I made two appointments online for a root touch up. Both were canceled. The first one at 5:40 pm and it was too late in day and they asked if I could reschedule for the morning. I said no problem. I got online a scheduled an appointment at 10:15, and I got there and they told me it was too early to color put on. I'm not sure what kind of Goldie Lock's schedule they have around there, but if you want to actually have hair service I would make an appointment somewhere else. read more

I'm deeply disappointed with my experience at this salon. What began as a straightforward request for a haircut and highlights turned into a stressful and costly miscommunication that left me unhappy with the final result. I originally requested partial highlights (6-15 foils) and due to scheduling limitations (on their end) I was told the service needed to be split across two appointments. When rebooking online, I changed the service to full highlights with the understanding that this meant more highlighted sections -- not full color applied over my entire head. My intention was clear: preserve most of my natural hair, section off gray streaks in front for color and lighten sections with bleach in the back. What makes this even more frustrating is that the booking system apparently reserved two separate services: one for full highlights and one for partial highlights. I did not understand that this was happening, and when I later asked the stylist why both services appeared in the appointment, she admitted she didn't really know and "didn't think much of it." She also acknowledged that she should have clarified what I wanted before proceeding. Unfortunately, not knowledgeable of the process and having taken an important call during the process... it was applied all OVER my head without confirming the plan with me first. The end result was not what I requested at all. There were miscommunications on multiple levels and because I am fond of the hairstylist, I tried to approach the situation fairly and in good faith. I offered to meet halfway financially by paying $35 toward the color (not the full price $70). That offer was refused outright, and I was still expected to pay the full amount for a service that was not what I asked for. This entire situation could have been avoided with better communication, clearer consultation, and more attention to what the client was actually requesting. Instead, I left feeling unheard, overcharged, and disappointed by the lack of accountability afterward. I am proceeding to ask for a correction without further charge. She Asked if my previous hair color was done by them and I said no, she looked like I was a Martian from another planet. I only wanted my grey covered. No apologies nothing after I waited all day. About a week ago, I took my little boy into Supercuts for a trim and hard line. We used to go to the one by our house in AZ and always had pretty good, reasonably priced cuts there. We'd also visited this location once when we first moved here. Wellllll... something definitely went wrong this time. The cut was fine but the hardline turned into some weird design that looked like Charlie Brown's shirt or a remedial Wonder Woman logo. I'll take partial responsibility because I gave him an example photo of what I was going for but then also gave him artistic freedom... never again. lol So I could have probably gotten over the weird design but then I was charged so much for it... $18 for the cut and an extra $10 for design. After I tipped my $5, which I always do, I walked out paying $33 for a KIDS haircut. That's NUTS. Even when we go a local guy who specializes in amazing design it's not that much. I thought I'd be getting a more economical kids' cut at Supercuts but was way wrong. I've tried to shake it off but am still thinking about it so... booh. I'll post a pic for reference. Stopped by for a walk-in appt on a Thursday afternoon. There was no wait at all - I was seated right away for my haircut. I came in for about a 3 inch trim and simple layers in the front. The lady who cut my hair was awesome! I didn't catch her name but she had long black hair and a cute half up half down bow bun going on. She didn't feel the need to fill the silence with small talk about the weather or questions about my life. She didn't yank on my hair when brushing it out. She didn't even push any hair products on me during checkout. It was a wonderful experience. Truly appreciate when I can just sit in a chair, relax, and close my eyes. I went there to get a hair cut. I have not been there for years but decided to give it a try a few days ago as I was in the area. This sweet lady cut my hair as we talked about music. She did a wonderful job cutting my hair. I wish I remembered her name. However, on that day I tried the wrong credit card to pay for my haircut which was so embarrassing! Showed up at 3:00 pm to sign in for haircut. The girl at front desk took down my name and said it'd be 25 minute wait. All the seats were taken so I told her I'd be in my car waiting. 20 minutes later I walked back in. Waited for 15 minutes before asking the brilliant young lady if maybe I missed my spot? She couldn't get the computer to work and said she'd let me know once she got help to fix it. Another 10 minutes roll by and she finally got some much needed help. I was then told that there was still 4 people ahead of me..... so after a hour of waiting. I was still in behind 4 people. She apologized and said "sorry, I didn't know that people would be taking their lunch break". Seems to be something making a schedule would check? Went in on Saturday, wanted shampoo, cut color etc. I was told a time , it was approximately just short of two hours, no biggie , went next door got a mani, pedi, wax. Went back in 15 minutes prior to time I was given , it was politely acknowledged I was there... after she gets done with person she was working on , takes money , cleans station , I was ready to stand up , when she takes someone else a gentlemen... letting me know I would be next... When I got home I noticed there was a shaved part that was not able to be fixed, everyone knows once they go too deep it's too late, gotta wait til it grows back, and you don't notice right away because they never style your hair the way you had it when you first came in. I've gotten many hair cuts like this but never said anything because I don't wanna be a pain in the ass, but I mean come on, if you went to school to learn how to do this, do it right. I went to this place to get a trim as well as bangs. The stylist finished my hair but didn't do my bangs how I wants. He only did a frame around my face. I told him I wanted them shorter but he said that it wouldn't look good because I have "thin hair". I tried to show him a reference photo of me when I had bangs but he insisted that my hair looked great the way it was. It was a total waste of money coming here because I didn't even get the style I wanted. He made he feel ashamed for wanting something as simple as bangs! I had to go to another stylist just to get the style that I originally wanted. It was such a simple request too. Just spend the extra money and go to a local stylists. Normally I love going super cuts, they cut my hair perfect. Today I am beyond pissed! All I wanted was a bang trim! The " stylist" looks so confused when I told her that.. I should have gotten out of the chair then.. she then asks me do I want her to cut it wet or dry.. I told her you are the stylist..I also told her and showed her I want my bangs SITTING ON MY EYEBROWS!!! So she starts doing the trim.. The only complaint is the front desk counter even though I always call in for an appointment the last two times of been there they have taken someone else at my time last weeks excuse was he has the same first name as yours? Ok then why do you ask for my last name when I make the appointment I have no idea why I was skipped the time before, young girl has a very cavalier attitude ! I have the Manager of Super Cuts cut my Hair. I am glad the District Boss Sheila recommended her. She has cut my Hair twice and I couldn't be more satisfied. What I enjoy is talking with her about events and different things. Super Cuts is very clean and the waiting Area is comfortable. There is also and area with Hair Products etc. A nice thing is Super Cuts has a great Customer saitisfaction of Products sold. It's been over a year now and she's yet to do a bad job, which is really impressive with my mop. Not only is she talented with hair, but she is really friendly, happy, and most importantly, she's a crazy lady (in a good way)! Sang gets 5 stars and the store gets 3. I prefer Leslie at Tru Cuts on Reeside; she's a friend and just knows how to cut my hair - which is pretty easy. She's funny, witty and has a great smile. Ok... so this isn't about Tru Cuts, is it? I was putting tires on the car nearby and had an hour to spare... and I also needed to get a haircut so.... Supercuts was close and what the heck. I was in and out of there pretty quickly and Sang did take her time and make sure my sideburns and sides were equal in length (my head is lopsided so this makes it very challenging). Took my 3 year old son there to get his usual fade with longer hair on top, to keep his curls alive. Saw a nice young, thin gal with long hair. EXTREMELY PISSED OFF at how much rushing occurred that evening. Being that my son is young, they had candy handy so he was sitting still enjoying that, plus I played his favorite cartoon on his phone. He's good at sitting still. Not only was his face HORRIBLY uneven but not even properly blended at all. And when you say take a little, the stylist takes too much off. His curls were uneven and shorter than I wanted. And his "LINE UP" forget about it!!!!!! Crooked as hell and made his look more scruffy than he was to begin with. Of course when I get home and shower him and remove the little pieces of hair off, which they were in a rush to barely remove, I notice the details. Word of advice, take your time and treat people well. This is your job that you've gone to school for and you get paid to do. Make it count, never going there again! read more

I asked for an A-line bob, and halfway through freaked out as I realized that i was getting something more like man-hair (uhm, very short boyish cut is what i mean) .. and when I freak out, the other lady working there doesn't ask the one who's obviously failing to understand what I want to step back, she tries to explain where she's gone wrong and leaves again.. it was a traumatic experience, and I will never ever go back.
