Omar and his team (2 gentlemen who worked on my car on 9/23/26 AM) were great! I was looking for a place who could replace a regulator, and decided to go with Vetro Auto Glass solely because Omar was very nice and professional when I made a phone inquiry. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly by a gentleman who was cleaning their van outside and he already knew what's to be done with my car (good internal communication!). I brought the parts, and the installation was done in literally 15 minutes. They were very efficient (obviously) and genuinely nice, and they seem to have good work relationship by the way they interacted. Very nice to see. Also, I found their quote pretty fair. I wholeheartedly recommend them! read more

I spoke to someone a few days ago and they said they will call me back. I went to Honda and they told me it was an after market windshield. Omar gave me a really good deal but to not deliver what was promised is not good business. I didnt have a broken windshield when I came in, I literally only changed it so I can fix the sensors so I can get then lane assist portion of my car to work. Honda said that the 3rd party windshields dont work right. Why was this done without discussing with me first. I should have been given the option to pay more (since the owner clearly didnt like the quote i was given) or told that it was a 3rd party. I wanted Honda original parts. $680 is a lot of money to throw away. How will you guys fix this? Also I have to communicate through yelp because they didnt return my call and they dont have an email I can reply to. read more

I needed the rear-window replaced on my Chrysler Pacifica. I got an appointment same day, and Luis and helper showed up right in the middle of the time window and finished the job in less time than they had estimated. The price was very fair and the work was well done. This is the second auto glass job Vetro has done for me, and I am very pleased with both read more

Our daughter came over to visit us and unfortunately someone smashed her window and stole her laptop. It was a Saturday night and we needed to replace her window so that she could meet her appointments on Monday. I call several glass repair shops on Sunday. But only Omar was willing to leave a personal event and come over and repair the window. Thank you Omar. You were a life saving. My daughter really appreciate it. read more

Noticed that my windshield had a very large crack while driving to work and found Vetro on google. Got in touch with the shop for a quote and spoke to Jen who was able to get me one really quickly. Luckily I was able to make an appointment for later in the week! Went to the shop today and got outstanding service from Omar and Luis. Was in and out of the shop in about an hour and a half. Amazing work and the quality is superb. Thank you so much to the team at Vetro for making this nightmare of an experience a very pleasant one in the end. read more

It's been a few days now since I've had my windshield replaced, and I highly recommend this location. Luis was great and did an amazing job with replacing my windshield. He was quick and efficient, and very friendly. The other two gentlemen, were extremely kind and helpful in regard to addressing my questions. I also loved that I was seen the same day. I called at 2pm and took my car in at 3:30pm, and I was out in no time. Thank you Vetro Glass employees. I'll definitely let my friends and family know to come here if they need quick service! read more

I came here after the first 2 shops I visited turned me away. I have a Mazda MX-5 that has a plastic molding around the windshield that flew off on the highway. Windshield was fine but the first 2 shops said they don't work on plastic (however, it's part of the windshield replacement process). Omar greeted me, looked at my car and said he would consult his technician and get me a quote. I got the quote next day, paid a deposit, and they completed the work in 1 hour. The entire process was seamless, and their prices are very honest (I knew how much the plastic part was, just did not have the confidence to work on it myself). I HIGHLY recommend you use Vetro Auto Glass. They have a high level of customer service. read more

Completely delighted with the service from these folks. I chatted via Yelp with Luna who helped me quickly and easily get an assessment of what was needed to fix my broken windshield for my Tesla Model 3. They were able to schedule me for same-day service at their shop in Hayward. Luna was friendly and efficient; so were the technicians who did the windshield replacement. They did the job faster than they quoted, and the workmanship was great. Overall customer service was fantastic, too: good manners and friendly demeanor from everybody involved. Payment was easy, and most of the transaction was handled either from mobile messaging or email. This was a huge contrast from trying to do the same thing with Safelite (they mis-represented their service, canceled my appointment same-day after delaying it twice). I could go on, but mostly I want to point out how exceptional Bayarea Autoglass Depot was with their service experience. I would take my business back to them and I recommend them to anybody else in the Hayward area or even on the other side of the San Mateo Bridge! read more

I would first like to say thank you to Omar for making me feel so comfortable and so welcome. I had a windshield replacement because Safelite really messed my windshield up and all I had was a very small crack. Then wanted me to pay a large deductible. So I called around and by the Grace of God I found Vetro and I am very grateful. They got me in very quickly and Luis did an exceptionally great job. I highly recommend this company if you want to be treated fairly and with the respect and professionalism you deserve! read more

Five Stars for their technician Luis. He very eloquently explained the situation as to why my windshield glass is leaking and how glass sealant works. I opted for a less expensive option to repair my issue, rather than a full removal and reinstallation of my windshield. The work that they did is flawless. I am taking the chance that it may not fully stop leaking, but for the price and the convenience it is well worth the risk. read more

Someone broke my passenger window in hopes to find some valuables in my glove compartment - only to find masks and napkins. Who actually puts valuables in their cars anymore. Seriously. I didn't want to drive to an auto shop and get glass everywhere so I searched for a mobile auto shop and Bay Area Auto Glass Depot was the first to get back to me. I have a Toyota Prius and he quoted me at $289 (including a discount) with lifetime warranty and someone would drive over to fix it same day. He took a $50 deposit and a mechanic would come in about 3 hours. It sounded a little pricey, but for same day repair and mobile service, I didn't mind the price. I just wanted to get my window fix ASAP and hope karma gets who ever broke my window. Armando arrived 15mins after the stated timeframe, but I was informed and noted that he was coming to SF from Hayward. He was professional and very quick. Took about 30-40mins. He cleaned and vacuumed all the glass (even the dirt in my car!) and on the ground :) He informed us when he was done and we payed via credit card the rest of the bill. Overall, very happy with the service and my new window! read more

They (Omar) responded very quickly to my service request, and they had a technician out to fix my window the next morning. The technician made sure to test the new window operations with me to ensure it worked properly and he did a great job cleaning out the broken glass. (Thanks Jose). They also worked with me to save some money when the insurance quote wouldn't cover the full amount. Overall, a great service experience and id happily recommend them to friends. read more

Fell victim to a smash and grab event in the city of Oakland. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from parking your car here even for a few hours especially nowadays, and SF included as crime/ vandalization rates are at an all time high right now. Anyway, so glad I found Bay Area Auto Glass Depot. Omar was a pleasant representative to speak with and responded to my quote request in a timely manner. He quickly deployed one of his tech staff Luis to my location to help replace my Driver Side Quarter Panel Glass, Driver Side Rear Door Glass. Luis was helpful and even took off the door panel to shake out and vacuum up all the glass debris. He suggested that I get an interior detail soon so that the rest of the glass shards can be removed. Though he did clean up the majority of the mess the thieves left. I think he was able to get the window replacement done in less than 2 hrs. Overall, great business for all your glass needs as well as superb employees who can execute the job with quality service and integrity. read more

I have been away for the last 4 months and I barely used my car. Today I noticed after my drive that the rubber seal on the top potion is off. These photos were of when I tried to place it back. I have not contacted them yet. Since I just noticed this. I'm hoping they I'm met with no pushback about fixing this. I will be msging the company for sure. STAY Tuned! !!UPDATE!! I called the next morning. I was well received. I initially asked about their hours to bring in my car. But with my warranty and because of my schedule prince scheduled one of their employees to come to my home and fix the problem. The following morning the worker came fixed the problem and we're good as new. I'm hopeful that this lasts. read more
