We recently had our Tesla repaired at Superior Auto Body after it was hit while parked. From the moment I walked into Superior, Pablo was extremely helpful and professional. He was a great communicator and kept us updated throughout the entire repair and insurance process. He also went above and beyond to help coordinate the pickup of our vehicle. The entire team went the extra mile, including detailing the car before we picked it up. The customer service and attention to detail were outstanding, as the repair is absolutely perfect. I highly recommend Superior Auto Body and would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family. Great job, Pablo and Superior Team! read more

A few weeks ago, my car was side-swiped on the driver's side, damaging the front door, rear door, and quarter panel. Unfortunately, I don't have any before photos. After contacting my insurance company, they provided me with a list of approved repair shops. I chose Superior Auto Body because they're the only Tesla-certified shop in my area, and I was able to get an appointment that same morning. They performed an initial inspection and took my car in immediately. From start to finish, my point of contact was Jr., and he made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He kept me informed throughout the repair, answered all of my questions, and made sure I knew what to expect every step of the way. About two weeks later, the repairs were complete, and the car looked fantastic. Like any quality paint job, I knew I'd need to bring it back after the paint had time to cure for the final finishing. I returned it two weeks later, and after three more days, the finish was absolutely perfect. The quality of the workmanship exceeded my expectations, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right--not just good enough. A special thank you to Jr. for his outstanding customer service and professionalism. If you need a body shop, especially for a Tesla, I highly recommend Superior Auto Body. A+ service from start to finish. read more

I can't say enough great things about Andres at Auto Superior Body Shop! From the moment I met him he was professional, courteous, and genuinely invested in helping me. My daughter needed work done on her car, and Andres went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of. He also delivered the car on the promised date. While he wasn't the cheapest option out there, but he was willing to come down a bit on price to earn our business, which says a lot about his integrity and commitment to his customers. We did have a couple of issues at pick up, but he quickly resolved it and promised to take care of any problems should they arise later. His commitment to customer service is why I gave 5 starts. If you're looking for someone you can trust with your vehicle, especially for something as important as body work, Andres is your guy. We're so grateful for his help and won't hesitate to come back or refer friends and family. Thank you, Andres! read more

Superior Auto Body is the best and fastest spot in Chula Vista. It's a family-owned business that has grown over the past thirty years. This location works really well with insurance, which is how I found them. I got rear-ended, and Jr. took great care of my car and its damages. Everyone there is super friendly and kind. You can tell they have a blast working together and really respect each other. Their passion for what they do really shows, and I knew my car was in good hands. They were also very informative, and the communication was excellent while they had my car. I would highly recommend this location. Plus, they're rated 2nd out of 74 for Tesla repairs in Southern California. I appreciate everything this business has done for me during this inconvenience. You will too! read more

I unfortunately got into a little fender bender on both the front and rear bumper of my car. My insurance company referred me to their auto body shop in Chula Vista, Superior Auto body. I worked with Junior at Superior to deal with the repairs. Junior was very helpful and efficient in dealing with this claim. I was in and out of the shop for the appraisal, drop off and pick up of the car. The overall color match and work on the car was pretty good. I did notice a couple of chips and imperfections. Otherwise I would have definitely gave 5 stars. I do recommend Superior Auto body. They did a good job on the car. Junior was friendly and handled the paperwork quickly. read more

Great, honest auto repair shop. I called for a last minute appointment, and they were able to see me right away. They conducted a thorough examination of my car to identify the problem. It ended up being a bodywork issue, so they didn't charge me and recommended a good shop to take my car too. read more

Hands down the best collision repair experience I've ever had. I brought in my 2026 Tesla Model Y LR-AWD Launch Series to Superior Auto Body in Chula Vista after a minor rear-end accident, and from start to finish, the service was exceptional. Andres Sánchez, our point of contact, went above and beyond. He ordered parts ahead of time before I even dropped off the car to speed up the repair timeline. He explained everything clearly, handled the entire claim with Allstate without me needing to lift a finger, and constantly kept me in the loop. When I picked up the car, it was spotless, fully detailed and looking better than new. To top it off, he even repaired a small paint chip that wasn't related to the accident, completely complimentary. That kind of attention to detail and care is almost unheard of these days. If you drive a Tesla (or any car, really) and want to feel truly taken care of, Superior Auto Body is the place to go. I'll never take my vehicle anywhere else, Andres and his team have earned a lifelong customer. read more

I got into a few fender benders (not my fault) and Andres helped me out both times. He was in constant communication about what was going on and his shop did all of the repairs flawlessly. I can't speak for value for big jobs but he's a fair and honest person. I needed a new driver's side mirror and he gave me the Allstate price for the replacement and paint job. They have an SMS system that keeps you updated on progress and everyone has always been extremely helpful and friendly. I doubt I will go anywhere else for body work. read more

Andres and his team were amazing. I brought my Tesla Model Y in because it was side swiped. They took such good care of me and treated me great. Great communication through calls, text and email. When I needed rides he hooked me up with those too. I'm very happy with The service and support I received from them and would definitely go back again read more

I called in the morning and let them know what happened to my bumper that was just falling off. I sent the guy pics of my bumper and he said the bumper replacement would be $1000 and to fix it, I would need to bring it in. I brought it in without an appointment and he quoted me $120 for two hours with no guarantees that the bumper will stay on because I didn't want to replace it. It was done in less than an hour and it looks pretty good for them just bolting it down. See photos. Fast, efficient, and great quality. I would go back! read more

Andres was hands down the best Tesla collision advisor I have dealt with. He was honest in his estimate and kept me informed throughout the whole process. He would check in periodically to give us updates. The car was delivered way before the estimated completion date. I hope to not need Superior auto body's services in the future but I will definitely use them and recommend to anyone looking for a Tesla certified shop. The only location to go in the South Bay. Thank you for your service. read more

Did a high quality and excellent job in my car.Thank to JR ,very nice and helpful person

I was sent by Allstate to this repair shop. As soon as I entered the office, I noticed no one, absolutely none of the personnel had face masks on while customers where indoors. This is totally ridiculous considering it's been a year since the pandemic began and the people in this business should know. As soon as I asked if face-masks were not required, the people in charge became aggressive and told me it was up to each customer. Really? CDC guidelines and mandates apply to everyone, businesses included, not to whoever wants to do it or not. I'm surprised and greatly concerned that the city hasn't closed this business that obviously doesn't give a damn about public health as long as it takes your money. Also surprised Allstate recommends this unsanitary COVID-19 hotspot. read more

Rented a car through enterprise and when we returned the vehicle, there was a dent on the roof. The DENT was the size of a softball, if not smaller, about 4-5 inches long and 2-3 inches wide. They quoted my insurance company $1,857.61! For a dent on the roof. Apparently they have to remove the windshield and replace the whole roof. So instead of fixing the dent, which almost every repair shop can do, they're quoting to replace the whole roof! I wouldn't want to imagine how much other people paid to get their car fixed there. read more

On July 4th my car was rear ended while parked... ruined my vacation since it was literally 1hr into it... anyways my insurance company right away helped me out. I had my car in the shop by July 8th since I was still out of town. Jr. Sanchez was my contact the entire time very helpful and polite I have nothing bad to say at all. My car was there for a little less than a month since one of the parts was on back order (not the shops fault) can't blame them for that. Once I got my car back August 3rd I was very please with the work! Looks better than it did before the hit and run. Paint was blended and unless you are looking very hard you can't see anything showing a repair was done. Everything looks factory. All parts are OEM and paint very good quality! Thank you to everyone at Superior Auto Body. And thank you Jr. Sanchez. read more

Terrible attitude from a guy named hector. He acts as if hated his job. Very curt and close minded. Never talked to me straight to my face and he had this attitude like f*** off and go away. I asked him if they could give me a better deal and he responded: "why would I give you a better deal? Your not my friend! I don't even know you! Take your car from here to a cheap place where they'll give you cheaper prices and cheaper results if you can't afford a high quality shop!" I wasn't asking this a** hole to work for free!!! I just thought that the price was extremely high for what it needed to be done but then he said that they mostly work for Allstate insurance and that they pay them whatever they want to charge so they didn't need little jobs like mine, that if I wanted them to fix my car I would have to pay what ever they wanted to charge me and what they would charge to the insurance companies. I took it to Bennys Auto Body and they did an amazing job and charged a great price without even asking for a discount (about 40% less) same work with same new parts replacement and a MUCH BETTER ATTITUDE!!! read more

Awesome job!!! My car looks like new... and outstanding customer service... Jr (Hector) is amazing....

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO START I WOULD. I contacted this shop after a church sister praised on their service. After contacting them and asked about coming down for an estimate, the rep that answered advised that they were open til 6pm and to come on down. I advised it would be about an hour, and I arrived within that time. Upon arrival, the rep that approached me asked what I needed and I responded that I had called and another rep said to come down; he began to ask about the work and if it was an insurance claim. I advised that I needed the quote written to me and I would deal with my insurance. He walked out to my car, looked at it and then told me that I needed an appointment to get an estimate, after !nother rep told me to come down. NEVER GO HERE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

Some time ago I had some repair work done here and they did a good job. Part of the work included repairing two wheels. Wanted to continue doing business with them but I will never come back. Brought in a wheel for repair and totally put off by the response. "We don't just repair wheels, and I can't tell you who we sent your last wheels to. Go to one of those tire discount stores." Okay, I will take my business elsewhere. Oh by the way, I also wanted to discuss repairing body damage to my wife's Jeep - I will take that to another business too. read more

Never recommend this shop. My insurance referred this place to fix my car. After picking up my car from the shop my car is having many problems. I do not recommend this place! Do NOT use! My insurance uses this place so I thought they would be legit. It took them 2 weeks to get work done, after I picked up my car I noticed my wipers weren't working right, I called and Hector said to take back which they fix BUT my windshield was damage while there care. Now I have a crack going across my windshield. Notified my insurance, I called them and no call back! Not to mention the front side bumper is coming out. Bad repair!! Even if your insurance has them listed I would NOT recommend!! When I picked up car, Hector watches you fill out survey, I gave them okay review but wanted to influence my answers! WTH? I shared my experience with Allstate. read more
