This is a terriable business. I had a 2.15 appointment but when I showed up 5 min ahead of the appointed time, I was told that I had 4 parties in front of me. Apparently, they do not honor appoitment. I wish they told me when I made the appointment. I wasted 45 min driving back and forth. I will never try this store again. I will probably skip all supercuts from now on. read more

I came to Supercuts because all I needed was a trim and I couldn't see paying $50 at a high end salon for a 5 minute procedure. The place is very nice and warm and cozy when I walked in. I said I needed a trim and I was told it would be about 5 minutes. I stood and looked at the hair cut menu and saw that for $23 I could get a shampoo, trim and blow dry. When the girl called me back I told her I wanted all three. She washed my hair and gave me an excellent cut. She went to grab the blow dryer and stated the blow dry would be an additional $38. I asked why it says its only $23 on the menu. She stated a number of things from, the Price is wrong to your hair is to long. I told her I no longer wanted the blow dry if it was going to be $38. My hair cut still looks awesome but I did not appreciate having the "bait and switch" pulled on me. Unfortunately, I will not return after that one. read more

I didn't even get a haircut! I had a 3pm haircut appointment. I walked in and I was told that the stylist left for a doctor's appointment around 1pm and they have "no idea when she should be back". Um, what a waste of time! Never coming back! read more

First time at this shop but definitely not the last! Atalie was fast and did a beautiful job on my not so easy hair with all the cowlicks. I haven't had my hair as short as it was cut in so very long but I think it will be my new favorite style thanks to Atalie! read more

All things considered... it's a supercuts. I'm not one for spending a fortune on haircuts and since I haven't found a barber in the area yet, I lean on Supercuts. Like most locations they are unreliable when it comes to a consistent wait time. One day I'll come in and be helped in 5-10 minutes and others like today I'll be waiting 30-40 minutes. Aside from the inconsistent wait time they deliver a very consistent cookie cutter haircut each and every time so it's what keeps me coming. When I need a cut and don't have time to really think about it they are my go to. If you're like me an don't have major preferences on topics like haircuts than Supercuts is an easy and reliable place. The regular cut without a wash is $18. I typically don't get a wash since I'm going home after. Oh and they finish all cuts now with a warm towel finish to get rid of al of the little hairs on your brow and neck which is pretty nice. read more

I have been coming here, and it's always been a pleasure. NOT TODAY My first time coming back since the lockdown, hair has been a wreck. Getting use to having curly hair all of a sudden, I have a lot and it's thick. It's been very damage so I decided to go After a bad day at work I am in full scrubs (work in the medical field) my stylist was very nice I believe she was some what new. The other person there named Jessica (who I believe was the manager) made me feel so uncomfortable, and to be honest embarrassed me. After my shampoo and conditioner she decides that it's okay to approach me and tells me they don't provide Detangling hair service. The other stylist tells her no I'm also cutting and styling her as in telling her it's okay. I said "um okay sorry but I just came from work" to me it's just very unprofessional. She kept looking our way as the stylist cut my hair very uncomfortable.... Not going back. read more

A trip to this Supercuts location is worth every penny! I started going here about two months ago from a recommendation from my brother. Before, I used to normally just get haircuts at local barbershops in the North County San Diego or Riverside area. However, after my experience at this particular Supercuts I was very impressed and satisfied. I definitely will be coming back again and again. Atalie is the stylist who cut my hair and she did a fantastic job! She was very helpful in finding a hairstyle that fits me and that I would like. She gave me a lot of easy tips to style my hair and continue to maintain it. Overall, this Supercuts location is great! They have an outstanding staff, great customer service, and they do their best to leave their customers with an overall positive and satisfying experience! read more

I highly recommend Heather at Supercuts (at Felicita Ave & Center City Parkway.) I went to have a badly done short haircut repaired - a bit tricky. The manager there (I didn't get her name) made a good "diagnosis", and went through some good options, sat down to help me decide what I would like. Hairstylist, Heather, also made a very good diagnosis as to what went wrong with my prior bad haircut and fixed it - gave me a modern, flattering look. She is a real professional, talented and experienced, that I guess I wouldn't expect to find at a low-cost salon. I would highly recommend this salon. read more

Over two months ago I made an appointment with Tina to get my hair colored in non traditional colors. A number of years ago I would have just done this own my own, but my hair is now very long, I'm arthritic and I was looking for an unusual effect with blue and purple (and not confident that I could DIY & not have it turn out a muddled mess). Double process coloring is an art, & an easy way to destroy your hair if you are not careful. Overstripping will leave your hair too porous to hold color. I have fine, very long, naturally dark brown hair with red undertones and a few grey. Tina took time to discuss with me the different effects we could achieve, and explained why she thought the blue roots with streaks of purple would give me the most flattering. She would turn out to be spot on :-) Also they carry more than one brand of color for the unusual colors which gave me more options from the get go! She stripped my hair only as many levels as needed to get a truly vibrant and well layered/streaked color outcome . I walked out thrilled but never thought that my hair would hold the color so well. I have been dabbling in the "punk" color palette since the 1980's both professionally (for mucho $$) and DIY with professional products. I'm 2 months on and my roots blend nicely with the colors that are only just now starting to fade a little. Oh and best thing of all - it cost me less than half to 1/3 of what I have paid other professionals at top color salons, and my hair is strong and healthy. I look forward to gong in to have my roots done and color refreshed. Also, the staff was incredibly nice and professional, the conversation pleasant, and the whole experience fun. Went in today and had my worst hair cut ever. She did Not listen to what I ask her to do. I requested that she leave the wisps at the nape of my neck. She shaved them off. When I got in my car to leave, looked in the mirror and saw that she had cut one side very short and left the other long. Very uneven. I decided to go back. I ask to speak to the manager. The manager would not even make eye contact with me. Just waved at YB to fix it. I will never go back. What they may not realize is that they lost 2 customers today. My son was with me. He has been customer for more than a year and talked me into going. He will also never return. It's all about how you handle a bad situation. This was handle very poorly. The first time I went there for a haircut... a lady with pink hair did a great job and did exactly what I asked for... probably the best haircut I've gotten so far. However, yesterday, my second visit... a different lady, even after giving her the exact instructions I gave during my first visit, cut my hair too short on the sides and the back. Can't undo these things so no choice but to wait for a few days. read more

I made a wrong turn when going to get my haircut and ended up at Supercuts. I had been to this location before and had a bad experience but decided since I was here, I might as well give it another shot. It was a subpar experience. Not only did she not ask me how I would like my hairline cut in the back, which is what I've come to expect when getting my haircut, but she also had a cut on her hand which did not have a Band-Aid, but was wrapped in what looked like a paper towel and Scotch tape. Not only was it gross for me, but probably dangerous for her. The extent of the conversation with her was a dozen words at most. Which I appreciate because I am not a very talkative person. Still, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was either not welcome or she was not thrilled to be there. Either way, not a very welcoming experience. Overall the haircut was amateur at best. Don't know how you can mess up a faux hawk, but she found a way. Longer on one side than the other. I am used to being covered in hair after getting my haircut but not used to having the entire smock worth of hair dumped in my lap while it's being removed. I had my hat in my lap, which ended up with all of said hair in it. Icing on my crappy faux hawk cake. read more

Can I give less than 1 star? I went in to have my sons hair cut. When I asked for a basic boys cut she said she didn't know what I meant. Okay. I asked to have the sides tapered. Again, seemingly no comprehension. I finally just asked her to finish up. When I got to the car I realized the back was uneven and had strands that had not been cut. It was a wreck. I came in today with long waist length hair and asked to get it trimmed two inches and to add in layers just at the ends. I even showed the stylist an exact picture of what I wanted. She literally glanced at the picture for three seconds and then did her own thing. I said I wanted a U shape in the back and she said she would do it. she didnt do it. the whole time, she added in her own input and said what would look good and what wouldn't and looked down on me when I stated what I wanted my hair to look like. the layers turned out horrible. it looks absolutely NOTHING like the picture I showed her. she never stopped to look at the picture before she added in the layers her own way. my hair looks like it has TWO layers to it. there's one thin layer on the bottom and one huge thick layer on top. she even reached for the texturizing scissors and chopped away with my hair without even asking me. the texturizing scissors ruined my hair and made it look like it was dead and uneven. what frustrates me the most is that my hair went from waist length to mid back when I clearly told her two inches. I made her show me before she cut my hair how short it was going to be and she even showed me two inches. two inches turned into six and now my hair hasn't looked this bad in four years. I took a leap of faith in putting layers back into my hair after four years and this is what I end up with. I am extremely disappointed. I'm getting my hair fixed soon which means my hair will now be very short. i was not expecting a foot of my hair to be gone within a week. the lady who worked on my hair was short, had curly brown hair, and a thick Hispanic accent. never going back here again. read more

Walked in to a very friendly Supercuts today I was greeted by a lady named Heather Im pretty sure that her name .She was very polite and wait for me to get off my phone (.Witch was rude, i know ) She greeted me with a smile and took me right back.. No wait it was great .I wasn't sure what to do . She had a Great recommendation for me . I wasn't sure but she set me at ez .. She was very nice and made me laugh with her conversation .(You can tell this wasnt her first year cutting hair) .She is well experienced in what she dose . I walked out looking greater then i thought i could look. She showed me what to use in my hair .and how much (I never really know what to use and how much to use NOW I DO) . Product was great but expensive maybe next time when i can afford it i will ...I Will definitely go back to her I highly recommend her to anyone .Very professional and the store was clean a plus the others where nice too...CHECK HER OUT AND THE STORE GREAT EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND . read more
