I warned you!…read more I went in to fix my iPhone 6 because the screen shattered on one corner and I was in desperate need to get it back up running since the screen went black. Apple Store was closed at the time and I said let me try these people. Bad idea. An obscure older Indian man and his hard-of-hearing son approached me and said we can fix this for $175. I said you're out of your mind. The father then plead with me and said I'll give you a competitive price of $150 but "my son is deaf and lives his life on honesty". I ignored the bullshit and said fine fine take my money- I just need my phone. Lo and behold, it was a month later where I noticed the glass separating from the LCD screen. I went back and asked these guys to re-seal the glass. He said okay, but it'll cost $125. Unbelievable!!!! I then went back to demand my money back and their neighbor said they took off to India for a month!! Scammers!!! I decided to just go to the Apple Store and have them replace the screen for me (which cost me $100 flat) - the guy told me straight up that the 3rd party vendor used a boot leg screen from China and charged me probably double. An individual greeted us at the door, spoke to us through a slot in the door, took our laptop while we were standing outside in the cold. We were unable to enter the business like any other business. The place was situated like a fortress. I had delt with this business previously, and what we experienced this time was surprising. My first visit, I was able to enter the business, there was a counter where I was able to place my laptop, and spoke with the technician face to face. This time it was totally different and disgusting, to say the least. He might be an excellent technician, with cost very reasonable, but the business appearance is unacceptable. This is a small community business I would love to support, but the customer service is very poor. Because of this, I would not recommend this business to anyone because of this. I can't say enough good things about Jean's computer repair. I was up against a deadline for…read moremedical school, and my computer (MacBook Pro) wouldn't turn on, and was making ominous noises. I was extremely upset and overwhelmed at the prospect of not getting my work done in time. Fortunately, Jean saved the day. I took my computer into his shop at 5:30pm on Thursday. He called me at 8:00pm that evening to let me know what was going on and to give me a price estimate ($150). He let me know I could pick it up any time after noon the following day. I stopped by at 1pm, and had my laptop back in perfect working order at exactly the price he gave me. In fact, my computer works better/faster than it did before I took it in, and he cleaned the keyboard and screen as well. I got a few quotes from near by places but they seemed astronomically high and all I wanted was a simple screen repair, especially because I was leaving to Europe in a couple of days. I put out project request via Yelp and that's when I came across Trufyx - and to be quite honest, I'm really happy I did. Their price was fair for the model of my phone. They came to my apartment and had one of their representatives take my phone and fixed it in under 15 minutes, and I had my phone back good as new. My only feedback is the screen used isn't an Apple screen so I did get a notification stating "this device was repaired not using an Apple product" but I didn't particularly care for that because I know I could have gone to Apple for their repair services but the price didn't align with my budget.

Came in around noon on Thursday to repair a 1st Generation iPad mini and was told the repair wouldn't be done in an hour but until the next day. I accepted. The next day(Friday) I never got a call about it being ready. I went back Saturday around noon to be told it still wasn't repaired. When I asked for it back to go elsewhere, my iPad mini wasn't in the store to get it back. SOL. The red haired girl told me to come back later the evening when Jesse gets in.She then called me later that evening to let me know it was ready. Once I got there I explained nicely to the other worker Jesse how I was inconvenienced by two days for an hour repair. Jesse said he can only compensate me with an apology and that he was swamped with devices. He also stated that I should've stressed to the red haired girl why I needed the iPad ready by the following day. By then, I told him I am not paying him $80 for his issues but I'll pay him $60. He got upset picked up my money that I placed on the counter along with a phone and attempted to throw it at me. I asked him to please let me out of the store which he was hesitant about. For the terrible service and attempt to lock me in the store, I still paid them $70. Don't even come here if you're desperate. Spend your money elsewhere.
