It's been a few years since I've reviewed this location, so what better time for an update than while I'm sitting and waiting for my husband to have his hair cut?! I think this location is improved since my last review. The flux in stylists seems to have settled down, and the current staff are all very good! They listen to what you want done, even if you're not so good at describing what you really want! Leah and Liana are our "regulars" and they are fantastic. They do haircuts for us both, and Leah colors my hair. I'm always pleased with the results! The store itself is always clean, which is great. The waits can get a little bit long, but they're almost always on time for what they quote you when you check in. They have a great selection of products as well. A little pricey, but good stuff is available. All in all, this is a great Supercuts location! read more

This is a very nice location! We walked in and my husband and my daughter were taking immediately. The lady who worked on my daughter was very kind and very gentle with her. She really took her time to make sure that the cut was even the look was just right and I was very pleased with the service. We will definitely be back. read more

Collette cut my extremely long gray hair. She recommended cutting off almost 3 inches which I expected as it hadn't been cut in a while and I had decided to get it cut because it was looking pretty scraggly. I was surprised at how lovely my gray was looking particularly the very white front streak, Collette let me know she had used a clarifying purple shampoo on my hair. I also asked for a blowout and she mentioned that I had a lot of hair. I related that when I was younger I had near double the volume and we discussed hair shedding and recommended Paul Michel's baby shampoo that prevents the shedding. Collette was so lovely and knowledgeable! I loved my hair! The cut and blow out was beautiful and it even looked like I had a color treatment as well. Waited over 30 minutes for a simple trim and was skipped over three times by other walk in's. Finally asked if my name was on the list thinking maybe it was a system glitch, and was told I would be next. Then they called another walk in who came in less than ten minutes prior. I decided to just leave as they seemed very busy decorating for a party and hand selecting which clients to work on. The manager (I presume) followed me out of the building... very uncomfortable. My partner and I went to Supercuts to get haircuts and it was a disaster. All they had to do was use the clippers on the sides cut the top and blend. What we got was hair that look like I was part of the jack ass movie, a big gouge on the side of my head and everything was uneven and when she was done she didn't even give me a mirror, that should've been a red flag. My partner had a different stylist and she took twice as long so I thought it would be a nice haircut, boy was I wrong. He looked at me and said you have A gouge in your hair. I thought he was kidding but when we went home and checked both of our haircuts we're awful. My partner had to shave his head and I had to go in the same shopping center to Manolo's barbershop. They did a fantastic job and I wish I would've gone there in the first place but I definitely will be going back to Manolo's in the future. read more

I signed up my son on the app. It said the wait time was 5 minutes. When we showed up, they said it shouldn't be too long. Then they took one guy who was there before us (understandable) and took another guy who showed up after us (not understandable). Then, when someone came in for their scheduled time, they told them they were an hour behind! Why wouldn't they say that to me? Why did they take someone who showed up after us first? That person wasn't coming back from an earlier visit. I don't get it. Maybe their app was faulty but they should've been honest with us as to the time frame. Never got my son his haircut. We had to leave as we were on a tight schedule. I wish they would be respectful of our time as well. read more

I have gone here a few times with my son and have used their "check in" feature on their website. Super easy to use but a complete joke when it comes to actually holding your time split. Multiple times had to wait at least 20-30min for walk ins who get moved forward. Why even bother.....just walk in. This happened twice today. Once to me in the morning when I was early for my time slot and again today with my son when we early. Maybe just poor policy or management or both. Who knows?? Moving on somewhere else. Lost a loyal customer that has been loyal to this location thorough the pandemic. read more

Morgan has cut my hair several times and have enjoyed talking with her. And as well which is very important to me ( as is probably a lot of people) she has cut my hair to what I have asked it to be cut and finished to what actually wanted it to be done like. Over the years you ask the stylist to cut the hair as you have described and you end up to what the stylist wanted not you. Its refreshing to get want you actually want. I had a gift card from Gadabout that a friend regifted to me. It was for $160.00. I got a color and and highlights for exactly that amount. I almost choked because I thought it was enough for two colorings at least. The technician that did my hair was friendly but I would have liked someone a little friendlier and more interested in conversation. Today I had the completely opposite experience. I had the good luck to have a friend recommend me to the Super Cuts in the Broodson Shopping Center on Harrison and Broadway, in Tucson. I was recommended to see Stephanie for my color and highlights. She was so much fun, great conversation and fantastic coloring. It looks so natural. Even my husband liked it. He liked the price even better. It was less than half the price of Gadabout, even with a tip and buying product. I will definitely keep going there and see Stephanie for my color. I would absolutely recommend Stephanie who works in the Super Cuts in the Broodson Shopping Center in Tucson. read more

Sunday morning I woke up & decided to get my haircut last minute. It had been a while because I've been growing it out long. Best last minute decision ever! I checked in ahead of time right when they opened & as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by Maxi. She took me to her chair right away & listened to what I wanted & what my hair goals were. During the shampoo & cut we talked the whole time making it fly by. She is the sweetest person ever. I left with exactly what I had in mind. She told me she does only work certain days & those will be the only days I go from now on. I don't care if I have to wait twice as long to have Maxi cut my hair. The Supercuts itself was clean, organized & the staff seemed friendly but if my rating was for my stylist I'd be giving 10 stars. Looking forward to going back at the end of the month. read more

I just tried this Supercuts location today after time and time again having my simple haircut botched at Cost Cutters on 22nd/Old Spanish Trail. The experience from beginning to end was a welcomed breath of fresh air. I loved the ability to check-in online via the app on my iPhone and know exactly when to leave my house. I barely waited 2 minutes once I arrived. After that Morgan did a FAST and phenomenal job cutting my hair. I couldn't be happier and definitely will make this my new place since I live on the same street intersection. read more

The woman rushed the entire time and honestly trashed my hair with her brush. I have medium/long hair and wanted to cut about 3 inches off but she maybe cut off 1. After shampooing my hair she took this extremely coarse brush and just started wacking at my hair to detangle it. This just resulted in her tearing my hair and damaging it. This place used to be really great. No matter what the luck of the draw, you would be assured in getting a decent haircut. No more! They either fired everybody or everyone quit. They got new people and they can't do their job! I had to go back to get my hair evened up because they screwed it up the first time and the girl was rude! She and the other girl were talking and laughing about how she screwed up someone else. Plus they screwed up my sons cowlick so now it sticks up constantly. If you don't want to dish out the cash for an expensive hair cut, I'd recommend getting your hair cut by Derek. This was my first time into Supercuts, I walked in on a Friday afternoon for a hair cut. There was no wait which was a big relief to me because every time I go into cost cutters I have a 30 minute wait. The stylist that helped me was Derek. He was very professional, out going, witty and knew exactly what I wanted. He corrected my hair style with ease, I had several random layers that turned into a breakage mess when my hair grew out. He cut my hair to a medium length bob and styled it beautifully. I was very pleased to find a stylist at a walk in basis salon that was so helpful and skilled. read more

Many great experiences here! Liana always cuts my long hair and does an excellent job! I typically pull up a photo of how I want my cut, she gives me advice on how the cut will look on my particular hair and then works her magic! This store is clean and friendly with great customer service. You may have a small wait at times, but even so Liana will make sure you have an exceptional experience. read more

This location is really easy to book appointments with, and the wait is never very long. Marisa was my stylist and she was phenomenal. She's the only one I've had in my experiences with many salons who didn't complain about how much hair I have (it's long and thick), and she knew just how to cut it so it didn't immediately frizz out on me. The haircut quality is ok. The 2 stars is for the customer service. Why my children had to wait for their haircuts when customers coming in after us were served first is beyond me. I know they didn't check in online, and even if they did, the check in is not a guaranteed appointment, they would still be waiting for customers who arrived before them.
