First of all - let me mention that it was because of recommendations on Facebook's Long Island Business Review page, as well as Merrick/Bellmore Moms and Dads; which made me go to this store and search for him, specifically - so social media makes a difference! From the moment we stepped into the store, Shake greeted us with a warm smile. He took the time to understand our needs and recommended the perfect LG Dishwasher that exceeded our expectations. Shake did not pressure us at all; instead, he patiently answered all of our questions and really educated us on the features and differences among the various models. Additionally, while he was the first person we spoke to when we started comparing models and prices, he encouraged us to go and shop around, and to give him the opportunity to see if he could give us the best price once we had. Not only did Shake provide expert product knowledge, but he also went above and beyond to ensure we received the best deal possible. His professionalism, honesty, and dedication to customer satisfaction truly set him apart. Thanks to Shake, we not only found the ideal appliance but also saved a significant amount of money. I highly recommend Shake Ishtiaq to anyone seeking outstanding service and unbeatable prices.

Purchased a 2014, 42 foot boat with electronics that are 7 years old…read more Marine stereo wasn't working and wanted to update to newer multifunction displays. Also wanted a flir night vision camera as we go fishing when it's dark. Wanted an amp that would increase depths for my fishfinders I contacted Marine Electronics two brothers and two helpers who pretty much hand the brothers tools. They arrived at my dock3 weeks after they committed to come. That was a bad sign but with covid par for the course. No foul there. So we decided we would do the following: Replace 2 mfd displays with the same brand furuno, took a couple hours plug & play Get stereo working could not fix the old fusion stereo, said the amps 2 were blown Went out got 2 amps put them in ( over a full day to do so) I provided the new fusion stereo Install a new amp for the fishfinder included in the new mfd's, told me no problem the amp would work with the new displays..... they cut off the harness to the network tried to rewire by splicing all the wires after 2 days told me the amp would not work with the new displays 2 days wasted and billed for. While they were mounting the box for the amp drilled holes through my helm station which i get to look at every time i take boat out! They put stainless screws so you just see the screws Apologized said I'll give you $300 to get it fixed!!! Told them you screwed it up you fix it. 3 phone calls 3 texts still there. The stereo blows an 80 amp fuse at the battery and only works each time I replace about 2 days. The flir installation is installed supposed to work as a split screen or a quarter screen so you can also use the screen for navigation, only works full screen so when ur driving at night have to use other screen not right in front of you. Nightmare switching back and forth The price of the flir. $3,500 unit 2-amps- $750 each unit Charged me $11,900 included fixing so many issues that they got wrong the first time. So the bottom line is i have no stereo Night vision that only works full screen If your looking for a high priced Marine Electrician that works by trial & error. These guys are for you

Went here recently to get a Pokemon card graded, now being my second time trying to do the process…read morewith GameStop. I now know not to ever use them again. Every time I go they are unbelievably unkind and outright rude. The man behind the counter asked me if I had an account (I thought he meant a Pro account) and I said no, and he then almost completely just disregarded me going back to helping another women. Thankfully my phone number was linked to my free account so was able to get past that. Otherwise just totally depressing being here, said thanks for the help and all I get back is a "yep". Will now only be grading through CGC after this submission is over as a result. Mind you- this wasn't some $5 card, it was for a 1 of 1 Jungle Persian signed by Matthew Sussman (voice actor of Meowth). Even let the guy keep the change, next time I'll take my pennies somewhere else!

Had an issue with this store, where I discovered they (and other GameStops) were fraudulently…read moreoffering "extended warranties" on PS5's, by processing them as "defective returns". According to their employees, nearly going out of business a few years ago, GameStop starting changing policies and recently put in place a requirement that employees must input serial numbers from the consoles before "defecting" them. This means that individuals with brand new machines, have to exchange them for refurbished or pre-owned systems to extend the warranties. After being forced to do this, I received THREE BROKEN systems, in one week. The first wouldn't even initialize for setup, the second would run for about 5 minutes (which I video recorded) and the third my son managed to get going for 2 hours before it crashed. Most of the store personnel are decent, Nick and Chris who did the first and second "Defective returns" were cool enough. Lindo who did the third one was extremely kind and polite, almost to the point it makes you less upset with the store. FRANK, the guy who I spoke to for the fourth return, was literally one of the worst human beings I've ever met. He immediately demanded I come back Monday (I.E. wait all weekend) to speak with Nick. He refused to look up the receipt in his system, pretending like he couldn't until I pointed out every other employee could, which is when he said that he didn't care to do it. Frank wouldn't check to see if he had a compatible system left in the store, unless I first wiped the last PS5 they gave me of my accounts and dragged it in to the store, to potentially find out they didn't even have another one. He stated he wouldn't test any console beyond powering it on to make sure it actually starts. Said he wouldn't call Nick (the store manager), contact a district manager, or any other form of management. GameStop can thank FRANK for the Consumer Fraud complaint I spent two hours filing tonight with the Attorney Generals Consumer Fraud Department, detailing the stores deceptive practices that have now wasted around 20-30 hours of my time and left me with 3 defective systems in one week. GameStop's Better Business Bureau rating of 1.07 out of 5, which includes hundreds of atrocious reviews describing conflicts and scams with returns, refunds, customer service, conflicting information and rude treatment from staff, explains it all. Googling yields a long list of articles explaining how GameStop has been heavily scamming customers for years, trying to steal money from them on everything from online orders to refunds and warranties. The BBB also lists how GameStop will drag out warranty problems so long, the warranties lapse and then refuse to honor them. Most of the people working there seem to be decent kids, or retirees just trying to make a few bucks, with the exception of FRANK who actually makes me sick, but GameStop needs to close up shop.
