Just a bit off the main highway through town, but we went since a friend recommended it from his many trips through town. Worth it. Lots of mainly fried fish options, with a few grilled available as well. Fried Catfish! Wonderful proper crisp but light crust on a best ever thick filet light steamed with great flaky large filets. Shrimp really good and sides and gumbo are just right. Parking looked full but plenty of table space still available inside. They are known for very prompt service and food, so they apologized when it was going to take 10 minutes as they had just turned in orders for 2 parties of a dozen. Prices are quite reasonable, getting homemade quality for just about a dollar over commercial chains, with plenty of food on the plate. Unsweet tea was just brewed and better taste than you would expect... Worth the extra short drive around town to get there, and quite fine staff as well. Try it, you'll like it. read more

I visited Crawdaddy's Kitchen for the first time on Sunday, August 30, with a group of 3. We were seated immediately at 12:31 PM, so initially everything seemed to be going well. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. It took over an hour for us to receive our food. We ordered shrimp and grits and two shrimp and fish platters. During the wait, I asked our server twice what was taking so long. Both times, I was told that they had a large party on the patio. While I understand that large parties can put additional pressure on a kitchen, that really shouldn't come at the expense of other customers who were seated and ordered before or around the same time. If the restaurant isn't able to accommodate a large party while maintaining reasonable service for other guests, there should be better planning and communication. What made it even more frustrating was watching other tables around us receive their food before we did. When I questioned the delay, the response was essentially that "some food takes longer than others." I understand that certain dishes may take more time to prepare, but waiting over an hour without any proactive communication or explanation was disappointing. This was my first visit, and unfortunately, the experience left a poor impression. I really wanted to enjoy the restaurant and give it a fair chance, but based on the service we received, I highly doubt we'll be returning. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because customers shouldn't have to repeatedly ask about their food after waiting that long. read more

We were looking for a new Cajun spot. This was our second time here and we really liked it. The sampler platter with the etouffee was our favorite. We also got the catfish and shrimp. Our server was super nice and the portions were big enough to share. read more

Sat at the bar. We were the only people at the bar. There were two other tables of people in the bar area- one group of 5 and one group of 2. Took 15 minutes to be greeted. Ordered as soon as we talked to the bartender. I got the Cajun sampler. Food came out cold. Will not return. read more

Had such a great experience. Brian took great care of us. We each had the shrimp boil plate. Talk about a pile of shrimp!!! So good!!! We love spice and this had a great kick to it. We will definitely be back! read more

Disappointing and completely overpriced. We came here for a date night and left incredibly frustrated. We started with the fried alligator, which was a small portion for the price, and the crawfish, which was heavily over-battered and I removed some of the batter and it fishy. To make matters worse, the waitress recommended a drink that tasted terrible. When we told her we didn't like it and sent it back, she refused to take it off the bill. Even a classic Old Fashioned was poorly made. At that point, we completely gave up on ordering entrees. Spending $55 for two subpar appetizers and two awful drinks is ridiculous. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Had the fried mushroom and alligator bites. The gator bites were "chef's kiss" delicious! The mushroom was a little too wet for me. The service was good though. The ladies in take out were kind and helpful. I was just sad that the pistolettes were taken off the menu. I flew in and the entire time I was on the plane that was on my mind. I hope yall bring them back read more

Good service and good food! the food was good and the restaurant hosted a warm friendly environment.

I visited Crawdaddy's Kitchen yesterday evening around 6:00 PM to get crawfish. Let me start by saying the seasoning was absolutely amazing flavor-wise, it was on point. However, the overall experience was very disappointing, which is unusual for me because I have eaten here many times in the past and have never had a bad experience until now. We were seated, and our waitress initially greeted us and brought drinks for me, my daughter, and my friend. After that, service became difficult. It took a long time to find our waitress when we needed refills. Eventually, I had to get up myself, and another server from a different section was kind enough to bring our drinks. When the crawfish arrived, they were extremely small for the amount ordered (three and a half pounds). They were not hot--only warm--and very wet, almost as if they hadn't been cooked long enough. It honestly felt like we received the bottom of the barrel. By the time we received the check, I was extremely disappointed, especially considering the amount of money paid. I'm not sure what was going on that night, but this experience did not meet the standard I've come to expect from Crawdaddy's. I truly hope this was just an off night, because this visit was not the Crawdaddy's experience I've had or expected in the past. read more

Food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. It was crowded, but the food came out in a timely manner. Great place highly recommend!

Smells amazing on entry. Food was fantastic. Server was attentive and friendly. I would recommend highly if you are traveling through.

If you are in the Shreveport or Bossier area you have to stop in for great Cajun food. This was our first visit. A local recommended it. Glad we tried it because we now have a new favorite restaurant. The boiled crawfish were the largest and best I've had this season. I was very tempted to order the Crawfish Cornbread. The table next to us got it with crawfish etouffee on top. It looked so delicious. The drinks were also a big hit. read more

Had the Mahi mahi and boiled shrimp for entrees. All cooked well and tasty. Mahi did have bones in it which made for an unpleasant feeling but that's fish for you. Voodoo shrimp was amazing, that sauce needs to be bottled. Cute place and friendly people! read more

Needed some good food so we came here. Let's start with the bad, they water down the liquor. I am a lightweight I am gone after 1 shot, we took 3 shots and I felt nothing so that is disappointing. The good, we came as a group and they seated us without any issues and the customer service was great. The food was really good we tried almost everything on the menu and it was delicious. I'd definitely be back but wouldn't get any alcohol because you won't get your monies worth. read more

Under new management! TBH my friends and I stopped going here for last few years, the food and restaurant was going to hell. With the quality of food going down and prices going up it didn't take long to tank. Finally new owners stepped up and they have a lot of experience in success. They have done great with getting the kitchen and staff motivated and the quality of food is on point! They actually serve Louisiana channel catfish and Louisiana fresh shrimp, butterflied and breaded in house!!! Not some frozen out the bag stuff! Yeah you pay a little extra for fresh seafood but your not going to crawdaddys to save money, your going here to eat great food. I got the lunch fish and shrimp and they were full sized filets and big jumbo shrimp. Our waiter brain was very good at his job, we never wanted for anything, even as busy as it was he multi tasked very well and had us rolling when we were talking. I will definitely ask for him again. But I noticed the other servers were hustling just as much as Brian so I don't see I service ever being an issue. They are adding a new bar next door as well so I'll have to see how that looks when open. Btw they have a loyalty program, be sure to sign up with your server if you're going to be a regular. My visit was okay. 1/3 of my fried green tomatoes had no coating on on 1 side of them. Some of my fried shrimp had no coating. I will assume that one of the regular cooks were not at work today since my fried dishes were not on point at all. The crawfish ettoufee tasted like flour. The flavor was not present today. The fries and hush puppies were good. read more

Get here as quickly as you can. Holy moly what a wonderful restaurant!! The crawfish were seasoned perfectly . Seriously i had a euphoric experience when i bit into the fried green Tomatoes.... You could just order this and be good... The fettuccine Alfredo was made fresh noodles made fresh and there was some thing about it that I couldn't put my finger on but I've never tasted before and it was absolutely divine. Fried alligator cooked to perfection with love. The Boudin balls were perfectly crispy on the outside but still nice and tender on the inside. Definitely be back this place was amazingly delicious and the staff was nice and kind. You can tell that they been around and it looks like a ole cookout spot on the inside with memorabilia that just makes you feel like you're home . read more

First time visiting since new ownership. Interior has a new fresh look with pictures from NOLA. They still had crawfish and it was only $5 lb. Seldom have I had crawfish this late in the year but it was only second this year to the Jute Joint in Ocean Springs. Yes I travel for crawfish. Also had crawfish corn bread their specialty and pickled green tomatoes. Very happy we decided to visit today. Also the music was much better than with previous owner. Mainly 80s and 90s country, from Willie to Alan Jackson. Server was fantastic. read more

Amazing. Food and services were great. Thanks Darius for the great service and cocktails!!

Becky made us feel as welcome as if we were having lunch with old friends. The food was fantastic. The boudin balls are the best we've ever had (and we've had some amazing boudin over the years, homemade and store bought.) The chicken and andouille sausage gumbo is full of flavor, with a rich roux, yet not too spicy. The DAT sauce was so good we bought some to take home. Say yes to the cole slaw and especially the pickles - you will not be worry. We will definitely be back for boiled crawfish once the season resumes. read more

This is the worst place for crawfish. We spent $240 for some takeout, and please believe when I tell you that I wouldn't have fed that to my dog. We thought we'd give it another go since the last time we were there several years ago and it was disgusting then. It is so hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that someone who is employed there actually bagged that garbage up and allowed it to sell for $240. read more

The food was amazing!! We had the best waitress!! Her name was Kay, and she gave great recommendations! These two appetizers were amazing, the crawfish cornbread and the crawfish queso. We also had the Acadiana seafood platter and added a side of etouffee with rice and also red beans and rice. The two of us shared it all and took home plenty of leftovers! We will be back! Absolutely wonderful food & service! Definitely recommend this place for your Cajun fix!

Unfortunately I was a little disappointed this visit. The host was visibly upset about being at work. I tried a pleasant thank you to invoke a smile w/o success. I didn't catch our servers name but she was outstanding. Efficient and friendly. Food: We ordered the Cajun Swamp fries ($10). They seam to be shrinking in size. Good but small. For an entree we ordered a small fried fish ($11) it's huge and plenty enough to share. But took 25 minutes to be delivered: We both ordered cups of étouffée ($7) x2. They arrived 5 minutes after the entree when we wanted to smother the fish with it. So the entree sat additional minutes waiting. The étouffée was extremely blond and the flour wasn't fully cooked. 3 beers (?) we weren't presented a check. Dinner for 2 came to $56. Umm $10+$11+$14= $35 WTF?!?? How much were those beers? $7 each? I will absolutely as for a paper receipt moving forward. read more
