Had some time to kill while my wife was helping at our grandkids school and decided to get an overdue haircut. I make an appointment for 10:20 AM and arrive at 9:45 AM. Luckily for me the manager Natasha took me at 10:10 AM. Natasha has everything needed to deliver a 5 star outcome. She has personality, gift of conversation, gentle touch and great skills. She also leaves no straggly hairs behind. You know, the hairs that spring up in places like the ears, bushy eyebrows and the forest on the back of the neck. Getting old is a bitch. Natasha is very expedient, completing this task in 20 minutes. Bonus at checkout is the senior discount. Worst place you could ever go to! We should've listened to the reviews. My husband came in for a small haircut. There was one lady only which should've been a red flag. He specifically asked for a little on top and the sides. She completely ignored him and cut off all his curly hair. Leaving it completely patchy on the back. I called ahead to make an appointment. I arrived 5 minutes early. There were two people working. Only one was cutting hair. No one checked me in, I sat there for 25 minutes. Then the other person not cutting hair started tag team cutting the persons hair because they were arguing with the hairdresser. Why take appointments if you're going to be 20 minutes late? And I'm supposed to tip after getting 25 minutes of my life wasted? Lol.... read more

Terrible haircut. $28. Anastasia cut my hair and I thought it all went well. She was very, very fast, but I thought it was experience. Nope. Dangly hairs all along the side. Strands hanging longer on one sideburn and not the other. My whole right side is longer than my left. It's over my ear on the right, and shorter than my ear on the left. I asked for the the front of my hair to be longer than the hair behind it for when I style it. Nope! Longer in the back. I will never go back. Period. Worst haircut I've had. I don't know how you can cut hair for 8 years and mess up this hard. This is my first time at this Supercuts too. I have been to two others this owner has off Oceanside/college and 76 by Walmart. Went in for a trim and shampoo. Kat is awesome! She took great care of me and I'm super happy with my hair. While I was in the chair, an unruly customer was yelling and making a scene. It was the worst haircut I've ever gotten. It was a simple trim that I wanted. First of all, I told the stylist that I wanted only an inch cut off and she cut off more than 2 inches. The layers were uneven in many places all around. I could've done a better job myself. Worst haircut I have received. The picture with the caption is what I asked for the one on the left is what I received. I booked an appointment for a haircut not knowing that I wouldn't get a wash included which is standard for most places. So she sat me down and sprayed my hair with water and then cut it. Then after the haircut was over she did not give me an option to get my hair dried or styled even though I made an appointment and there should have been enough time for my full service. Not that any styling would change the fact that she cut my hair completely different than the picture. I went home to style it myself to reveal that no amount of styling would fix the fact that my hair was cut completely wrong. read more

I came in and asked for half an inch off. She kept chopping and chopping. Now I can't even put my hair in a ponytail. She took off 2 inches after I told her not to. I even had to point out to her that one side was longer and she missed sections in the back. Now I have to go somewhere else to get this choppy, horrible haircut fixed. Needed a quick, reasonably priced (and by that I mean inexpensive) haircut and had seen this Supercuts on multiple different trips to this particular shopping center. Very small but open salon. You can see the chairs, mirrors, sinks, and all other accoutrements in one take. It was empty in there minus one gentlemen finishing up paying for his haircut and 3 stylists -one of which was working on a mannequin head; I assumed she was in in-training/sharpening her techniques. The lovely girl that cut my hair (of course, as usual, I have forgotten her name!), blonde-haired, tall, and had an adorable accent, did an outstanding job cutting the jungle that is my hair. She went above and beyond what I was expecting! I just needed the dead ends gone and layers to be added. Totally appreciated her massaging my scalp when she was shampooing and conditioning my mop! She gave good suggestions and listened to my wants: we found a really great middle ground! I think if I'm in need of the same kind of haircut, quality service and low quantity price, I'll come back to this Supercuts! Horrible service. My husband wanted to get a quick hair cut after work so I made an appointment/reservation hours earlier for 7:30. He arrived at 7:15 waiting until 7:50 then another lady walked in and they took her before him and they replied with "she's our regular client" They close at 8 pm so he was unable to get a haircut. I'm sure there are many great stylists who work for Supercuts, so I may have just ended up with a girl who didn't know what she was doing. I went in for highlights and a cut and was very upset with the outcome. The highlights came out like stripes and the cut left my bangs hanging in a chunk next to my cheek. I tried asking her to fix it, but she told me it looked bad because she hadn't styled it yet. After she curled it, the shape was still unflattering. I later asked her how long she had been doing hair and she admitted to only having had a few months of experience. I've had my hair done at 3 other salons since to try repairing her work. read more

This is only for eyebrow waxing. I stopped in this shopping center for something else completely but saw 3 salons right next door to each other. They each said they did waxing and since I needed an eyebrow wax I quickly looked up each place on yelp to see which receives the best reviews for this. Surprisingly, this place! The girl who did my wax was super quick and my brows are all nice and clean looking. I'm glad I stopped in here to have this done. I was in and out of here in no more than 10 minutes.
