I've only lived in the Bossier/ Shreveport area for 5 yrs. This is by far my favorite restaurant, and I just discovered you just this month of August, and I've been there 4 times already, I will be coming there from now on. The food is awesome reminds me of home and my grandma.. the service is excellent I always thought male waiters were great at hospitality, especially our waiter he was very good , friendly and knew the menu. his name is Carson I think, or could be Carter. Anyways. The atmosphere is spot on very inviting, cozy, and relaxing .. Definitely a 5 star although the prices are pretty high, but we'll both it.. read more

Superior Grill - This picture is my Husband and I, enjoying a Date night at what is now our favorite restaurant.. Superior Grill - Tex-Mex Near Me - Shreveport, Louisiana

We came here Saturday night and it was super busy!! It was just my husband and I so thankfully we were able to sit near the bar and not wait for a table. The chips and salsa were good and spicy margarita was strong!! The chicken quesadillas were average. Unfortunately the service wasn't great possibly because it was so busy it took a while for our waiter to come back with drinks and food. read more

The experience as a whole was amazing. Goods always good and drinks even better. My most favorite restaurant in Shreveport

Always amazing! I go back every time I am in town! Great food, great service and great margaritas!

I love Superior Grill. But, this was different. I get the same thing and somehow my nachos were burnt and the chips were cold. I asked for a non alcoholic margarita on the rocks and he laughed at me. I know, they are known for the good stuff. But I was driving and he literally told me they could not do that. I asked twice bc I thought he didn't hear me say on the rocks. Everyone was nice and attentive and aside from the drink it was still very good just not great like usual. read more

We love dining at Superior Grill! Always a good service and food experience. The restaurant is a proven choice in Shreveport. Will not disappoint! Super yummy food and adorable, fun atmosphere! Highly recommend! read more

This place is a vibe all to its own. It's a great Mexican Restaurant for a date night or a group. Service is prime and kind. All of the waiters and waitresses wear black and white suits and ties without a jacket. They are always polite. I don't know how a restaurant can be loud and romantic at the same time but somehow they pull it off. Here is a secret: they have the best Fajita Steak Meat in the Shreveport/Bossier Area! read more

Superior Grill - San Lucas Fajitas. - Tex-Mex Near Me - Shreveport, Louisiana

This is a late night Tex Mex staple in Shreveport known for their margaritas. Plenty of classic Mexican dishes. It gets fairly busy so even with a large parking lot, they fill up quickly. The interior is much like a large dive bar; plenty of servers but service can be spotty. The food is decent; your classic Texmex dishes. Their dishes aren't extraordinary but it's a classic spot in the area and is well received for a reason. read more

We've been to this location a few times, and each time we are not disappointed. We chose to sit at a bar height table for 2 in the bar area. Timely service, consistent with food freshness + preparation, and presentation. Kind, friendly, and professional (quick) service. The decor reminds you of a well settle place to sit down, partake and visit for a while. Reasonable prices, great facilities. I ordered the pulled port quesadilla - medium sized w/pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. The husband had the pulled pork taco plate which included rice, beans, pico de gallo and guacamole. Both of us left the place with a full belly having consumed a well prepared meal. read more

Amazing staff and food! Carlos is the best GM. This place is a local establishment not your run of the meal corporate place.

The food is fabulous! Most people think Mexican food BUT, the RIBS and Crazy Javier steak are wonderful as well!! The margaritas are SUPERIOR! Get there early or be prepared to wait. I only wished they had a bigger bar area while you wait! read more

Superior's strength is (apologies to Arby's) their meat. Not that they do other things poorly, but IMHO, the meats are the stars of the show. I found the salsa to be pedestrian (though my companions felt otherwise), and some of the sides were no big deal. But the beef in my tacos al carbon was tender and delicious. And the marinated chicken in my companion's dish was heavenly. Good service, nice, traditional ambiance. Superior is a reliable spot for traditional, quality Tex-Mex. read more

We enjoyed the fajitas. Food quality is very good, but portions are small and pricey.

Food was extraordinary the service was attentive and the ambiance was peaceful and perfect! And can we talk about the PLANTS THAT HANG FROM THE CEILING AS DECORE, and how they are all real plants and thriving ! Beautiful setting delish brisket tacos! read more

Great foods! Great atmosphere! Try the margaritas. Been going here fo many years and it never disappoints.

My favorite place to eat in Shreveport and the only place I go for margaritas and Mexican food. The service there has me very spoiled ( Thanks Hannah, Bryce & Kobe) and keeps me coming back. We love celebrating family birthdays or really any special occasion there. Whether on the patio, at the bar or sitting in the main dining area, the ambiance is great!! We love their fajitas, enchiladas and the queso especially that original. One of my go to favorites is the puffy taco or the chicken nuggets; and no I'm not talking frozen nuggets, I'm talking hand cut, hand breaded delicious chicken nuggets, you won't find it on the menu but do yourself a favor and order you a 1lb. read more

It is the BEST place in town. Food, drinks, service, ambiance can't be matched. Been coming here for 32y

This place is terrible now and it's all thanks to their manager, Carlos. He's the hunchback, bug-eyed, 5'6" looking gremlin you see waiting tables there. Nobody wants to work for him and Superior has gone from the best restaurant in Shreveport / Bossier to something you need to skip and just pop in a microwave dinner because that's exactly what it tastes like now. The prices are outrageous too while quality and service went down so I'm not sure what they were thinking there. read more

My food was really cold and it's such a small crowded place and so loud. So confusing just trying to find a hostess to be seated.. The tables are just so close together you can barely move. I felt so uncomfortable. Not for baby's at all either. . We had to wait forever to be seated. This place was very disappointing. read more

I love the atmosphere, the service and the food is my favorite. Love this place and enjoy the view.

The food was great! Portions were excellent! The atmosphere was awesome. Fresh white tablecloths on every table. Service was fast and our waiter was attentive. We will return next time in town. read more

Great start with crisp thin chips and flavorful salsa, followed by guacamole. The guacamole was fantastic and was plated with a tostada and a side of pico de gallo. I had the El Paso plate. One chicken enchilada, a cheese enchilada with chili con carne (the ccc was just ok), a taco al carbon(1/2 of the taco al carbon meal!) , tamale, and a very good cheese chile relleno, rice and beans. I give four stars because the El Paso was not plated in a very appealing way. Service was EXCELLENT. Ambiance is great. If I were a drinker, this place would be one of my go-tos! For next time: If alone I'll try the brisket tacos; if two, we can share the El Paso, or I'll try the blue corn flat enchiladas. If in a group, I'll try the tableside guac. read more

The food is real good. The service is good a little pricey, but you get a lot of food. The margaritas are fantastic.

Good service, server was on point! The lunch menu was large and the $.99 cent marg's were satisfying!

We have always been happy with our food, drinks, service and the welcome ambiance. The margarita's are the bomb!

Love this place! Best Margaritas ever. Can't wait to celebrate my daughter's birthday there tonight.

My wife and I ate there a couple days ago. Extremely poor service and the beef enchilada dinner was poor quality considering the price. We will definitely not return. Ate there a couple years ago with the food and service excellent. read more

Great food great margaritas! We were seated rather quickly for how busy they were! Can't wait to go back!
