We discovered WonderCuts (and specifically Lan) during the pandemic. She was one of the first (and few) to open her store and take safety precautions. They also have an easy to use online reservation system which eliminates your wait time at the store. Our whole family has been going to WonderCuts since then. Lan does a great job with men's, women's, and children's haircuts. I like that they are doing haircuts outside in the parking lot. They covered the chair with a plastic wrap and had a box of clean sheets to cover your body from hair. I had to fill out a questionnaire and give my address and phone presumably for contact tracing. Then was offered sanitizer. The stylist also applied sanitizer liberally. The haircut was fine. She did her best cutting around the mask straps. No water was used and no hair product was used at the end. I guess that's best to take every safety precaution. I think during the pandemic, at least, I will get my hair cut here. read more

If I could only give it a lower rating then 1-star, I would. First, the tall lady with glasses was cutting my hair just how veggies are cut. She didn't care about the length. 2. I clearly told her that I have a side parting and requested her to not mess up that. But it's called Wonder cuts for a reason. 3. She gave me scars on my neck. Upon asking her to slow down the first time, she said its late and she has to close the store. She did the same thing again and I had to be aggressive and ask her to be nice to my skin. Never going back here even in my dreams. Guess that's what a $12 haircut does to you. Appreciate the tipping culture in America but if you expect me to tip you even after a bad service, I am not tipping you guys. read more

If I could give it less stars, I would. Very bad service. As you can see in the picture, they did not take proper care with the machine and severely scratched the back of the head. Extremely painful! $8 for a men's haircut. Supercuts charges almost twice that and there's no guarantee who you will be cutting your hair that day. No sirree. My friends first recommended me to Wonder Cuts probably well over 5 years ago, but at the time I already had a barber that I knew for a few years. Well when my barber left, I knew I had to give Wonder Cuts a try. My friends and I all book appointments with Kim who has the first chair behind the cash register. I usually call the day of to make an appointment because she gets quite busy. I rarely have to wait 5 mins with an appointment and on the off occasion where I walk-in, there are lots of current up to date magazines to keep you occupied while you wait. I'm usually in and out in 15 mins and I get a professional hair cut everytime. If you're looking for an inexpensive hair stylist, I would definitely recommend Wonder Cuts and especially Kim. read more

I made an appointment online with Jenny for 4:15. I got both an email and a text confirmation about my appointment. I showed up at 4:08, there was one person in the chair and two people waiting for haircuts with the lone stylist, presumably Jenny. "Can I help you?" the lone stylist asked; I replied that I have an appointment at 4:15 with Jenny. "I don't know about that appointment and I have these people ahead of you" gesturing to the two people waiting and the person in her chair. I told her that I made a confirmed appointment online. She said "I don't check those" and told me to come back in an hour. I told her "I can't come back in an hour" and left. Unbelievably inept management and poor service and I was there less than three minutes. I strongly recommend AVOIDING this place. read more

I would like to give zero rating for their rude behavior, uncleanliness and making me wait for 1 hour even though I had appointment. There was a man and a woman. They don't bother to sanitize the chairs. I went for my kid's haircut and asked to sanitize the chair before the lady started. Both the man and woman got very angry because of that. I noticed the cloth which was wrapped around my kid, had so many hairs on it. The lady took it out from the "clean" box. When I questioned they really didn't have any answer for that. I prefer not to go to this salon again ever and won't recommend this to anyone. They are not doing any unique or super great job anyway. They need to work out on their arrogance first and need to learn to how to listen and respond to customers. I left the place immediately and moved to a better salon nearby for haircut. read more

Don't go here if you like your hair!!! My daughters and I went here for back to school cuts, and while my daughters are satisfied with their cuts, I am devastated!! I asked for 5 inches off my waist length hair, they took 10! I was a bit worried the whole way, because we did not spend a lot of time discussing how to cut my hair at the beginning, so I wasn't sure she knew what I wanted; and boy, her hands were so quick. But guess I lucked out, the result was just great! Man, she is quick and skillful, I also like the fact that she is non-chatty and focused on cutting my hair. Spending 20 minutes there not only got rid of the 'carpet' on my head, but I walked out with a great style too! And one more tiny detail to add, you know how most salons express their expectation for tips, by breaking your change, not Kim though. My hair cut and blow dry ( no shampoo ) cost $15 total, I handed her a $20, she gave me back a $5, I had to specifically ask her to break the $5, I happily left $2 for her. After two weekends of calling and learning that she was off on Sundays......I finally called this past weekend and set up an appointment on Saturday! One of my good male friends, and a now-ex have been going here for ~3-4 years now, specifically for Kim's services. AND, my ex said that if he lived within an hour's drive in the bay area, he'd continue to go to her for his haircut. That says a lot. Anyway, last year, I finally decided to have her cut my hair (FYI, she cuts her own hair, and it always looks fantastic!), and I totally regretted not having her cut it before! Not sure how this place got 4.5 stars on average but worse men's haircut I have ever had. I called 10 minutes before coming and they said they were free to take me, after a 45 minute wait, the lady spent less than 5 minutes on my hair. I asked for a 2 on the side and to shorten the top a bit. She used the clippers for the entire hair cut even though my hair on top is way too long for that. Sideburns were uneven and way too high for me to quickly fix, will probably take a few weeks to grow back to normal. Be and Kim are great. Be is my personal favorite. Lan on the other hand is absolutely horrible! I've had haircuts from her twice and recently took my son in to get a haircut. She uses sideburn trimmers that scratch your skin leaving red marks and she repeatedly hasn't apologized for it. She also doesn't follow directions. I have been going here for 10 + years and recommend it to everyone but especially the guys. Can't beat the price and service. I have had my hair cut by every one of the ladies here and at least one gentleman. Had my hair colored here and tried new things and have never been disappointed or unhappy.
