Look, it is Supercuts. It is not a place where you are going to have some high end fashion stylist give you a $500 haircut. But it is exactly what it says it is....they give a good haircut at a great price and the people there are super friendly, quick to get you in, and want to make sure you are happy. I went today and the haircut that was given was awful. Clearly the stuff there has no skills on hair cutting and we are not even talking about hair styling. I requested a very simple haircut and it costed $20 dollars, which is not cheap since other saloons for $25 gives you a very nice haircut and styling. The one I received was worth $10 top. Supercuts has already bad reviews but I wanted to check it out myself and well other people are right about it. I was very nice and I left some tip since it is New Year's Eve. I do discourage people to go to supercuts, the personnel is very inexperienced. read more

Wow, this place is very professional compared to Supercuts in Charleston Plaza just down the street. Araceli did a great job. This place has a dedicated person to take down names and answer the phone for appointments -- allowing the stylists to work. El Monte Supercuts receives top marks from me for organization, competence, and ability to listen to people and *understand* them correctly. read more

I had a very great first experience at this Supercuts. First I was greeted by a very friendly front staff person. My hair stylist, Monique, did a very wonderful job on my haircut. I have long hair and wanted a trim with layers. She asked me every step of the way what exactly I wanted and executed it beautifully. I love the cut I got. She was very friendly the entire time. At the end, there was a misunderstanding of what I had asked for, so the price was more than I expected to pay. They listened to what I had to say, and lowered the price for me because of the misunderstanding. I will definitely be going back to this particular Supercuts to have a friendly experience and leave with a great haircut. read more

I take my kids here. The only stylist I let cut my kid's hair is CeCe. She knows how to cut hair. I've had others there cut my kid's hair, and it's not very good (uneven or bangs cut terribly). But, CeCe. Yes. One day she'll leave to a nicer salon and I will probably follow her if I can. read more

This is a very good place to get hair cut. The stylist was nice and listened to me as I told her what I needed. I got a shampoo with my cut, it really turned out nice. She even listened when I told her that I wanted my earrings to show so she had to layer it for me. I had to wait about 15 minutes but they had some magazines to look at. read more

I'm a long time regular customer. I've seen the same stylist for 2+years. NO MORE!!! Why make appointments if you don't honor them. I showed up on time for my pre scheduled appointment. It is not like the stylist was finishing up with a prior client... Oh No!! As I was walking in, on time, for my appointment she was taking a walk in client ahead of me. She knew I had an appointment with her. She actually thought I would just be nice and wait. Even another stylist looked at her with disgust and said "you should have waited." Her flippant reply was.. "yeah, I know" Sorry... I made an appointment for a reason, I am a regular client for a reason. Losing me may not make a difference in your life, but I expect to be treated with the basic decency of an establishrd client of over 3 years. This was an instance of you taking advantage of the kindness of a regular client. That was your mistake. Don't ever underestimate or underappreciate the value of a regular client. You know I'm a very good tipper 20%+. Your taking me for granted today cost you a loyal repeat client. I will take my money, my business, and my loyalty where it is appreciated. read more

I made an appointment for my two children this afternoon. We arrived on time but the woman at the front desk said we would have to wait for 2 customers before us. I asked what was the point of making an appointment when we would have to wait. She said that they don't make appointments, they make "reservations". Apparently, a "reservation" means you take the time and trouble of calling them ahead of time to say that you will be there at a certain time, but when you arrive you will be treated just like any walk-in customer off the street. The woman at the desk was rude, dismissive and clearly didn't care that I was upset. No one in my family will ever go here again. I hope the place goes out of business soon and that woman loses her job. read more

Great haircut, great price. I've been going to this Supercuts for a while now and thought I'd share it with others. I have long wavy hair, so a good cut makes all the difference. The cuts I've gotten here look great for several months no matter how I style my hair! I've had extremely good cuts here, and took my mother in for a cut and styling twice. I went to the store to get highlights and the people there made lots of excuses for why they can't do the highlights. I went with the flow and asked them to cut just about until there is a inch of hair left. Imagine a buzz cut, exept slower and a little more hair left. My hair is my identity and I know I'm speaking for a lot of other people when I say that I got super pissed off when I looked in the mirror and saw that they did a cut I could have done better. Terrible, terrible, terrible service. I went for a haircut - walk-in. They said they were busy, but to come back at 7 pm - i gave them my name and mobile. Showed up promptly at 7 pm. They said to wait - waited for 15 minutes - then asked when I would be serviced - they said approx 15 - 20 minutes more. To me that is unacceptable - to ask me to come in at 7, then not say anything until I asked and say it would be another 15-20 minutes is just poor customer service. Came it at 9am for color. Not one other customer was in there. 2 girls working on a Tuesday . They turned me away and said they don't do color until 1 pm per manager's orders. Well that is just about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Good job, you just lost a paying customer on a Tuesday morning. read more

She not only listens to her clients, but she uses her professional expertise and experience to deliver first-rate haircuts. She takes the time to make sure that her clients feel comfortable and are satisfied with the outcome. In addition, she manages the employees and environment around her to maintain a clean, efficient, and professional atmosphere. She maintains high standards for herself, and for the other Supercuts staff. Very disappointed in this place. Not because I got a haircut but because I waited an hour to get one and after waiting an hour I finally left! I didn't have an appointment which I understood I needed to wait, there were two people of ahead of me but the fact that they told me that they would fit me in afterwards and didn't was what really got to me. People kept coming in and they had their appointments so they kept taking them instead of me. I wish I would have been told to come back in an hour or that if you make an appointment then they would of taken me, not just sit there for an hour and have them keep taking care of other people that kept coming in that made appointments and completely ignore me! If you guys don't accept walk ins that should of had been told to me instead of having me waste my hour there just sitting!!! The reason why I stayed was because they kept telling me I was next when I really wasn't! 6 people went before me even though I had been there before some of those people and when they took the 6th person and had told me I was next and I wasn't, I finally said something and mentioned how ridiculous this was to have me sit there for an hour and promise me I would be next when really I wasn't. Thanks for wasting my time!! I will be contacting corporate as well so that they know how customers are being treated!!! This was going to be my first time there but never again will I ever go back!! Great clips took me in no problem, that's where I should have gone to begin with but I wanted to try this place out. You have now lost a new customer!
