Initially called while it was raining and since I did not have a dry area to park the vehicle, Shane requested that I schedule with him after the weather cleared up. He was able to come out the day after I called him the second time. Shane stayed in communication via text when he was running behind at the Oakland airport and updated me on what time he would be at my doorstep in Castro Valley. The work was superior, and prices were more than fair. Shane did excellent and timely work, and also gifted me with stickers to keep moisture out of future chips because I drive a Jeep so we KNOW there will be future chips. Thanks to Shane I will be a returning customer. read more

A rock chipped my windshield yesterday and left a quarter sized chip so I went on yelp and came across Superglass as the first recommendation. Shane responded to my request right away and was quick to respond to all my other messages. He came to my apartment the next morning and helped me file a claim with my car insurance and fixed the chip in half an hour. The chip after it was fixed is literally smaller than another chip that I had that was originally smaller to begin with! Shane was also a wonderful guy to talk to and I will definitely be contacting him if I need my glass repaired again. read more

Shane is the best! Driving down 880 on a Saturday morning (yes, another 880 victim...), a rock hit my window and created a chip and a cross sized crack. Not wanting it to spread, I needed to find someone to take care of it. I saw the great reviews for Shane and Superglass and decided to give him a call. I left a message, but Shane called back within 15 minutes and was even able to get out to me pretty quick that same day. I know that I must have gotten to him at a good time in his schedule, but I did appreciate the prompt response. He said he'd come take a look and if he couldn't fix it, he wouldn't charge me. I gave him the go ahead to start the work and he took care of it. I can't even tell that there was a crack there and can barely see where he filled the chip. Excellent work, prompt response, very professional. Talking to him, he's been at it for over 15 years! Next time I have window problems I'll definitely be giving him a call and you should too if you have a crack/chip in your window! read more

This guy is really good - he fixed a crack next to the edge of my windshield which was very tough since too much pressure could have made the crack spread and too little would have not pulled the air out. He went little by little until he got to the right pressure - no crack spread! Wow! read more

I had a crack on my windshield a few months ago and my insurance referred me to Shane. Shane is a very down to earth and friendly guy, he showed up on time, he did a superb job and the crack is barely noticeable! The second time he came out to fix a crack on my other car's windshield, I couldn't believe my eyes, the crack just disappeared, I couldn't even tell where it was. I would highly recommend Shane to anyone, he does a great job and would definitely call him up again for any future repairs! read more

Thank you for fast, efficient service. I appreciate the convenience of coming to my residence. Super Glass was recommended by my insurance initially but I'm inclined to recommend Shane's services to anyone I know. He was friendly and professional. He came right at the earlier side of the 10am-12pm range he said he would be at my residence. He called before just like he said he would. I really appreciate his follow through and expedience. Thank you!!! read more

After wasting time with another so called glass repair company who I decided to not let touch my car because they wanted to replace the whole windshield I called up Shane at Superglass Windshield Repair to fix a chip in my windshield of my brand new car that I've had for barely 2 months and he went above and beyond to set up a time to repair my windshield. Shane called at the exact time of the window he gave me for arrival and said he was on his way. He arrived and got right to work and fixed what he said was an easy repair although this other so called company told me the windshield needed to be replaced. Needless to say I am beyond satisfied with the repair Shane did and you can't even tell where the chip was. He will definitely be who I'll call and refer family and friends to for windshield repairs. read more

Shane was prompt and professional. He called me before he was on his way and in no time was able to repair the dime-sized chip on my passenger side windshield. Kind of wish I took a before picture to show proof of the results. His rates are comparable and even better than other shops I contacted. And the major plus is he comes to you! Please give him a call you won't regret it. read more

Shane is the best! I had a couple chips on my windshield and saw this on yelp, and figure I'd give this guy a shot on fixing the chips. His professionalism and customer service is outstanding with his work being amazing making chips look like nothing. Will definitely call this guy back for future windshield chips! I called Shane because I had a crack in my windshield. He scheduled an appointment with me and came to my house to look at it. What a nice surprise! I got my windshield hit by a rock in 880. Unfortunately, I call him after I tried to fix it myself. If your window has a chip or crack, don't try to use a windshield kit from the store! He still fixed my crack even after I tried to fix it(Most of business probable would not do it). Now, my windshield will last a few more year! I was way satisfied by the service. It is highlighted with quick and honest response with a good craftsmanship! read more

Shane provides professional and quality service. I will never use anyone else if possible.

My insurance company, (Ameriprise) recommended that I let Superglass fix a dinky meteor chip right in the dead center part of my windshield that I look through when driving. I was very concerned because I could have had the whole windshield replaced for free with my low comprehensive damage coverage (zero deductible). But, I thought it wouldn't hurt to try the novis repair first on the small chip. Bottom line is that Shane fixed it quick, in under an hour, and that was even in cold weather after it had rained for two days before. Shane advised me 2 days earlier to put a clear strip of packaging tape over the affected chip area to keep the moisture out. That did the trick and helped to have no complications on the novis repair. So Superglass Windhshield Repair did amazing work. Now....if I can just get Shane to jack up my steering wheel and slide a whole brand-new vehicle underneath it, I'd be very happy!! read more

Shane was prompt and did an amazing job. He told me I had a really bad chip that could have spidered off (compliments of our big rigs on 880 with no mud flaps!). Once he was done it was nearly gone. Highly recommend! read more

Insurance company recommended and I agree! Great service and crack in windshield is completely invisible. Will use again!

Great service! I had a dime size chip on my windshield and it's nearly invisible now. Came to my house earlier and was very helpful!

Shane is the only guy I'd ever use. He fixed a couple of cracks a few years ago, and again this month. In both cases, he was able to fix them so well you couldn't even tell there ever was a crack. The first time he came, he fixed a crack that had supposedly been "fixed" by another company, but apparently they hadn't done a very good job. I didn't realize at the time that it was possible to fix a crack so it's not even visible. On top of being ever so effective, Shane is very professional, and timely. There's clearly a big difference in the quality of "fixes", so I'd highly recommend Shane. There's a reason the rental car places at the Oakland airport use his services! read more

I called Superglass first since they have the best yelp reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. I had a similar experience as all the other great reviews. Shane was extremely easy to deal with. I was able to make a quick appointment, he came on time, he's very experienced and easy to deal with. I also found his price very reasonable, as I wasn't using insurance. You couldn't hope for a better experience. read more

Driving home from Thanksgiving dinner on Hwy 880, a rock hits my windshield! After getting home, I took a look at the damage. There were two impact points (rock with two sharp edges??) with several little cracks radiating outwards (total about 1-inch in diameter). The next day I Yelped for windshield repair services and found Superglass Windshield Repair. Called and made an appt. with Shane. He came later in the day. It was one of the nastier rock chips he's seen. He wasn't sure if he could save the windshield because of the multiple cracks, but he was going to try. He slowly injected the resin and carefully applied pressure to get the resin into all the cracks. When he finished, there was only a slight mark. It looked great compared to what it looked like before the repair! Shane did an amazing job! read more
