I came in to get a haircut after I cut mine at home and it didn't end up even. Elizabeth was kind and attentive. She made my hair even and look healthy again. I would deff come back and ask for Elizabeth again. read more

At 1:44 i walked in and asked for a haircut. I had no appointment and was told to come back at 2:25 pm. I came back and walked 2 minutes after 2:25. I was told to come back at 5pm because i didn't have an appointment. I was told i was late, that i was told to come back at 2:25. I feel like this was rude, misleading, hate crime, and very unprofessional. read more

Came in on a Saturday afternoon to get my daughter's hair trimmed. They had three lovely ladies knocking out haircuts one after the other. We were walk-ins, you can make reservations ahead of time though. Vibe is great. The ladies seem to know their regulars and great them by name. The Mile Tyson fight was last night, that seemed to be the topic everyone brought up when they got in the chair. Five stars for a clean and friendly salon with a great vibe. read more

I mean, I got a hair cut. Service was done in 15 minutes and the vibe of the shop was dull and depressing ... decided I'll do my own at home next time and save the $$ read more

Elizabeth is amazing. She is friendly, not overly talkative but she cares and she does a fine job at cutting hair. One of the best haircuts I've received in a long time, I'll be a regular here now. Prices are also extremely reasonable comparing from barbershops out in the desert where those private barbers will run you up $50 for a haircut and ask for a tip after... not here. Very affordable and friendly staff. read more

Elizabeth is a great stylist and I'm very happy with my haircut today! She also does my husband's hair and always does a great job on him as well. She is kind and takes her time. So grateful I found her! read more

I just walk in one day and requested for hair cut and the attendant asked me if I had appointment , on saying no she offered me cut service in next 1.5 hr. The time didn't work and I booked one next day for 3 pm. Checked in early the next day but had to wait 10 min cause the stylist had 1 more appointment. The waitlist cut went quick and the stylist apologized for check-in me late. The stylist was sweet and showed good understanding of what hair cut I'm expecting. I tipped her as well. Overall I would say this is a good salon if looking for quick fix haircut like trimming. read more

I met a lady by the name of Asia aza she is for my brand she cut my hair did really nice did a nice light color then she had text me and told me she moved out of the salon and was doing a place out of her home now and if I can come by there I did my hair became extremely dark licorice color I had to do a color correction which she does not do it cost me over $500 be careful when you go to these people that they are properly licensed they do have a real salon and never again would I do that I found a great headdresser it's been there for 50 years and I love her my hair was destroyed after this lady put black licorice permanent on my hair I love to golf it was not pretty I said I wanted it lighter to blend with the gray that was just not what I got. read more

Been getting shampoo, simple blow out for 52.O0 for months. Suddenly, the typical miserable stylist on Friday, dec 26th, about noon, tells me it was now 172.00 . So done with this place. Beyond insane price jump. Adios. There's better places to go that don't price gouge. So weird! read more

Worst service ever for a small hair salon. Stylist missed my appointment and left early; others washed their own hair while I waited, but I left going to the East Valley Parkway salon. What a difference‼ read more

Elizabeth did it again!! 5/5 star experience got me in and out for a quick trim. I have thick hair and she is always so welcoming. I love this location and recommend it to all fellow yelpers. If you need a womens haircut come here $27 for a trim. :) Tell her Alex sent you!!! :) read more

Rushed, sloppy and VERY uneven. I came in around 3:00p as a walk-in, they quoted me a long wait time, so I made a 4:30p appointment and came back. I understand running 5-10 mins behind, but I sat and waited for over a half an hour WITH an appointment. Once I sat down I was nervous because the girl that did my hair seemed really rushed since they were behind for other appointments as well. I asked to take 2-3 inches off and keep my hair even/same length all around, except my front pieces which were layered at a different salon. I asked her to just trim a tiny bit from there to get the dead ends off. She didn't part my hair, barely wet it, did not comb through my whole head whatsoever, and I sat in her chair for no more than 5-10 mins. I was shocked when she looked at me and said she was done. I always get the same thing and have NEVER had it done that quickly. The length looked fine from afar in the mirror, but I had to ask her to even be shown my hair from the back lol... When I got home and took a closer look I was appalled by how many chunks were so obviously different lengths. It was choppy and not cohesive at all, and several strands were missed, and I will have to go back to fix this. Even for $29 it was wildly far from decent. read more

I told her it's too short!!! I told her 1 in. Only! My all expensive stylish perm hair is gone~~~~~~ forever. Both side, back hair, and front all wrong. Never going back there again. I just look like an old man now. Waisted $40. read more

I've been to this location before, and had a good experience previously. Today was very different. I had a stylist named Azadeh. I asked her for a trim, 3-4 inches off, with long layers. My hair originally was to the small of my back. She cut it to just below my shoulders. I'm devastated. I'd spent years growing out my hair after it sustained damage from lightening. I just wanted to get rid of my split ends and freshen up my layers. I cried when I got back to my car. Not only do I not want to go back to this location, but I'm considering just never going back to Supercuts period. Saving a couple bucks just isn't worth the risk of getting your hair hacked off. Edit: I just measured it - about 10 inches was taken off the length. I couldn't tell till she was done because I couldn't see the back, and she did face framing in the front. read more

Aza was super sweet and gave me the best cut she listened to everything I asked and even recommended an Amaizing leave in conditioner! The vibe was very friendly in the salon as well! Am definitely coming again! read more

Service was quick, friendly and Christy listened carefully as I told her what I wanted.

I wish there was an option to give this place a zero. My husband made an appointment and arrived 10 mins before his appointment. He sat there and patiently waited but they had him wait 50 mins past his appointment time before they took him (Which is RIDICULOUS). He will NOT be returning. So if you want you're time to be wasted than this is the right place for you but if not I would get your haircut done somewhere else. read more

Kelsey, Atalie, McKenna, Madison, Tina Marie You'll never be completely satisfied with any supercuts location because the quality of the stylists very too much. The good ones never seem to stay long and all it takes is one horrendous cut and you're likely to never come back. This location is better than most, with usually shorter wait times and good stylist retention. - Many of the stylists here graduated from the prestigious Paul Mitchell school ( as per Atalie the store superior).. Does make you wonder why they're working at Supercuts.. - Prices keep rising! Don't raise the price two bucks and justify it by saying it's because they're including a hot towel neck wipe off. - Their app is unreliable for wait times and many times it's down when trying to check-in from the app. TIPS - The best stylist here is Kelsey.. The girl with the scissors tattoo. - The worst stylist is Bonnie... Run! - For guy cuts, they always seem to cut less hair than you request. Not sure if that's the owners policy so that you have to come back more often or what. This location in particular has this issue. - FYI. the review from Mr N was about their stylist Bonnie. read more

Did not actually get cut because I walked in 1 minute before my appointment and the only stylist had just seated another customer. Why take appointments? Very poor judgement. Won't go there again. read more

I love this location for their great customer service. Bonnie introduced me to their great beard care products about six months ago, and I have been a loyal customer of this location since. There are Supercuts all around Escondido, but this location has really great stylists. Especially Bonnie. She takes her time, and isn't afraid to recommend what's best for her clients. My second visit I bought $40 of beard care products and can honestly say it has helped my marriage, and grooming habits. The beard oils and butters really help me to look professional at work and I have Bonnie to thank for that. And when you get home and your wife notices both your beard trim and haircut....well, that is money well spent. Thanks ladies!! read more

I went to Supercuts (Felicita Ave) for the first time during COVID. They took me in right away on a weekday morning. They first took my temperature and I wore my mask, as did the stylist, Kelsey. I had a cut for $25+tip and an eyebrow wax for $12+ tip. Kelsey was very polite, bubbly and chatty and has been there several years. I was quite impressed that they have an app, which I downloaded on my phone at a later time. The salon is no frills, but very clean and has a good vibe. Thanks! read more

Walked in thinking I was going to get a nice hair cut for my son , waited for about 30 min plus only one person . The other girl who came in took us next she was so rude looked like she didn't want to take my child's cut because he was a child . She had a nasty attitude coming in to work very unprofessional wish I would've got her name but all I can tell that she may be Filipino. Didn't listen when I said my son needed his hair even she half assed it and still paid $22 will not come back or recommend. Rather go to great clips or another hair salon where they arnt going to make the customers uncomfortable in being there . Do better !!!! read more

I had the pleasure of having my hair cut from Miss Cynthia. She was very personable and professional. Her knowledge of her hair care products was very thorough and informative. I got my haircut from Frances about a week ago. She was so meticulous with my haircut, it came out amazing! Not only is she a joy to talk to during the haircut. She is extremely talented! I feel both handsome and cute with my androgynous look. I'll definitely be returning to her soon. read more

Excellent spot for a quick, and well done haircut. Kelsey did an amazing job with my barely there hair, girl can fade like no one else's business. I think I've finally found myself a great hair stylist in Escondido. This is one Supercuts I'll be returning to for sure. read more

Today I finally got my "COVID cut" (i.e. the one that you get finally after months of dealing with pandemic mandated salon closures), and Pilitas "PJ" did an AMAZING job! I just moved into the area from out of state, and I was in desperate need of a trim. I requested PJ, because online reviews indicated that she does really well with hair color. She did a great job with my trim (that ended up needing to be a full-fledged cut due to how bad my ends had gotten). She also did really well with flat ironing my 4b hair type afterwards! In listening to the other two stylists and their clients, it's clear that this location focuses heavily on customer service. The conversations between stylist and client were lively, you can tell that the customers needs were important, and everyone was happy with their end result. I think I found my new salon & stylist! read more

This is usually where I get my hair cut. They do a good job, and have taken steps to be consistent.

This place is super AWESOME the girls that run this salon are so super and the kindness here is way golden. This place of supercuts is as JJ would say DYNAMITE read more

I'm not really quite sure of the name of the person who cut my hair, nor do I want to explicitly call someone out. However, from my recent experience, I felt slightly disrespected by the person cutting my hair. She made some, in my opinion, rude and unnecessarily blunt comments when I requested a small haircut so that I could have framers around my face. When I showed her a reference photo, the first comment she made was "girl that's a lot of layers. Your hair is so thin, it would look horrible on you." During the haircut, she then proceeded to tell me what else would look "horrible" on me. While I certainly appreciate the honesty, I felt as though those comments could've been reworded in a much more professional way. She then proceeded to cut, like, nothing, and then charged me quite a bit. I walked out kind of feeling like crap after that whole exchange, because all around, there was just a weird vibe, and it felt like I was an unwanted and difficult customer. I just believe that there needs to be some more emphasis on customer service and positive verbiage at the Supercuts. :) read more

Cynthia is the worst stylist I have ever been with. She was rude and condescending, did not cut my hair the way I asked, and asked no questions about how I style my hair or what products I use before trying to sell me things. My hair looks terrible and I will need to get it fixed somewhere else. I will never return to this location and Cynthia should not cut another persons hair ever again read more

Aza M was an amazing help. I had to ask her to give me an idea about what product I should use for my hair. What she introduced was extremely helpful, and after she was done styling my hair, I took the product back home with me and am extremely satisfied. I washed my hair using the gel she recommended, and I couldn't be happier. People are giving me complements about my hair after Aza helped me. I strongly recommend her to everybody else. She is an excellent hairstylist and very friendly and easy to talk to. Thanks Azadeh! read more

This Supercuts is full of talented and awesome human beings! Atalie and Kelsey are great stylists who listen and take care of each of their clients! The salon is always clean and organized and the stylists always make a big effort to take care of everyone in a timely manner. And I say always because I have been a regular here for 3+ years now. But my heart and soul go out to Atalie. Atalie is a phenomenal stylist! She has worked with my fiancé for close to 4 years to design a perfect style for him that he loves. He is very picky and he won't go to anyone else! Atalie has styled, cut, and colored my hair in every way we could think of. Long, short, the ever so awful in between phase, it never mattered, she always made it work. And every color and blending technique under the sun, it always lasted long and never fried my sensitive hair. She is so careful to listen to your requests and vision for your style and she follows through with precision and experience. Atalie is one of my reasons for never leaving San Diego. She has talent far beyond her humble salon but she would never say or do anything to make you feel like you were anything less than the most important person to walk through her doors. Simply put, we need more humans like Atalie. I will follow her to any salon, for any price, she will always be worth it. read more
