comfortable going up and down the ladder to enter a space which I am thankful for. Today I had my son's first birthday party at this soft play. I was really looking forward to it because of the fantastic reviews I read. When we showed up, the singular employee present told us that the photographer we opted for as an add on had called out sick and wouldn't be there. I mentioned that the owner didn't let me know about this- she said she was told to let me know when I got there. I had absolutely no time to make plans for an alternative to capturing photos and had to rely on guests and the single employee running the party. The tables and high chair all needed to be wiped down, and half of the decorations I dropped off ahead of time were not up. I'll say that's probably due to there not being adequate staffing. My issue here is with how the owner is running this business. If I had employees call out sick last minute I certainly wouldn't leave one employee (with 2 days experience by the by) floundering, trying to manage a party of 30 adults and 10 kids by themselves. I also certainly wouldn't leave it to that employee to break bad news to a customer. So unprofessional. I also feel that the food was not charged accurately- the catering menu for Gino's shows the price of a full tray of caesar salad for $60 + $27 x 3 for 3 additional pizzas ($81) + 3 foot italian hero at $17/foot ($51) = $192 + $17.04 tax + $10 tip (I saw this handed to the delivery driver) = $219.04. The line item for the food on the invoice was $277. $57 extra for what? Due to there only being one employee we ended up needing an additional half hour of party time to have birthday cake, which was provided free of charge and I do appreciate that. The kids had a nice time and the catering food was good. But overall, I paid a premium expecting to have to do no work and felt my mother and I did about half the work anyway.

Smoothies for the kids and coffee and tea for the adults are available for purchase but come complimentary with the membership. They also have classes like Kid's Yoga. I wasn't a fan of everyone having to take their shoes off.. especially adults I would have figured could keep them on. I'm guessing they would make you buy socks if you didn't bring any due to sandals. At least they had cubbies. I feel like I could see a birthday party being fun here so maybe that would be a different perspective. When we went, it happened to be us and just 2 other families so it was pretty quiet. Oh speaking of parties.. it took awhile for us to finally be able to book here for open play because we were always looking for a weekend and usually they reserve morning blocks for parties (leaving open play times like late afternoon 3/4/5pm. Being on top of the bowling alley, this give kids and family extra time together (or separate if the kids go play by themselves while the parents bowl, which seems to be the case here). There are a great deal of inflatable bounce houses and one giant obstacle course, a ropes tower with a slide, rock wall, some arcade games, and a few birthday party rooms. For two kids to play for 1 1/2 hours was $24 total. Seemed like a pretty good deal considering there's no other place quite like this and it keeps the kids active and happy. It is dingy and there are quite a few broken arcade games that they just decide that they're never going to fix (I've been here a few times). You pay 25-50 cents per game or a dollar to play air hockey, basketball, or a motorcycle game. There are no tickets so you're really only playing to have fun, not win prizes. There is a coin machine (it's slow) to give you quarters for the games. During my most recent visit, the basketball machine broke on us so that was interesting. Other than the rinky dink "arcade" (which is kind of just scattered around the bounce houses), this is a fun place with plenty of room for the kids to run around.

There were design challenges given to the kids to create. They were then given tokens to swap for small toys. Downstairs there's a glitter tile bench where kids can create their own tiles to take home. There is also a sitting area for the parents downstairs, with snacks such as pizza, fries, coffee and wine. Definitely worth checking out. Kids under 2 are free.

I especially like the fact that while I've never been here on a weekend day, the place is never overly crowded or hectic. Other places close by can get pretty packed and chaotic. Having said that, there are some things that could use improvement. For one, get a vacuum cleaner that can make the carpets appear clean. There is always so much lint and debris on the carpet, it seems they don't attempt to clean them. I asked one of the nice girls who work there about it and she said they do try but apparently the fabric of the carpet wont let go of the fuzz. I'd get that one figured out quick if it was my place. Not the end of the world, to be sure, but an easy fix that should be addressed. On the plus side, there is so much to keep a toddler/youngster occupied. Two hours in here and you're sure to get a good nap from your little one. Plenty of bouncy houses for jumping and climbing will get them tired and exercised. At the end of the first hour when they've been on everything at least twice, they move the cart holding your belongings to another side and there are all new adventures waiting for your little one. More bouncing and a couple of arcade-style games and a nerf cannon section. Watch for specials- you can save a few bucks when they run a multi-trip offer. I recently saw a five-trip for $25. Thats an awesome deal in anyone's book. The website clearly and easily leads you to the date and the open-play times. Easy.... super easy.... Some of their competitors can take a lesson on "ease of use" web sites from them. Overall, we will make our way back often when I get a day off from work or when the weather isn't taylor-made for out of doors activities. I just hope they can get a vacuum for the floor. I've had good experiences with Pump It Up but this wasn't one of them. This has got to be the…read moreworst kept Pump It Ups I've ever been to. I was invited to join a birthday party and it pretty much went down hill as soon as I entered the parking lot and didn't find any parking spots. I parked out on the street as a result. The slides and the bouncy castles were ok, the kids seemed to have fun with them but that seemed to be the only thing was matched expectations. There was just one mini tandem basketball hoop that was not inflated properly that had a super soft rim. Shots kept bouncing off the soft rim as a result. At all the other Pump It Ups I've been to there was an larger sized inflated version with larger sized basketballs. This one also had a piece in the back where you three tennis balls that was supposed to have a radar gun tracking the speed of the throws against a backdrop of a catcher and hitter. The radar piece didn't work and there was only one or two tennis balls to throw. In the second room, there was a soft air pitching machine hat you feed styrofoam balls into. Needless to say, there was only about 10 balls for 4 of these machines. That's just really sad. Watching the Pump It Up team feed the kids with pizza stacked up in one hand from the counter and dumping the pizza on plates at the table with the other hand was pretty gosh darned unimpressive. I'd never recommend coming back here and I'd probably recommend to the host not to as well.
