We came into Planet Play for the first time with our 3yo children for a birthday party we were invited to. Been in the community for the last 4 years and have ran past on numerous occasions and thought it was a bit older of a crowd. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked inside and they asked us to remove our shoes, which is a big plus for me because it gives off a much cleaner vibe overall. It has an old school arcade vibe, especially with tickets being dispensed from the machines. A few of them were not functioning, and I felt bad asking the staff to replenish the tickets for them to open the machines and there be tickets inside, but obviously not their fault. There was also a large bounce house and a gym area for the kids to run around, and overall I thought it fit the age group very well. Afterwards, they had pizza (from Franks across the street - our favorite) Overall, would definitely recommend for birthday parties, and will be checking out open play in the future.

We'd like to send a huge thank you to Michelle and her staff at Planet Play in Bellmore! They assisted us in celebrating our daughter's 5th birthday! She had so much fun as did her classmates that came to her party! The peace of mind that all we had to worry about bringing was cupcakes and socks was amazing! Many of the parents that came also commented on how much fun their kid was having and that it was a relief to know it was only our party in the game room. The space is closed to the public during the duration of your party. Probably the most relaxing way to have a child's birthday party. Ice coffee for the adults and endless fun for the kids! And no clean up afterwards! Thank you to everyone at Planet Play!

Had my son's 4th birthday party here. You basically select your package and then leave the rest of the work to Planet Play. Kids each get a game card for the arcade and can redeem tickets for prizes. There is also a play area for the kids to climb and slide as well as an area just for the babies. The staff here is friendly and helpful. Plus they took pics of all the kids. Pizza, juice and cupcakes for the kids. Outside food is not allowed so we had to order food through Planet Play. The pizza, garlic knots, chicken tenders and fries were actually better than expected (pizzeria across the street). If you don't want the stress of planning a party, Planet Play is your answer. Plus the price is right!

We had my son's 9th birthday party at Planet Play. He and his friends all had tons of fun! As I'd figured, they wanted to spent most of the time in the play/climbing/bounce area. They loved when Astro the alien arrived! Astro even went in the bounce house, which they thought was hilarious! A few of the parents enjoyed sitting in the massage chairs while their kids played. Everyone had a great time! It was also easier than other party places for me as the host. Decorations and goody bags were already done, so those were two less things I had to do. I also loved how pretty the party room looked with the stars/space theme.

Just had my son's 5th birthday party here. It was super easy! Basically we just showed up (with our cupcakes!) and everything was taken care of! We loved that it was one party in the play area at a time. The kids could run wild while the parents chatted. We had a custom theme that wasn't stereotypical for a 5 year old and the made it happen. I got rave reviews from kids and parents...and really isn't that what you want? Would definitely recommend!

Excellent Indoor play place for kids! I've been to many indoor place places but this one was the best! I love that they have an appointment system- it makes things so much more organized and less crowded which I loved!!! They also care about parents and their relaxation hahah- there is massage chairs and latte!!! Simply great! It's also not ridiculously huge spot therefore easy to keep track of your child! Many activities and due to the fact they allow smaller crowds per sessions, it's easily for your child to get as many chances as he wants on a arcade games and machines. We will definitely be returning again!

Perfect place for young kids to get their energy out! They have a bounce house, a big jungle gym area complete with a couple of slides, a place to shoot balls out, and plenty of places to adults to walk around making sure their children aren't killing each other. They also have a bunch of arcade games that millennials like myself enjoy as well (skee ball and air hockey included). They even have a little area for the younger crowd that is away from the bigger kid area and has smaller toys. Theres a place to get drinks and snacks (albeit mostly candy, but hey, they need to make their money). Prices seem reasonable for birthday parties. The staff here is young, but attentive. Definitely worth going to.

Came for the Valentine's Day Mickey and Minnie themed party! I'm actually shocked this place has any bad reviews. It's a good size for private birthday parties. Everything was so clean and the entertainment was great for the kids. Everything was super organized especially given how many things they had going on at once. My son had a blast and I'm going to check out the birthday packages !

Every time I go they are unbelievably unkind and outright rude. The man behind the counter asked me if I had an account (I thought he meant a Pro account) and I said no, and he then almost completely just disregarded me going back to helping another women. Thankfully my phone number was linked to my free account so was able to get past that. Otherwise just totally depressing being here, said thanks for the help and all I get back is a "yep". Will now only be grading through CGC after this submission is over as a result. Mind you- this wasn't some $5 card, it was for a 1 of 1 Jungle Persian signed by Matthew Sussman (voice actor of Meowth). Even let the guy keep the change, next time I'll take my pennies somewhere else!

According to their employees, nearly going out of business a few years ago, GameStop starting changing policies and recently put in place a requirement that employees must input serial numbers from the consoles before "defecting" them. This means that individuals with brand new machines, have to exchange them for refurbished or pre-owned systems to extend the warranties. After being forced to do this, I received THREE BROKEN systems, in one week. The first wouldn't even initialize for setup, the second would run for about 5 minutes (which I video recorded) and the third my son managed to get going for 2 hours before it crashed. Most of the store personnel are decent, Nick and Chris who did the first and second "Defective returns" were cool enough. Lindo who did the third one was extremely kind and polite, almost to the point it makes you less upset with the store. FRANK, the guy who I spoke to for the fourth return, was literally one of the worst human beings I've ever met. He immediately demanded I come back Monday (I.E. wait all weekend) to speak with Nick. He refused to look up the receipt in his system, pretending like he couldn't until I pointed out every other employee could, which is when he said that he didn't care to do it. Frank wouldn't check to see if he had a compatible system left in the store, unless I first wiped the last PS5 they gave me of my accounts and dragged it in to the store, to potentially find out they didn't even have another one. He stated he wouldn't test any console beyond powering it on to make sure it actually starts. Said he wouldn't call Nick (the store manager), contact a district manager, or any other form of management. GameStop can thank FRANK for the Consumer Fraud complaint I spent two hours filing tonight with the Attorney Generals Consumer Fraud Department, detailing the stores deceptive practices that have now wasted around 20-30 hours of my time and left me with 3 defective systems in one week. GameStop's Better Business Bureau rating of 1.07 out of 5, which includes hundreds of atrocious reviews describing conflicts and scams with returns, refunds, customer service, conflicting information and rude treatment from staff, explains it all. Googling yields a long list of articles explaining how GameStop has been heavily scamming customers for years, trying to steal money from them on everything from online orders to refunds and warranties. The BBB also lists how GameStop will drag out warranty problems so long, the warranties lapse and then refuse to honor them. Most of the people working there seem to be decent kids, or retirees just trying to make a few bucks, with the exception of FRANK who actually makes me sick, but GameStop needs to close up shop.

All Dr. Aletkin, wanted to do was push his group sessions where he has anywhere from 4 to 8 kids at a time in his office. All the kids would be in different areas of the office doing things on their own. They mostly cycled through 10 minute periods of being able to use his video games. Whenever we tried to schedule one-on-one appointments he would always suggest horrible times; either extremely early in the morning or in the evening. For a preteen boy these were impossible times end would have no benefit to my son. Despite feeling that those appointment times would not be beneficial we struggle to get him to a few of them and, they were useless. It was either too early in the morning and he was still tired (and it affected his day at school) or it was too late in the evening and he was burned out from the day. After speaking with some other parents it became clear that he only wanted to cycle all of the kids to the group sessions because he was able to bill our insurance for the same amount of money as he did for the one-on-one session (this clearly enabled him to maximize his income because he was billing for 4 to 8 kids at a time instead of 1). After over a year of trying to give going to him a chance we finally stopped. Luckily we found a real psychiatrist who began to do one-on-one sessions with our son and also suggested other methods to address his socialization. Our son is now 20 and just completed his sophomore year at a well-known university. He will always have ADD/ADHD and socialization issues, but he has made great strides. Going to Dr. Aletkin, was a complete waste of time and insurance copayments.
